Chapter 5

Charlee gets up and walks toward the front door. "I will be right back, I have to go get more coffee." he says in a half angry and half upset tone.  Charlee leaves the house, while Viola gets the pot of water, that dropped in the sink, onto the stove. Casy walks into the kitchen with her mug ready for coffee.

"I thought I heard Charlee?" she yawns.

"He was here but he had to go get more coffee!" Viola says proudly. Casy looks at her confused then goes to the coffee pot and starts to brew her coffee. She turns around and goes into the fridge, and grabs some whipping cream.

"So, what did you do this time?" Casy says unenthusiastic about whats gonna be said next. Viola looks at Casy then looks at the tea pot.

"I dumped his coffee through the drain." she mumbles. Casy talked and waited for Charlee to come back.

"Can I get a black coffee" Charlee says to the clerk at the register. He looks around to see about six people enjoying their coffee. All at separate tables.

"I wish Viola liked coffee, she never even tried it before." Charlee thinks.

Charlee's eyes lead up to the menu above the clerk as he reads through the list of what they were selling he saw they had a new recipe today. It marked:

NEW SELLS - CHAI TEA, GINGER TEA, RASPBERRY TEA.

"OH! Can you make me a Ginger Tea too please" Charlee requests as he looks at the clerk.

"Right away sir!" The clerk says as she marks something down on the computer next to her. "Will there be anything else sir?" Charlee looks at the menu one more time, then looks at the clerk and shakes his head no. "Ok! that will be $6.49 please!" she says with a big smile. Charlee pulls out his wallet and gives her the correct amount of money.

Charlee stares down at the coffee and then looks at his other hand that held the Ginger Tea. "Why did I get this? She is the one who dumped my coffee down the drain." Charlee thought, Charlee gets to the gate of Viola's house and then opens the gate with his elbow. "It wont hurt to give it to her right?!" He mumbles as he shuts the gate behind him. Charlee gets into the house and sees Casy was sitting at the table laughing with Viola. Charlee walk up to them and Viola's eyes catch him walking up behind Casy.

"You're back!!" Viola says as she gets off his seat. Charlee looks down at Casy, and sees what she was drinking in the mug. "Don't bother her she is just drinking her coffee" Viola mocks as she pushes in the chair.

"You have coffee!" Charlee says as he sets the two cups in his hands down on the table. "I bought this for you try it!" Charlee says as he picks up the cup of coffee on the table. "They were selling Ginger Tea today so I bought one for you without thinking." Charlees says as he hands the cup over to Viola.

"Awesome! Thank you" she takes the cup and sets it on the counter, then she takes the the tea pot off the burner. Viola takes the cup of coffee and takes  a sip, then she takes another sip. she drank it down in less then 2 minutes. "This is Ginger Tea?! It's amazing!" she says as she puts the cardboard cup in the trash can.

"No,... actually that was coffee" Charlee says as he grabs the other cup off the table. "This is Ginger Tea" Charlee and Casy start to laugh as they saw Viola smile from the coffee disappear.

Viola and Charlee start cleaning the house for the rest of the day waiting for time to pass by faster so they can go to the shop.
