Prologue

For over years, I’ve been living with agony and misery. I never asked for to be like this. But, it happened just like that. I’m not sure how to put all puzzle onto once. It’s such an enigma to myself. Deep inside of the void, i couldn’t reach anything in darkness. Even I always lost my mind. Anyway, due to my unconscious nature depression. I became addicted to be like this gloomy. I just hope, that day was never came. The day where I lost my life in second.

15 years ago, I had a massive accident were led me to complicated condition. I went surgery likewise. As the result, I lost both legs and the rest are highly wounded. I cried, my mind was somewhere to be found. I lost control for over months. Until then, i regained myself gradually. It was such, a downhill journey to me. To be honest, i just really hope to die since that day. So it left me nothing but scars.

importantly, due to my disable condition. Seems like my parents are having issues to deal with. Father, begun his resent towards me bluntly. Mother, keep pushing me backwards and sometimes ignore whenever i ask for helps. And brother, putting his all hates whenever we met. And it looks like we are no longer family. And yes. Not after my bedrest around to six month later, they abandoned me as they throw me out from family. I’m all alone. None could take me in. With only wheelchair, cross all the streets to find some good place to live. Yet, at the end of the day. I continue myself as homeless person. Sleep under rain, under cold wind, of course, wilderness.

Everything changed after i found a place i could say a better life. That day, i was unsure about things I saw. A place where they accept all kind of people wholeheartedly. Which as soon later, it became my household for years. I feel loved, i feel excited, and feel happy indefinitely. It fees like i’m back on my track. Although. . . these people are completely not blood related at all. I’m grateful no matter what they had done to me. It was more than enough.

As i lived in better environment, i have my own job, my own expenses. I could live way easier and happily. It may seems simple and nothing special about. But honestly, this’s the life i could enjoy for the rest of my life. I started to love myself more than it was. Considering with condition up ahead, why don’t I just focus on myself then? Right? Well, it’s life anyway. By the way, i’m an employee in a Tiffany’s Flower bucket shop. It’s just small florals business. But hey. The owner really loving and caring much more than i expected.

His name is Yoon Ik-Jo. Well, i usually call him Jo. He didn’t even bother of whatever I called him. I’m sure he’s fine with it since he never complained along these years. Of course, he’s much older than me. So i believe it’s reasons why he had more mature than i am. I guess.

I also have another work mate here. Choi Ye-Na and Lee Seung-Soo. They both are the same. We never had problem on getting close and be friend. Ye-Na always helped me during either opening or closing while Seung-Soo helped me moved a bucket to one another. It’s really handy when my hands are full and lack of ability to do multitasking. Indeed I always have this kind of feeling which is guilty. I made them to do my job while I had trouble with. It’s unfair for me cause what i did wasn’t good and right. Though… i don’t know how to handle things sometime. I wish i could have my both legs back.

Anyway, enough with my story. Speaking of the devil, I heard someone will drop by the shop a bit later. And i found that the person is quite important. Hmm.. who are they though? I never heard such thing before. Could it be president? Sigh. Who am I kidding. But seriously, it made me curious. Why Ye-Na or even Seung-Soo looks nervous. They both usually looks casually fine and leaving no sweats. But as for today, it’s quite obvious that they’re not ready at all. Should i ask?

”Hey, Ye-Na.” I shouted her name at least.

”Yeah, what’s up?” She immediately turned her hed to me.

”i was wondering. If this was proper to ask but.. are you okay? You look unusual.” She pause at the moment before she respond. As she winks her both eyes, she begin to talk.

”Ah, am i too obvious to you?”

”well, sort of. Would you tell me why?”

”It’s completely nothing. Nonetheless..”

”yes?” She made another pause. This time, she lopks miserable and seems not too good with it. Perhaps, i shouldn’t ask this anyway.

“Remember what i told you, right? We’re going to welcome huge guest in hour. I don’t think i’m good enough to handle. I’m afraid if I accidentally get myself in trouble. Or even cause them in some inappropriate situation.” A long reason and rant after of what she actually felt. Well.. i mean.. i do understand why she looks so down. But, isn’t she too pessimistic?

“No need to push yourself. I believe, everything is going to be alright. Just gives them your best shot. Mistakes are inevitable. Though, it’ll be our evaluation for better experience in further services.” I had to convince her that things will be okay without stressing too much. I know, this looks like a one tine oppoturnity. As long as we doing fine, the rest are secured. Probably.

“Yeah.. yeah. You’re right. I need to cooldown myself.” She sighed hard as she relief.

”no need to be hurry. We still got plenty of time to prepare.” Hope she feels way better after what i said. Or at least convinced.

Following minutes, she looks more comfortable and relaxed. I’m sure she’s doing good. She just had kind of panic or anxiety attack in short period. Though, i’m glad she doing alright in small amount to overcomes those feeling. Huge commend honestly. Says, huge guest, eh? Probably a chief? A government? A president? Yet, again. Who am i kidding. . .

We continue with the preparation along with our team. We manage to cover all things and provide more suit scenario so it won’t or at least preventing further or unexpected outcome. We barely to experience any kind of that. But. . . We just being anticipated.

“Byun-ah\~” Seung-Soo straight call me from the desk.

”mhmm, yes?”

“Would you mind to switch up place with me?”

