A Deadly Deal

Silver had swore he wouldn't do it. He didn't even wanted to. But yet there he stood in front of the apartment 411. Hand in air, ready to knock, but not quite doing it.

He sighed and dropped his hand to the side, ready to walk away, but the door opened.

He cursed inside his head when he came face to face with the Vampire from before.

"What are you doing here?" Azura raised his eyebrows at the awkward Grim Reaper standing in front of the door, muttering all kinds of things ubder his breath.

"I came to see Annika." He spoke after finally gaining the ability to speak.

"Yeah no, you can get lost—" Before Azura could complete the sentence, Blair popped out of nowhere, effectively scaring both of them.

"There you are!" She cheered and pushed Azura aside to drag Silver inside the apartment.

Inside everyone was settled around the living room, either on the couch or the floor with a big pile of blankets on side.

"Look who just got here!" Blair announced, as she pushed Silver in front.

"Oh, Silver!" Annika called out, getting up from the couch to check on the guy.

"Hey.."

"How are your injuries, any better yet?" She asked as she slowly turned his face from side to side.

'No. They're worst.'

"Yeah, they're fine." He threw a quick glance around the room to find most of the creatures glaring at him, he just rolled his eyes in annoyance.

"Anyway, I just dropped by since I was here, I should go now—"

"Don't."

"Huh?" Silver stared dumbly at the Nine-Tailed fox, not really understanding what did she meant by 'don't'.

"I meant, if you're already here, why not watch the movie with us, genius." The fox rolled her eyes, how could a Grim Reaper be this dumb?

"No thanks, I'll just go," But before he could walk away, Annika grabbed his coat.

"Stay, please? Just for a few minutes?" Those sparkly eyes were once again looking up at him.

'No! You just have to say no!'

"Alright," Silver slapped himself as hard as he could, mentally, or these idiots might actually prove him to be a nutcase.

'A Grim Reaper who can't say no. Amazing.'

Annika clapped her hands as she quickly dragged him over to the couch.

"Wait, you can change if you want, this suit might be uncomfortable for you,"

"Ah no, it— it's okay," The last thing Silver wanted to get out of his suit. He wore it almost everytime so now it's kind of weird for him to wear something other than this suit.

"Oh don't be so formal, I'm pretty sure Azura or Elikko's clothes will fit you perfectly!" Silver glanced at the creatures mentioned, he didn't have to be a genius to know that none of them were happy with what Annika offered.

"Nah, I'm fine—"

"Oh it's no biggie, Azura will give you his clothes, won't you, Azura." Blair smiled victirously as Azura nodded his head and came to escort Silver to his and Elikko's room.

"I'll go with him," Elikko started, "Maybe he won't fit in Azura's clothes, yeah?" Without waiting for a reply, Elikko also slipped inside the room.

Once behind the closed doors, Azura pushed the Reaper to floor, who fell with a thud due to the sudden push.

"The hell's wrong with you?!" Silver groaned, immediately getting up to glare at the Vampire, slightly taller than himself.

"No, what's wrong with you?" Elikko stepled beside Azura, effectively towering over the two due to his wolf features, he was large.

"What do you mean?"

"Why are you roaming around here? Don't tell me you're here to take one of us." Silver rolled his eyes at the accusation, can't a Grim Reaper make normal friends without having to take them to the afterlife?

"No, I'm not. I was just here to check on Annika, nothing more— I wasn't even about to come in, if it wasn't for Bailey."

Elikko and Azura shared confused glances with each other before Azura spoke up, "You mean Blair?"

"Oh yeah! Her!"

Azura shook his head, extremely dissapointed at the Grim Reaper's memory. "Whatever, if I don't get you clothes, Annika will chew me out."

With that, Azura turned to his wardrobe as Elikko went out after one last threatening look towards the Grim Reaper.

As the door clicked close, Silver turned Azura around with force and grabbed his neck.

"You seem awfully familiar." Silver hissed out with a purple glow in his eyes.

Azura raised one of his eyebrow as he laughed, ignoring the tightening grip on his throat. "Glad to see it wasn't only me."

His eyes turned to a bright red colour as his fangs started lengthening out along with his nails.

