MAGIC AND IDIOTS

Eiden is probably a boy eight or nine years old or you

can say that he was…recently she started to see this boy around her at random

times. When she first saw him she almost mistook him as some normal kid as she

was in the market full of people, but several seconds later she felt the chill

coming from him and recognized him as someone from the other side. It shocked

her as she can see him while still being conscious. Before that she only saw

spirits or visited sites in her dreams or while she had visions, in both

situations she wasn’t conscious. No matter how many times she had experience

those things it never felt normal while she was living inside them. It was

weird, it doesn’t make any sense and most of all it was scary. Once she was out of them

she can separate herself from them.

She was devastated at the thought that now she can see

all those things while being conscious, it was the last thing she ever wanted.

God has pitied her and saved her from this misery as she came to know several

days later that Eiden is the only exception maybe!

Eiden had appeared around her many times by now, which

got her used to it. Although he never talked to, her he liked to scare her

especially. So April thought of him as soon as she encountered the strangeness

around. To her utter disappointment there were no traces of him anywhere when

she observed. At this point she was scared yet sawed ignorance on purpose and

continued on her path a little hurriedly then before. She was ignorant but

wasn’t idiotic enough to seek trouble for herself by being curious.

'Old series college of higher education' read the big board above the gate in bold

letters in black. Gone was the quietness around her, it was too noisy suddenly

as the first bell rang and many students were rushing in. she saw many familiar

faces in the crowd, her classmates , some popular figures and some unpopular

once too.”April, hii…”shouted a familiar voice from behind her.”Hey, Tia”

replied April in the same enthusiastic tone as her best friend. “April, how was

your weekend? And did you know that Willow from our class is dating David Anderson

from senior year!” said Tia. Shock can be clearly seen on April’s face” My

weekend was fine as far as I knew but you have totally ruined it the moment you

uttered the name of certain dog s**t” April spoke with sullen face.

“Who do you mean Willow

or David? And why?”

“Obviously I am referring

to David, he was the art director for our freshmen party and he also arranged

all the performance, did you get it now?”

“No way, so you mean

he was the one who cancelled your solo dance?”

“Yes, that’s what it

is. I practised so hard and when I was ready for trials he told me that there

is only one solo performance and it is already decided.”

“Let me think wasn’t

Emily the one who performed last time? What it’s got to do with Willow and

David dating?”

“Indeed she was,

think a little harder who is her cousin?”

“Who?”

“Willow and Emily

are distant cousins, at the time of freshmen party Emily was the only other

person competing with me. In the end I wasn’t even given a chance to audition

before getting rejected and I had an argument with David about it and he threatened that he will put a bane on me and stop me from entering any clubs .At that time

I thought why was David favouring Emily, maybe he was into her or something!”

that something was going on between David and Willow from the start? But at

that time Willow was probably dating Oliver since the high school, than did she

cheated on him?”

They both chatted as

they walked towards the classroom. As the two of them entered there was already

an ongoing drama to watch. This college never disappointed it’s students in the

regards of entertainment. There was a crowd of girls and there clearly was some

important gossip being cooked.

“what’s going on over

there?” Tia asked their classmate Lily.

“Don’t tell me you

guys don’t know?”

After this sentence April

and Tia became more curious while they shacked their heads stating they don’t

know.” Let me tell you the rumour that said Willow and David are dating isn’t completely

baseless but it’s not true either!”

Tia got impatient,”

Stop keeping us in suspense, what is it?”

Lily spoke in a

lower tone so that others can’t hear it.” Yesterday evening  one photo was uploaded on the official gossip

page it was one with blurred faces and it was deleted within twenty minutes,

once who had seen it claims that it was David and Willow in the photo judging

by their figures and clothes.”

“What is so

secretive about it?” April raised her eyebrows in confusion.

“Of course it is not

as simple as that, the odd thing about is that they were kissing in the photo

and it was dated about eight months ago when our college didn’t even started.”Lily

explained.

Tia gasped in shock”

Did she cheated on Oliver, oh my god my poor Ollie!”

