Chapter 4

"Ok kids it's getting late, it's time for you to get home" the shopkeeper said as he put Billy back on the shelf.

"awww" both Charlee and Viola said while getting up to help with closing the shop. Viola goes up to the front where William was sleeping soundly.

"Will you tell us more of the story tomorrow!?" Charlee asks as he walks up with the shopkeeper.

"William go home, sure but after closing hours we need to keep the shop open tomorrow." the shopkeeper says as he shakes William up. William starts to pack up as Charlee and Viola leave the shop.

"I want to know what Billy said to Belle!" Viola blurts out as they get close to her house.

"Me too!" Charlee says without hesitation. He opens the gate, "ladies first" he says as he bows. They walk inside to see Charlie's dad, Micheal, sitting on the couch with Casy. "Dad!?" Charlee blurts out. "What are you doing here?"

"Well, someone didn't come home on time so I had to go looking for you." Micheal says as he gets up and looks at Casy. "Thank you for your tea, I will be taking Charlee with me." He turns toward the door. Charlee follows behind.

"Wait!" Viola says as she scrambles for words "Can...can he come back tomorrow and spend the night?!" she gets out as she looks at Micheal. Charlee looks at her in concern, then looks at his father. Micheal kept staring at Viola then over to Casy.

"Is that alright with you Ms. Catherina?" Micheal asks in a deep voice. Casy looks up as she could tell that he was serious.

"Yes, we don't seem to be busy tomorrow. We would love his company!" Casy says with a smile.

"Then ok. Young lady remember this..." Micheal then explains why Charlee was in trouble today.

"Goodbye Charlee" Viola says as she waves at him. "Mom you would never guess what we did today!" Viola yells as she runs through the house into the kitchen. "The shopkeeper told us a really amazing story and we lost track of time, but the story he told us was amazing." Casy prepared dinner later that night then Viola went to bed.

Viola went to bed that night more excited than she has ever been. The next morning she got up, put her pink and black laced dress on and ran out of her room and down to the kitchen. There she saw Charlee sitting at the table, and sipping a cup of black coffee. "Ewww" Viola comments as she goes to the sink to get a pot of water boiling. "How can you drink that" she says as she drops the teapot in the sink. "aaahh" as she jumps back trying to not get wet.

"hahah well at least this black cup of coffee wakes me up!" Charlee says as he holds his cup up towards her "if you never try it you will never know what it taste like" Viola grabs the cup and Charlee's face went pale "hey what are you doing?!" he says as he jumps up, but he was too late that black cup of coffee was down the drain. "My coffee!" he says, panicked and upset.

"haha! That's what you get for testing me," Viola says with a bright smile.