"I just can't seem to remember where I saw you." Silver stated, not fazed by the large fangs on his face.

Azura smirked before he kicked Silver's stomach, throwing him away from himself. It was now Azura's turn to grab the Grim Reaper's neck.

He slammed Silver against the wall, eliminating any of his chances to get away. He closed his eyes without loosening the grip on his neck and took a whiff of air near Silver's neck.

"You smell too delicious." Azura panted, unable to pull himself away.

Silver groaned, but worked his fingers while muttering some spell under his breath which made the Vampire loose his grip.

Silver pushed Azura away who fell on the floor, panting out loud. "I'm not your feast. You better stay in line." He warned, leaving the wriggling Vampire on the floor, taking out the first thing he found on the wardrobe and wore it.

Azura looked at Silver with blurred vision from the ground as the Grim Reaper changed out of his suit into a full sleeved grey hoodie and black sweatpants.

He didn't fail to notice the white bandages covering different parts of his body.

Silver walked out, leaving Azura on the floor.

"Where's Azura?" Annika questioned when her friend didn't get out with Silver.

"He'll be out in a minute." Silver didn't looked at any one, he's sure he atleast has three pair of eyes staring suspiciously at him.

But the suspicions turned out wrong when Azura staggered out of the room and plopped himself beside Elikko, throwing a brief glare at Silver.

"You okay?" Elikko whispered, getting a nod in reply.

"I'm fine,"

Everyone's focus turned to the big Television as it started playing the movie which Annika had chosen.

Silver was bored out of his mind just after a few minutes of the movie. A romantic comedy wasn't something he would watch willingly.

Glancing around he found Azura and Elikko already asleep on each other, while the girls were well focused on it.

Maybe he could catch up on some sleep too, afterall, his nights have been ruined most of the time, it wouldn't hurt to nap for a few minutes.

As Silver started to get himself comfortable on the couch without getting noticed, his plan crashed.

"Do you like the movie so far?" Silver was now stuck in an awkward position, where he wasn't slumped on the couch, but also wasn't sitting properly, and it strained his back.

"Oh— oh, yeah, of course! These movies are my favourite!" He felt like a fool doing everything to impress his crush, but he doesn't even have that kind of feelings toward Annika, then why?

"It's good that you like them, Azura and Elikko hate these romantic movies—" Annika paused for a second to glance at the pair, "Look they're already asleep," She pouted dejectedly at the pair.

Silver sat up properly, throwing his idea of sleeping out of the window.

"Oh that's bad! Who doesn't like them!" Anyone would've been able to tell how fake Silver was being, but the lights were off and just the reflection from Television was not enough to read someone's face.

You guys just don't have a taste.

Silver shook his head to shake off the strange voice as Annika gave him a large smile, showing off her slightly crooked teeth proudly before focusing back on whatever was happening in the movie.

Silver's breath was caught in his throat he wasn't able to get back to the movie so normally like Annika.

There must be something seriously wrong with him if he's hearing things in the prescence of a human.

He shouldn't have thought about sleeping at first, now his eyes weren't ready to be on his side and stay open. His head kept nodding and he had to remind himself again and again that he isn't supposed to sleep.

The loud ring of the doorbell rang through the room, effectively scaring the two asleep creatures on the couch.

"Oh! The food's here!" Kiyora jumped up from the floor and quickly ran to the get it.

She excitedly opened the door to get the much anticipated food, but her lips turned downwards she saw it wasn't delivery boy, rather a man wearing a three piece suit, similar to Silver— her eyes widen when she realized who this person might be.

"Who..?" She let out, staring unsurely at the stranger.

"Hey uh, is 206— No A—, wait no." Kiyora's eyes furrowed as the stranger seemed to be whirring his mind as hard as he could.

"Silver!" The stranger yelled out loud, "Yeah, Silver, is he here?"

"Uh.." Before Kiyora could get any answer out, Silver revealed himself.

"J..?" Silver called out with a confusion filled face.

J let out a relieved sigh when he saw his friend but soon was repelled by his appearence.

"What the hell are you wearing?" Silver rolled his eyes, pushing past Kiyora to get to J.

"Be happy that I'm not *****." J scoffed with disgust filling his face.

"Yeah sure."

"Why are you here though?"

