Esmeralda?!!

Linda walked closer to her boyfriend, clearly confused. He had given her a ride to her house a moment ago, and now... he had come back? When she was close enough, she asked,"Kevin?... what are you doing here?".

But the man didn't seem to be concentrating on her question.He stared at her, taking the sight of her in. So beautiful,he thought.

She had the same smooth and beautiful brown skin as her daughter. Kyle was light skinned like the mystery girl,but there is no doubt that he got his charms from his mother.

He finally snapped back to reality when she mentioned his name again. He pulled her in and kissed her softly on her lips. " Barely an hour and I already missed you" he showered her with butterfly kisses as the teens watched with grimaced faces. 'Geez get a room',their minds groaned

" Kevin! come on.... we're in front of the kids" Linda alarmed. She then saw the figure lying on the couch. " Hey,who is this?" she asked again. Why would Kevin bring a stranger to my home?

Kevin let go her and cleared his throat,"You don't know her?" .

"No" ,she said shaking her head. She walked round the couch to get a closer to her face. She bent and cleared the wet strands of hair that had fallen on her face.

She gasped when she realized it was a girl around Kelly and Kyle's age. And she had the same skin color as Kyle. She was a beauty with that face.She looked beautiful as she looked unwell.

She hadn't met this girl before, but it seemed she had seen her somewhere. " I saved her. she was nearly hit by a truck--"

"What?!!" Linda turned to clearly shocked. "Yeah. I don't know how she got there,but I think she was on her way to see you .She said your name when I asked her questions. Are you sure you don't know her?" Linda looked at her twin kids who also looked at her back.

They looked as puzzled as she was, except that it was as if they were reconsidering the fact that they hadn't seen her before. It seemed they knew her,but couldn't figure out where.

Kelly walked to where her mother was standing and crouched down to look at the sleeping beauty. She narrowed her gaze still trying to jog her memory. Come on Kelly Renzo, you can feel it.

You know you know her...Fair skin,Beautiful heart shaped lips,brown long hair and her eyes... She gently lifted her eyelids with her finger,and a beautiful brown eye looked back at her. She gasped.

"Esme?!!". All eyes fell on her.Kelly looked at Kyle. " Kyle, come see. it's Esmeralda! Bro, it's my bestie ,your girlfriend!"

Huh? Kyle rushed to look at the figure. Esmeralda?! It was really her.

"Ah...So you know her then."Kevin let how a sigh of relief .

Kyle felt his heart thump in his chest. His girlfriend was here and...so beautiful. Her face grimaced. She wasn't feeling good. He quickly gathered her gently in his arms and carried her princess like.

" Mom, I'm sending her to the guest room. Kelly bring a towel and a bowl of cold water. we have to stop the upcoming fever!" he said and the turned to leave.

Wow... he's like so in love with bestie even more that he saw her face to face. I wonder what bestie's reaction would be when she also sees Kyle. Kelly gleamed and to do as she was told.

After the kids left them alone, Linda and Kevin could only watch them in surprise. What just happened? Suddenly Kevin's phone beeped,and he looked at it. He gasped. Oh no! He had totally forgotten about his sisters!!

He turned to Linda," Love, sorry but I gotta go now. My sisters need me. Please take care of the girl. I'll check on you guys tomorrow. okay?" He gave her a quick kiss on her forehead and rushed out as Linda replied with an okay.

Linda then headed towards the guest room upstairs and found Kyle beside the bed where the girl laid.She went over,she placed the back of her palm on Esmeralda's forehead to check her temperature. Indeed she was having a fever.

Kelly showed up with the towel and water. Linda dipped the folded towel into the water, squeezed it lights and placed it on the girl's forehead.

Esmeralda's face twitched as she opened her eyes slowly. The twins waited in anticipation.

She struggled to open her eyes fully but she still saw the figure looming over her. " Aunt Linda?..."

"Shhhh... my dear, please rest" she smiled and the girl went back to sleep. Linda turned to her kids. They were smiling excitedly. It's really her. Esmeralda
