HE IGNORED ME JUST LIKE THAT!

The next morning Kshitija woke up to various sounds around her. One of the voices is of her sisters'. Kshitija sit up on the bed lazily and looked out of the window next to her bed. There was a big ground. Youngsters around the area would come here to jog, to play cricket, volleyball, or just to take a walk. It was the habit of Kshitija from earlier to see Ajinkya play cricket with his friends. He never missed a single day when she was here. They were punctual and never missed a day. Whether it is rain or cold,  they would come here to play without a miss.

Kshitija's eyes were red from crying and not sleeping well. She rubbed them slightly and looked at the ground once again hoping to see Ajinkya.

She looked at the whole ground. She saw all new faces and Ajinkya was there not any of his friends. She became more clearheaded after thinking for a while.

' How can a person wake up so early after being wasted a night before'

**Kshira:**Paapu, wake up and wash yourself up. We are going to the temple.

Kira's voice called again to wake her up.

Kshitija got off the bed and took a bath and went out of the room. Before leaving she once again looked towards the ground. She knew Ajinkya will not be there but yet she wanted to confirm it again.

She went to the temple with her whole family. Her father wanted Kshitija to take the blessings of God before starting her new college life.

Everybody went to the temple and Kshitija followed along with them. She was keeping her head down while walking.

"Ahh......!!"

Kshitija cried in shock as she realized that she ran into someones.

Sorr....!

Before she could complete her word, she lifted her head and saw that person. She opened her eyes wide. How can she not recognize him? He was the one she yearns for. But his look made her heartache.

It was Ajinkya but he didn't have the charm that he had before 2 years. His beard was unshaven and unkempt, uncombed long hairs. He looked like a rogue. His shirt was tattered and it was the same shirt that he wore yesterday, one can see mud patches on it. It was clear that he didn't take shower before coming here. His eyes were red. His Appearance is like someone robbed him.

Kshitija felt a sharp pain in her heart. He looked nothing like before. She can't help but curse. Why he has to suffer so much. What kind of heartless girl was she that made him so unrecognizable.

Kshitija wanted to hold his hand, and talk to him, wanted to console him. Before she could make a move Ajinkya walk past her without turning back he ran out of the temple. She wanted to follow him but Kshira called her and lead her into the temple by holding her hand.

Kshitija had no other option but to follow her sister.
