Kaito Ishikawa's POV
"Smile, babe. You will not marry that man because you are going to marry me instead."
"What?" When I told a woman that she should marry me this was not the response I expected. I looked at the beautiful woman stood in front of me. Dios mío, I couldn't believe that she played me for fool in the months that we were together. She introduced herself to me as her twin sister.
What a deceitful beauty.
I took a deep breath, for now I would let it pass. There is now a life growing inside her, I don't want to risk the health of my child by stressing her. So I smiled to her in a reassuring way. "Since you want to give our baby a complete home like I do. The most logical thing we do is tie the knot."
"Are you out of your mind?" She asked as her eyes snapped with fire.
I frowned a little at her response. She was still as feisty as ever, the perfect partner for me. "What makes you say that?"
"Let me remind you, Kaito." She replied vehemently, her eyes shot daggers in my direction. "This is not medieval times when people need to get married just because the woman is pregnant. We are now living in the twenty-first century. People now can raise their child even out of wedlock."
"I'm still old-fashioned when it comes to marriage, babe." I smiled wolfishly in her beautiful face. "I want to raise our child in sanctity of matrimony. I don't want the society to question his paternity in the future once he starts attending school."
She glared at me so passionately, as she put her hands on each side of her waist. The stance that was ready for a battle. "No one will question his paternity because they know that you are his father."
This was what I like about her. The rebellious streak of hers that's mile long and she doesn't want to be cowed to anyone. She was the perfect woman I want to share my life with. A life with her would never be boring. If only she could just see it. "Still, I want him to carry my name."
"You can still give it to him."
I started to lose patience talking to this woman. decided to try a different tactics and attacked her conscience. "Do you want our child to grow up as an illegitimate, Akira?"
"No.." She muttered softly as she looked away from my gaze. "But you might still have legitimate children in the future."
My eyes widened in her direction. I don't think I understood what she's talking about. "What the hell are you talking about? Make sure to explain it well, Akira. Because it seems that I don't fully understand what do you mean."
"What I'm saying is." She sighed heavily and flashes those unreadable eyes to me. "Sometime in the future you might find a woman that you will fall in love with and you will marry her and have your own family with her."
"Do you hear yourself, woman!" I fired at her while she slightly cringed. Did I raise my voice so much? I haven't notice. I was busy preventing myself from throttling that pretty neck of hers. "What the hell are you talking about? Are you drunk? I don't want to marry someone else. It's you that I want to marry."
She looked straight in my eyes in annoyance. "Why, just because I'm pregnant?"
"Yes, damn it!" I run my hand through my hair in frustration. Why is talking to her became this hard? Why couldn't she see that it's the perfect solution? I asked myself in irritation.
"Why are you shouting at me?" She fired at me angrily.
"Do you think you have the right to shout at me? Let me tell you something,"
"I'm not shouting at you, babe." I took a deep breathed, calming myself silently. "I'm just frustrated with our situation here."
She shook her head and stared apologetically in my direction. As much as I want to take her in my arms and put her in my bed and let our body do the talking I will not do that. I want her to see that we belonged together. "I'm sorry, I can't marry you."
"Why?" I asked impatiently, rubbing my temple for my growing headache. "Can you enlighten me, por favor."
Her expressive eyes gleamed in the sunlight it reminds me of the emerald gemstone under the fire. "What will people say when they learn that I stood up the man I was supposed to be marrying at the altar to get hitched with you?"
"They will not say such thing." I told her helpfully. "Besides, we are going to have a baby so it's just a right for us to wed, Akira."
"But-"
"This baby growing inside you will be my heir." I smiled endearingly to her. I know I am making progress with her now. I only need few nudged to have her agreement to my proposal. After this argument ended I will take her to my arms again. I could hardly wait for it.
"Can we stop for a minute here?" She asked frustration. "Things move so fast here. I need to catch up."
I smiled evilly in her path as I started to close out distance again. I could already smell her favorite perfume as stood behind her. "Don't worry, babe. I will wait for you in the finish line."
