Author’s POV

In the darkness of the lonely and cold night, two creatures are in conflict with the atmosphere; their movements chanted the singing crickets.

The ideal body of Nayan is trapped by the fear right now.

"Isn't he the one?"

"Isn't he the one?"

"Isn't he the one?"

These questions keep appearing in her head. She had never thought that the person she had questioned for the past few days is in front of her. And what surprised her even more is that person alive.

"Is my memory wrong or am I not thorough? How come a dead person comes back to life? ", She continued to argue with her own mind while the person approaches her. The strange thing is that the person looks like light.

"What's wrong with your courage The Queen?” Nayan gasped. She really did not expect herself to be in a bad situation like this.

"How could he know my nickname?” She is still trying to convince her heart to realize their true condition.

Then the person moves backwards, the light on his body dimmed slightly. But, one thing that keeps imprinted on Nayan's mind now is

"He is a very handsome ghost". At times like this, she seems to curse herself.

“You moron! Is it the right time to think about that?” she still argues with her mind.

“Well, at least I just need chocolate or manga right now…” well, it cannot be helped since she is actually still thinking about them.

"Aren’t you the ... the ... the one?” That's all Nayan can say. Her usual facial expression that only showed a smile or pissed off because being disturbed now full of tears mixed with sweat.

"COWARD!” The person of the luminous man began to continue his sentence. Nayan tries to move her body back away.

It’s a complicated situation.

“I will eat you alive, you’ve disgraced the tittle of the excellent student because of your real characters”, the ghost just spoke to her with his husky voice. Nayan lost her control.

“Aaaaa……. Don’t eat me please! I know I’ve been faking my smile and characters all the time, but it’s all I can do. You cannot force others to like something, can you? Please spare my life or at least let me read the ending of my favorite manga and eat my chocolate send by my friend. Uh... uh…” Nayan doesn’t realize that she just spill out too much unrelated things while swiping her tears.

She is angry with her own actions. And in her deepest heart:

“What are you talking about dummy? How could you keep bring up the manga? But I really need to read it huhu….”

“Muahahaha….. I thought you are really an interesting girl. But I actually wrong. You are the most interesting girl I’ve seen” The ghost boy suddenly laughs. It is as if his stomach really hurt for a joke.

“Huh?” Nayan suddenly broke down her body. Now she is like somebody watching a person laughs because of a success prank. Now she is like lost for the first time since she came here. It’s difficult to explain what kind of face she made right now. She smiles, while holding tears, her hands still quivering from the shock.

“Hahaha… How could a rabbit that is going to be eating by lion still think about the carrot in its garden? Ha-ha…” The ghost boy is still laughing out of tears.

“Ha? He actually can read my mind?” She starts guessing again in her mind. How many surprise this guy has?

The ghost boy is moving closer to Nayan, He lower his body to face her. Now their eyes are meeting.

“Yeah… I can hear your mind”, He shows an evil smile as well as satisfied face.

“Huh? Is he Soo-Ha Park*?”

(*A name of Male Lead of a famous Korean Drama “I can hear your voice”. He can hear people’s mind)

“Though without it, I still know that since you screamed about it just a moment ago, remember?” the ghost boy smirk again.

“Crap”, she spills it out without thinking. Now, her image to perform the perfect queen is really ruined by an unknown ghost coming from nowhere.

Since the ghost boy is currently changes the mood to be a fun situation and even acts buddy-buddy with Nayan. Nayan decide to speak properly.

“Who are you? No! I mean, what you are exactly?” although her voice still shows her fear, she still try to face the reality she is in instead of running away.

“What else could I do huhu? I just gambled. It’s like I’m taming a tiger”, she cries the heart.

“Guess?” He smirks in front of Nayan.

“Slap”, Nayan suddenly slap the ghost boy with all her strength.

“Wait... what are you…?” The ghost boy tries to interrupt her.

“Slap”

“Slap”

“Slap”

“Slap”

…

The slap continued till the ghost boy stop her hands.

“What are you doing stupid moron ungrateful Queen?” the ghost boy raise his voice. His cheeks become as red as ripe tomato now.

“Hey… I actually can touch you? Huh? This is fun. Come here ghost boy” Then Nayan pulls the ghost boy’s neck and then rubs his hair.

“It is soft”, her expression shows how surprises she is after touched it.

“Of course, what do think you my hair is? Durian?” The ghost boy rolled his eyes.

“Ah... enough with your acts”. He suddenly become a blue light and move back to where he was standing before. Then he shows his body again.

“

Ok...ok… I think you’ve been wondered for a while about me. Let me introduce myself properly. I’m Farys Esotha. An excellent student of Victoria High School”, now the man starts to introduce himself. He is indeed such an excellent student for the perfect gesture introduction.

Instead of directly reply the perfect introduction; Nayan’s body is trembling more than before. Her tears that just stop because of the rubbing scene just now start to fall again. Her eyes become redder. If we describe her, she is really pissed of that man. But she suddenly looks at the poor floor that witnesses her ruined her own image. Now she look at the ghost boy named “Farys Esotha”.

“Hehehe”, a laughing sound is coming from her attractive lips.

What exactly Farys Esotha? And why is Nayan laughing instead of cry again? Let’s find out in the next chapter.