“Now? Or later?” He make himself to stand up and leave his seat. Then, slowly walks towards me.

“Well, Mr. Han wouldn’t guarantee anything if i was on the desk. So, I offered to you instead.” He sigh on his own behalf. I think, i do understand. He must be disappointed. Due to. Mr. Han’s decision. Well. . . I couldn’t say no either anyway.

“If it’s that the case, I’m in.” He responds with smile. He drag me to the desk carefully and make sure I’m comfortable enough. I thanked him as he leaves to do something else. That’s Seung-Soo for you. He incredibly cares and gentle. I wonder why is he still available? Is he ain’t got any interest in relationship or anything? That’s questionable but also unnecessary to say. Well, it’s his life, not mine.

Another 45 minutes past, and everything seems ready and well-prepared. Seung-Soo, Ye-Na, Mr. Han, also Mr. Yoon looks neat and clean. They’re really giving their best. I shouldn’t left behind. I’m going to give my best shot likewise.

not too long after everyone’s ready, a car has arrived in front of the shop. A massive and luxurious car parked. A few people came out from the car, as they open the back door. They stand still as the Alpha Male comes out from the car. Wearing neat formal black suit. Nice and tall body, glossy hair, a scent that i can tell already. He must be a important person. It must be.

The body guard opens and makes the way for their boss. As he step in, we welcome him wholeheartedly.

“It’s honor, please welcome, Mr. Lee! We’re happy to have you here!” Mr. Yoon greets the guy as he bow down.

“Much appreciated. Thank you.” He responds.

”Mr. Lee, before we go to the main event. I would like to introduce my newest and recents team lf this shop.” As Mr. Yoon tries to inform us, The guy seems already look at me like he wanted to kill me. Oh lord, please save me at most.

“Here, we have Chou Ye-Na as the administrative assistant of our shop. And we have Lee Seung-Soo as the QC head chief. Han Jun-Oh as the Manager, and the person on the desk, which Mr. Lee sees by now. Kang Byun-Hoon, He’s the Customer Service and support chief.” I never know that my position would be that long. What I remember, Mr. Yoon recruited me for Normal Employee with no kind position offered. That’s a bit surprising but okay.

“Nice to meet you all. My Name Lee Soo-Jung. CEO leader of SJ company.” He smiles and nods as he introduces himself to us. We also nods and bows as he talks. Speaking of which, Lee Soo-Jung. . . I heard the name before. But where it was though?

”to continue our business, shall we move to the private room, Mr. Lee?”

“Sure.” They both continue to plans out the work business partnership or whatsoever i don’t actually know. But, seeing them together. It’s like i’m watching Dramas. A real life drama? Probably. But anyway.

After they went to the room, the situations change back to where it was. Both Seung-Soo and Ye-Na sighed continuously hard. Cause I literally can heard them. I bet they really nervous. Why do i feel fine and nothing happen somehow? Like, i used to be? Though, i never had such memories to greet someone who has never been around and they were crazy rich. Or am i? I mean. . . Lee Soo-Jung. The name that ring the bell. Somewhere i should remember, but i can’t. Now i feel like De-Javu. Seriously.

As i back with the organizing the bucket, one of the guard approach me and bow before he makes interaction. That’s so polite to be honest.

“Greetings, Mr. Kang.”

“Ah, hello. Nice to meet you. How may i help you?”

”i would like to request a help but. . .” He pauses himself as he looks around before he continue. That’s odd. Why he would do that anyway?

“Please, I’m begging to not tell anyone.”

”ah. . . Yes, yes. I Promise.”

”Thank you, Mr. Kang.”

“Don’t mention it.” Seriously, you know, and to be honest. I would scared and piss myself out if this was about life and death. I don’t want to be kidnapped!

“My wedding anniversary is coming soon. And. . . I would like to have some bouquets arrangement.” I literally cannot believe of what I heard by now. I mean, what?

“A— Ah! Y— Yes! That’s great! Congratulations!” With an awkward laugh on my face.

”So, would you like to help me with that? I’ll pay for everything.” Sometimes, this kind of situation happens to me often. And not always be my best option to accept those request. Besides, i never had such opportunity to give a shot. So i think, i’ll try myself on this one.

“I’m not sure, but i’m glad to help.”

”Thank you so much, Mr. Kang!” With his excitement emotion, i can see how happy he is. This should be my most project then. I wouldn’t let anything get down before i try. Let’s do this—

a door suddenly opened and hears Mr. Yoon shouted for help.

”GUARDS!! HELP OUT!!” It’s so loud so anyone inside the shop are pointing at Mr. Yoon.

”MR. LEE SUDENLY PASSED OUT AND HE WON’T MOVED A SINGLE BIT!!” It shocked me honestly. It’s only like ten minutes passed, but situations 10 times change drastically. A total passed out? It must be more than 10 minutes!

All the guards making their way to reach his boss and takes him to nearby hospital immediately. As soon as they leave the shop, Mr. Yoon and Mr. Han follow up to the hospital. And left us to clean the mess. It’s completely sudden and put us in puzzle. How did this happen? What the cause? Why the timeout was too short? And importantly, what they do inside?

For this day, both expected and the unexpected happens. What we anticipate and bar-off any kind of engagement. As the result, we don’t place as the plan goes by. And for that, we put us in lots of trouble.
