J let out a shaky breath, he did send his friend over to save the new girl, but now he's not so sure if he did the right thing.
Death's already sour with Silver over his mistake, he just hopes it won't put fuel over the fire.
"Uh.. 207.. what— what was this about..?" 334 asked cautiously, making sure he won't anger his senior once more.
J looked over to 334 with a sigh, feeling bad for shouting at him earlier. "I'm sorry for shouting at you earlier.."
"It's okay, I guess.." 334 spoke, it was silent for a moment before he tried repeating his question.
"What was that all about?"
"I thought you already know about A being the head Grim Reaper..," J shrugged, eyes not leaving Silver's body.
"I didn't.." J let out a light chuckle at the statement.
"Damn, are you sure you've been here?" J laughed more at 334's confused face, before he concluded his teasing.
"Just that, is there no more higher up?"
"There is, after the Head, it's the Assiatant Head."
"I see.. who is it?" J stared at him as if he had gone mad, while 334 blinked in confusion.
"You.. really don't know?" 334 shook his head, looking at 207 with expectant eyes.
"I should teach you this stuff, anyway, it's me."
"Wait, really?!" 207 glared over to him with offended eyes.
"What? I can't be?"
334 immediately shook his head, "No! I didn't meant it that way, I was just ..surprised.."
"Clearly." 207 scoffed.
A blanket of awkward silence was covered over the two once again, being broken by the sound of whimpers leaving the Head Grim Reaper's mouth.
J cursed inaudibly as he turned to Silver, but he was helpless. He couldn't do anything, after all it was his fault for making Silver go after the girl.
In the Death's throne room:
665 panted on the floor, this was the first time she had travelled through the mind to reach Death.
"665, isn't it?" Death's voice was breathy and dreadful, like the last time she had heard.
"Yes, it is."
"I think I heard someone speak the forbidden word, wasn't it you?"
"Forbidden..? Do— do you mean, God—.." Death let out a loud growl, making her whimper from fear.
He pointed his Scythe towards the girl, through which a red ray shot out, firing the girl to the wall.
"My foolish daughter. Did no one told you about the ways you are supposed to live by as a Grim Reaper?"
"N.. no—"
"Do not lie!" Before Death could hit her with another curse, with a bright purple light, appeared the head Grim Reaper. In between Death's Scythe and Reaper 665.
Death lowered his Scythe while staring over to Reaper who stood in front of the girl.
"What brings you here, My child?" 206 glanced back at the girl once to make sure she's alright before turning back to Death and walking further with his non-existent confident.
"It was my fault for not being able to provide Grim Reaper 665 with the knowledge about the Reaper Rules, Death. Forgive me." 206 lowered his head to show how sorry he was for failing Death.
"Forgive me.." Death repeated. "How many times have I already heard this term from your mouth, Reaper 206?" He gulped, Death hadn't called him 'My child' or 'My son' it was 206 now. Death wasn't letting him go this easily this time.
"Tell me, Grim Reaper 206. What did you do wrong this time."
"I didn't return back last night. When 665 was bought in, and failed to provide her with the things she's supposed to know."
"Where were you?!" Death roared, slamming 206 against the wall.
He whimpered from the impact on his back as he slid down the wall, being slumped against it when he reached the ground.
"Failing task after task, is this the Grim Reaper I promoted to Head Grim Reaper, 206? Dissapointing me day after day."
Death reached out his cloaked hand as if it was grabbing something. In a second, 206 was being pulled towards the hand, no matter how hard he tried to escape, his throat fit right in Death's cloaked hand.
Death made him kneel down in front of him, his eyes opening wide and mouth parting from the pressure being applied on his throat.
"I better not hear the words 'forgive me' coming out of your mouth once more. It won't end well." 206 landed beside 665's feet after being thrown away by the Death. He gasped to take in the much needed air.
"Out." As if a large hand pushed them away, 665 and Silver returned.
The same chatter of the cafeteria invaded his ears as he tried to sit up properly on his chair, but groaned out instead, slumping back.
"A, are you okay?" He glanced around with blur eyes, blinking them a few times to clear his vision.
He sat up properly, ignoring the stinging sensation on his back.
"I am," He replied to J before looking over to 665 who now looked traumatised by what she had witnessed. "Are you?"
665 let out a shaky breath before squinting her eyes shut and looking down.
"What happened?"
When she looked up, her eyes were glazed with tears threatening to get out.
"It's all because of me!" She wailed, hiding her face in her hands. As the other three gave each other a look.
"I spoke the forbidden word! And you had to get punished because of me! I— I'm so sorry!" Silver let out a small laugh as he reached out to pat the girl's head.
"You're the first person to feel sorry after getting me into trouble," He chuckled, briefly glaring over to J and 334, who both acted as if they weren't listening the conversation.
"So it's okay, don't worry about it," 665 let out a sniffle taking the hankey that was offered to her by Silver.
"T.. thanks,"
"No worries."

Silver roamed around the college building, glancing towards his countdown, he noticed he had plenty of time before he would have to take the soul away.
"Silver?!"
Now who the hell is calling him Silver— wait, no!
As he turned around, he saw a familiar girl jogging over to him, he stood there frozen until she stood right in front of him, panting.
"What're you doing here?" She asked, looking at him with those big doe eyes that never seem to lose their spark.
'Oh yeah, I was just passing by and decided to pick up a dead person's soul on the way.'
Yeah, he can't really say that.
"I.. uh, I— came to.." He can't think of a reason to clarify what the hell he is doing in a college campus.
"I called him." It was the Siren, what was her name..? Blaine or Blaike or something like that.
"Oh yeah! I came to see— uh ..her."
Blaire rolled her eyes, she could tell that this Grim Reaper can't even remember her name, she should've let his cover be blown.