Lily smacked Tia on

the head” You stop being a fangirl and focus on the issue at hand, it is not as

simple as just cheating and some students messing around among their selves, in

the background were our administration director Mr. Augustine and the principal

of shiniest high school they were doing some back dealing for the admissions, that was

the reason why the photo was taken down.”

April was awed

struck as she asked, ”Are you for real?”

Lily twitched her

mouth” Ask anyone if you don’t believe me! And you know what David was just

fooling around with Willow, while she thought he was interested in her and

broke up with Oliver saying that she is now dating David. But David was hanging around other girls from his class at the same time, in the end all of

this was uploaded by an account called MAGIC on weibo after the photo was

deleted.”

Tia and April were

obviously unable to digest all these gossip and looked at Lily with shocked

eyes.

"Other than that one photo there were no other evidence, but it is most likely to be the truth considering from how Willow and Emily were behaving in past few days."

"Ofcourse those w*t*ches will be very happy after getting the support of David as he is from an upper class family." Tia said unhappily.

April now got the situation," So this was the source of their happiness and proud. No wonder they were becoming more snobbish than what they already are."

Day went very

quickly as the lectures started, break time was filled with the discussion of

the same topic and everyone speculated there was more to this topic than it

seemed. At the end of the last lecture it was announced on college's official page 'Mr.Augustine is suspended on temporary basis and the college will conduct an investigation regarding the issue.'

Official trouble of college ended at that but it was only the start of internal strikes between students.

Oliver was a singer and currently was in training to become an idol,so he naturally had many followers within the college, who refused to back down while their idol was cheated by a w*t*h.

As for the main characters of today's story were all absent from the class. Regardless of their absence they were cursed badly by many. Willow's friend who always followed her around were present today sadly and they had it worse.

The drama was ongoing until the last bell rang and everyone started to go on their own way.

April said goodbye to her friends. She watched the newly uploaded timetable on the college website and marked the date of her vacation

in her smart phone. There was still one month before her first semester was

over. There were still exams, assignments and her dream last night. She needed

to solve all this before her vacation. She was going to visit her hometown to

visit her grandmother. She was looking forward to it.

She didn’t visit her

grandmother and her uncles for the last five years since they shifted to the

city. She was happy just from thinking about it. On her way back to her house

she remembered about the incident in the morning. She mentally prepared herself

to be in expect the unexpected mode. Maybe she was in luck so nothing happened

when she passed the same place again or something did happen and she just didn’t

noticed! Regardless she let go of the tension and stress she was holding in her body and her stiff back relaxed subconsciously. When she was about to reach in the area she lived her phone vibrated

strongly. April thought it is some random notification or email. To her

surprise the screen was dark and her phone didn’t turn on even after trying a

few times.” Oh, did the battery died!” she muttered to herself. As she was

about to put her phone back in her pocket the phone vibrated again! This time

when she looked on the screen it was written in red letters MAGIC below in the

small letters was a longer line ‘are you satisfied or should I punish those

idiots harder?’ she was really confused as to what was happening. Her phone had

no signs of turning on yet there was a message written on the screen.

She tried to press

power but again and again but to no avail. As she was thinking what to

do her phone ringed suddenly scaring her out of weet. Screen of her phone instantly went

back to normal and a name was displayed on the screen ‘My spiritual guide’. She put the

incident to side for a while and answered the phone.

“Hello, Master”

The voice came from

the other side “Did you encounter the woman we discussed about?” came a heavy metallic

voice.

“No, not yet but I

maybe have came in contact with someone related.”

“Good, make sure to

give me all the details soon” with that the call was cut from the other side.

As soon as the call

was cut she thought about the message, what idiots and what punishment?  Was her phone hacked or something!  She started to walk again. She remembered that

she still needed to visit Belinda. She can’t delay the matter any further as

master was involved in this matter.

As she was walking

she suddenly fall down and lied flat on the ground. Blood was coming out

from her nose her forehead was covered in sweat and her body was shacking from

some unknown force inside of her. The only thing she felt at the moment was

pain. She was struggling within for every breath , her eyes shut against her

will.

She heard a voice ,” You should have listened to me” loud

laughter roared in the quietness and she lost the battle for staying conscious.