Annika peeked at the door, Silver and Kiyora had been standing there for a long time, with whoever was at the door.

"Who do you think it is..?" She wondered out loud, not replaying the movie, until and unless he comes back.

"Are you kidding me?!" Annika's curiosity grew at Silver's panicked and frustrated voice from the door.

"Hey, what happened? Everything alright?" She asked when Silver came back in, but didn't really received the reply she hoped for.

"Huh? Oh yeah, e—.. everything's perfectly fine." Silver let out hurriedly while staring at the Vampire-Werewolf duo.

"You both are gonna help me." Silver stated, not even letting the two deny or agree, but grabbed their wrists and pulled them along. Him being a Grim Reaper came in handy since he was easily able to drag a Vampire and Werewolf, together.

As the door closed, Kiyora came back, taking Silver's place on the couch.

Annika waited for Kiyora to explain what had happened, but when she didn't, Annika asked herself.

"What was that all about?" Kiyora turned to Annika, caught off the guard, she wasn't able to come with an excuse just yet.

"Oh he.. he had some important business to settle." She tried to dodge, but Annika wasn't so stupid.

"Settle what?"

"Something related to his work." Kiyora knew this wasn't helping and she'll probably end up drowing Silver in deep shit.

"But if it was his work, why did he needed Azura and Elikko?" Kiyora stammered on her words, unable to come up with a believable lie.

"I don't know." What the **** Kiyora?! "I don't know.." She drawled out, "..Because.."

"Because what?!" Annika barked out, effectively scaring the nine-tailed fox.

"Because they said it was confidential!" Annika blinked, taken aback by the answer.

"C.. Confidential..? What does he work as?"

"God dammit Annika, I don't know his biography!" With a pout decorating her lips, Annika just played the movie once again, but this time, her mind wasn't focused on the movie, rather on the well-being of a certain someone.

"Stop."

"I said stop!"

"Leave us!"

"Damn you idiot leave us!"

"You \*\*\*\*\*\*\* Reaper!"

"Leave us!"

"Will you shut up?!" Silver growled, still dragging the two along, but they forced him to stop before jerking their hands away.

"What the \*\*\*\* makes you think we will follow you like a dumbass, you idiot?!" Azura glared at the two Grim Reapers in front of him before pushing Silver away.

"Listen, whatever's your name, we are in a bit of trouble and you could be of a great help to us—" Before J could complete his sentence Elikko grabbed his collar and liften him off the ground.

"No, you listen to me, you little slaves. We are not your friends. You can't just pull us out of our house like this and expect us to go with you without any questions. We don't serve someone, unlike you little shoe lickers." Elikko threw the stuggling Reaper on the floor and was about to turn around with Azura.

"Azura, Elikko, please, I will repay you with anything I have, just help us this once," Silver requested from the ground, where he was letting J lean on to him.

Azura scoffed, his eyes turning red, "Oh of course, like we are best friends who help each other."

We are best friends who always help each other.

Azura leaned down closer, "Don't forget that you tried to kill us, in our own home. Who knows what'll you do when we go along with you and your little friend."

"Look, I know we started off at the wrong foot, but if you help us just this once I swear I won't bother any of you again."

The offer was tempting, both wanted that Grim Reaper out of their and their friends' lifes. Maybe they can help him this once..?

"Do you hear yourself, fucker? You don't sound believable at all." Elikko rolled his eyes before turning around, "Let's go Azura." He draped an arm around Azura to take him along.

But before he could, Silver ran up to them and grabbed the collar he could reach, Azura's.

"My friends' life is on the line!" Silver screamed at Azura's face.

"It's just your friend, why are you so worried then? Loosing some of your type will only help the world." Silver ignored Elikko's words and kept his focus on the Vampire.

"Azura, please. If something happened to them, I won't be left alive." Silver was growing impatient with the silence Azura was keeping.

"It won't \*\*\*\*\*\*\* kill you to help someone once you fucker!"

Azura glanced at the Reaper's distressed face, then at the fists formed around his collar, knuckles white and trembling.

"Helping a Grim Reaper." Azura paused for a second, and raised his head to look right into Silver's purple eyes with his red ones.

"I will say it's a pretty deadly deal."