"Kaito.."
"Yes?" I trailed little kisses through her neck as I touch the slight bump of her belly with my hands. "Can you deny this child his heritage, hmm babe?"
Her breathed was caught at the gesture. I smiled ruthlessly as I continue to seduce her body and mind.
If I want something I always get it. I'm Kaito Ishikawa I could get anything I want in this world. "His Ishikawa heritage is only half, the other half is mine, Kaito. He is also half Satou. We still can raise him together without marriage."
"Do you want us to raise our child living in a different place?" I whispered seductively in her ear that made her shiver as I drew her even closer to my body.
"Tokyo wasn't that far from Osaka." She answered breathlessly, she tried to escape my arms but I would not let it happen. She's staying here in my arms.
"Besides, you have private planes at your disposal so that shouldn't be a problem."
"But we'll going to get tired with that kind of set up sooner or later, babe." I playfully bite her ear as my hand travelled to the base of her ****** that made her knees buckle in the process. "We should be living in the same city but much better in the same house."
"What are you doing?" She asked coldly, as she pushed away my hands from her body.
I smiled devilishly from her back. "Seducing you."
"Stop it, it is not working.” She escaped my arms lighting fast. I smiled in admiration, it seems that in the two months that she's been away from me she learned to refuse my touch. I would give her that credit as no woman had ever made it before. But I will remind her that she cannot reject me again.
"You loved it before when I'm seducing you, Akira."
Her pretty green eyes darkened in my direction. "Don't play with me!"
"Why not..? Oh, yes. Sorry I forgot. Sorry for the slip, darling. I assure you it would never happen again."
She answered me with unladylike curse that made me smile slightly instead of feeling insulted. "Don't you dare play games with me, Kaito. I promise you, you will regret it."
I gave her a self-satisfied smirked. "Ah, still feisty as ever that's what I like about you, Akira. You are equal to me in everything. That's why we are perfect for each other if you could only see it, babe."
"I will not marry you."
I raked her from head-to-toe. I could hardly wait for our wedding night and I want to see her heavy with our child. "Oh yes, you will, my darling. You will wear a white wedding dress as I wait for you at the altar. But we have to plan our grand wedding carefully, it's up to you if you want it before you give birth or after but for now we have to settle to a civil wedding."
She stared at me in disgust. "You've lost your mind!"
I feigned a look of innocence to her. "Why? Don't you like my idea? Do you want the grand wedding now?"
"I told you, I'm not going to marry you."
"But-'
If looks could kill I should be dead by now, from the deathly glare she threw in my direction was enough to kill me in an instant. "I sorely regret the day I met you, Kaito."
"You don't regret it, Akira." I told her cheerfully, I loved seeing the fire in her eyes it's like a jewel glowing under the pit of flames. "Because the moment we laid eyes on each other we're combustible. Remember that day in that club where you dance flamenco so seductively? You have every male's eye on you but you took no notice of them. You just dance there like you don't care about the world and its inhabitant."
The pretty green eyes were now veiled by those thick lashes. "I don't know what you are talking about."
"Really?" I inquired lazily as I moved closer to her.
"Then let me remind you that fateful day I met you, Akira. On how you and I."
"Okay, stop." She held up her hands up like a silent surrender. "I get your point now. You don't have to revisit the past."
"But it's worth revisiting that time every now and then, don't you think?" I contradicted her. "On how fate staged our first meeting?"
"Can we just go back to the issue here?"
I laughed as I briefly kiss her on the lips. "You know what? Why don't we just hit the town? I want to buy something."
She glared at me while my kiss caught her off guard.
Suddenly, I want to laugh as she look like a teenager whose first kiss had been stolen by a guy who bullied her. "I don't want to go anywhere with you."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes!" She pushed me away and run towards the staircase. "You can leave but i'm not coming with you."
"All right," I said to her retreating form. "I'll be back as soon as I can, babe. Wait for me." When she was finally on the second floor of my villa, I smiled deviously to myself. "We're getting married tomorrow, my dear princess."
