Chapter 1: It Begins

"Here in the city that never sleeps is where our adventure begins"

It was raining heavily on New York City, no one dared to be out on the streets this night,every homeless person was seeking shelter from the rain even a Teenager boy was going alley to alley looking for a place to stay and in the darkest one he did. He sat down cold,shivering from head to toe,stuffing paper in his ripped coat to keep him warm but out of nowhere the rain drops sound was interrupted by a screeching sound.It was a motorcycle with a woman on it screeching the ground,the boy sat quite in fear as heard another motorcycle arrive the alley, the rider was dressed in black from head to toe,it was hard to see its face with the Helmet he couldn't tell if it was a Man or a Woman.

"Give me the book!" its voice sounded like a dark machine.The Woman struggled to get up then finally she stood on her feet,drenched in rain she held the brown covered book in her hand.

"No, it belongs to me!"

"I am warning you give me the book" it said once again but the Woman only held it close

"I warned you!" It raised its hand to the building next to it, the bricks and the wood came together in a circle, it threw the ball to the Woman and with the impact she died. It walked through the rubble to the woman and picked the book from her bloody hands, It started walking back to its motorcycle but it stopped and picked up her body

"I never wish to kill the innocent, use this second chance wisely" It pushed her head to the helmet and a light passed to her then behind them a portal formed and on the other side was a hospital, she laid the woman on the bed with a note and the portal was gone. A phone rang in it back pocket

"Hello"

"Did you get it" A dark voice asked

"Yes"

"Come back" it hanged up, got back on the motorcycle and drove away. The boy sat in fear like he had watched Wizards, he didn't even see the rain anymore.

A woman ran through the a white hallway in a tight skirt dropping papers behind her, she pushed everyone out of her way as she ran out of breath, she burst in to a meeting room

"Head!" she yelled, the man with long black hair turned to her

"Agent Lucy! this had better be good for interrupting us" he said sternly

"It is back" He looked at with surprise

"Show me" she gave him a tablet with scrambled photos a what happened in the alley

"Agent Tony"

"Yes sir!" A man stood up

"Call all agents back from their current missions and schedule a gathering tomorrow morning"

"Yes sir" Agent Tony left the room as another came in

"Sir?" the male agent asked

"What is it?"

"The new agent has arrived"

"Good and just in time out problem is back and its time to get rid of it"

After long rainy night the fog took over the city, people were crowding the streets , some getting to their jobs, some getting to school and small business opened.

"Where's my money, Troy!" Gangsters pushed the boy from the night before on the wall

"I'll get you your money, D I just need more time"

"Put him down boys" the black man walked towards him and picked him by his neck

"Troy, you're A good kid that's why I'm giving you two days to get me my money, you get me" Troy nodded his head

"That's A good boy" His name is Radius or D like everyone called him, and he was the king of the streets, he left Troy as he straightened his clothes. Troy was the boy who was abandon on the streets when he was two with his childhood friend Cal, they grew up defending for themselves for survival, but Troy's mistake was working for D who paid him for doing small jobs like stealing or pickpocketing. Recently he borrowed money cause Cal got sick, but he didn't have the money to pay him back. He went to the main street where strangers walked together, he took a left to a street filled with small shops, he went to a flower shop

"Good morning, Troy!" The old African American said

"Good Morning, Mrs Shepherd" Mrs Shepherd owned a small flower shop and with the little she got, she bought Cal and Troy food and medicine.

"Take this and make sure Cal takes this medicine too" She Troy a bag of food and Medicine

"I will, thank you, Mrs Shepherd"

"Your good boy Troy, you don't need to work for Darius anymore, ok?"

"Yes ma'am" he yelled as he went back to the streets, he walled for a while then came to an empty alley, he walked to the end of the alley where its seemed to be a wall. He put the stiff in his pocket and pulled down a ladder, at the top of the building was a small building like a shed. He pulled the heavy door back

"Troy!" A blond 14-year-old boy hugged Troy, he was short for his age.

"I haven't been gone that long" Troy had black straight hair, it was rarely combed,, and he was 16.

"Eat and take the medicine" he handed Cal the bag of food and medicine, Cal ran to sat down at their small table Cal munched down on his share

"D wants his money back" Troy said going through their stuff

"Ugh, this is all my fault if I did fall sick we wouldn't be in this mess"

"It's ok Cal we'll just pawn something s" Troy took a piece of bread from his share

"Only the best of our stuff the ones we were left with" Cal answered with a full mouth. Troy knew that they couldn't sell their most precious stuff but this was a life and death situation, their life and death situation

The elevator ding snapped Above my Zair back to reality she straighteneded her shirt and walked out. Said tube man known as the best Agent in the American branch, she would always get her jobs done never complain, but our flawless Agent had one problem, and it was finding a partner.

"Agent Zair, glad you're back on time without a partner" Tony said to her

"Never late Agent Tony"

"What happened this time"

"To slow and talked too much"

"Your fifth trial the Head will not be pleased" The crowds of Agents caught Agent Zair's eye

"What's going on?"

"There is a meeting this morning, come on!" Agent Tony and Zair joined the rest of the Agents, they clapped as the Head stood on stage

"Good Morning Agents, As you know why we are gathered here this morning. Last night Agent Lucy uncovered something we all remember about 8 years ago our agency suffered something that was recorded as the worst case ever, we almost lost to something we couldn't understand, but we fought only to scare it away. We were almost shutdown we were able to stand in our darkest hour. Its back and this time were going to save a million lives, this time we're going to win. Agents allow me to welcome special Agent from England Agent Knight" Clapping and amazement filled the air as the Agent walked on stage, Agent Knight had black hair with fashion glasses

"And our own Agent, Agent Zair" she waved to show her presence

"Together, we will defeat the enemy!" They all clapped and went back to their jobs while Zair what straight from the Head

"Agent Zair! Welcome back, I would like you to meet your new partner Agent Knight" Agent Knight smiled and extended his hand for a guest

"Agent Zair" his English accent came out

"Agent Knight" she gripped his hand hard in disgust and he could feel it

"Follow me into my office" Agent Knight and Zair followed him, Agent Knight looked at her black hair, her small freckles could be seen on her dark brown skin. They sat down in the Heads office to discuss the the mission

"I'm sending you to network to meet a woman named Mary Ausburn"

"Mary Ausburn an archeologist why do we need her help with the case" Knight asked

"She came in contact with It actually she was attacked by It and maybe she has a lead so Information and Excecuter"

"Yes sir!"