"Oh.. you have his number..?" Annika asked Blaire who was caught off the guard.
"Huh? Oh no.. We made the plan on that night to uh, get ..coffee..?" Blaire's statement came out more as a question.
"Right! Coffee, I came to get some coffee with ..her."
Silver didn't liked the dissapointement that flashed across Annika's face when he said that, but he doesn't have a choice rather than to go with -whatever her names's- plan.
"Ah, alright, okay then, I should get going, bye!" Before Silver could even say anything, Annika sped walked to who knows where.
Silver was bought back to the reality by a sharp smack on his shoulder.
"What the hell are you doing?!" He protested with a glare towards the Siren.
"No, what the hell are you doing here?" Silver rolled his eyes, once again glancing over to the hologram countdown once again.
"What do you think a Grim Reaper's about to do?"
As he said that, Blair's eyes widen as she looked around before speaking in hushed whispers.
"Is someone going to die in here?" She panicked, still looking around.
"Congrats, you have common sense." As Silver tried to walk away, Blair grabbed his arm and dragged him over to a corner that was away from all cameras and students.
"Who is it?" She hissed.
Silver gave her a weird look before yanking her hand away. "And why should I tell you?"
"Because I have friends here!" Silver once again furrowed his eyebrows.
"You're like," Silver checked her age above her head, "245, why are you in college?"
"Doesn't matter. Just tell me who is it."
"Welp, sorry to burst your bubble. Can't tell."
"But why?!"
"Rules, Siren. Rules."
"This Siren has a name you know."
"Amazing, you want a prize?"
"No you idiot!"
"Then bye."
"Wait!" Blair once again stopped Silver from walking away.
"What the hell you want?!" Silver snapped, his eyes glowing bright purple. "If I'm late to find the soul in this large college campus and it wanders off. I'm gonna throw you in front of Death. Got that?"
For a moment, Blair stood intimidated by the enraged Grim Reaper in front of her, unable to speak at the mention of Death.
"You could've atleast say thank you for helping you out in front of Annika.." She let out in a small voice, unable to maintain an eye contact.
"Thank you very much. You happy now? Now let me—"
Before Silver could complete the sentence, an uproar of students walking around the faculty was heard. He looked at his hologram and cursed under his breath.
...22 years old...
...Louis Williams...
...3:35pm...
Silver wielded his cloak in his hand before he wore it and put his hood on before vanishing into thin air.
"What the—" Blair was left alone in the corner, before she decided to go and check out what had happened herself.
A crowd of students stood in front of the faculty of science, whispering about the scene in front of them.
Blair was left speechless when she saw the boy laying there after falling from the terrace. She knows she shouldn't, but she feels relieved it isn't one of her friend.
"Did you knew him?" Blair let out a yelp, the frequency too high to be heard by the other students standing there.
"Wow. For a Siren your voice sure is sharp." Silver itched his ear as he once again gestured to the student.
"You knew him?"
"No, I didn't.."
"Good then, I'm off—" But Blair grabbed him once again, making him let out a groan. "What do you want now?"
"Annika misses you." Silver's face relaxed as he let out a sigh.
"I can't do anything about that." He spoke, putting his hands inside the pocket of his pant.
"The least you could do is, pay her a visit."
"Yeah and have that Vampire and Werewolf up my throat?" Silver scoffed, "No thanks."
"Oh come on, Azura and Elikko aren't that bad, they're just a bit protective over her, nothing else." Blair tried to reason with tge stubborn Grim Reaper who didn't seem to bdge away from his decision.
Just as she opened her mouth to hypnotise the man, he beat her to it.
"Why?"
"What why?"
"Why are they so protective over her?" It was an easy question, but Blair couldn't seem to answer it.
"Now that you mention it, I don't really know. All I know is, she used to have an abusive father, and that's why she's you know, a bit sensitive." Silver hummed, it was a genuine reason to be protective over someone, maybe.
"Well, that's great and all but I'm still not coming over, sorry." Blair sighed in defeat.
"Well, I guess there's nothing I can do anymore, unless. Why don't you come tonight, Silver."
The same beautiful voice yet again invaded his ears, he found himself being drawn towards it, ready to do whatever was spoken through the melodious voice.
"Hey, A!" Silver came back to his senses when he heard J calling for him, he turned around to find his friend as Blair bit her lips in frustration.
"What're you doing here?" Silver asked his friend who seemed like he had ran all the way.
"I saw you from afar, and.." J took a brief moment to glance over the girl's head, "And this creature."
Blair let out a loud groan, almost ready to kill the dumb Grim Reapers in front of her.
"Oh for ****'s sake I have a name!"
J raised his eyebrows, "Oh yeah, what is it?"
"Blair! It's Blair!" She turned to point a finger at Silver. "You better remember it and," She turned to J with the same expression. "And you better **** off!" With that she stormed off.
"Did I said something wrong?"
Silver glanced at his friend then at the Siren before draping an arm over J, "Don't know." He shrugged.
"Blair!" The angry Siren turned to person who dared to disturb her, but calmed down when she saw who it was.
"Oh, hey Annika,"
"You, aren't with Silver?" She asked, peeking around to catch any signs of the Grim Reaper.
"Oh," Blair cleared her throat and glanced around to buy herself some time to think of a perfect lie. "He.. He had something important to do,"
"Oh.." Annika was left in dissapointment once again, she wasn't even able to ask him about his well-being.
Annika's eyes caught the crowd over the science building as she let out a curious hum. "What's happening there?"
But before she can even take a step forward, Blair stopped her. "You won't like it, let's get some coffee instead," Blair distracted the girl who definitely wasn't ready to see what was happening over there.
Annika being the little gullible girl she is, let Blair take her to the coffee shop.
