We were walking through the forest on our way to Advalcon, the kingdom where the Eternity Orb was shattered. Orion said she needed to go there to meet a friend, and they had planned to meet in Advalcon.
As we walked through the dense, green forest, the sunlight filtering through the leaves above cast a dappled pattern on the ground beneath our feet. The air was cool and refreshing, and the sound of birds chirping filled the air.
"So, why you don-" I stopped speaking when one of the men punched Orion.
She quickly covered her face with her hand and flew off into the trees. I tried to intervene, but before I could, my vision went black.
I tried to look at my hands, but I could still see them - it seemed like the world around me had gone dark, rather than my vision being impaired. I suspected that this might be some kind of spell that could transport people to other dimensions - the "Dark Special Skill: Dimension Realm."
Every person has their own unique Dimension Realm, but not everyone can use it. As I stood in the pitch-black Dimension Realm, I couldn't see anything except the endless darkness that surrounded me.
My eyes strained to locate the owner of this Dimension World, but all I saw was the emptiness. The air was still and quiet, the only sound coming from the faint whisper of a voice calling my name.
"Kai," the voice whispered, its tone low and hushed.
I turned in the direction of the sound, but I couldn't see anyone. I wondered if they were able to conceal themselves, hiding in the shadows.
But why wouldn't they attack me ?Could it be that they were unable to attack me? I tensed up at the thought, my body instinctively preparing for a fight.
"Where are you?" I shouted, my voice echoing in the empty space.
"Why don't you attack?" I asked, my tone laced with tension.
The person just laughed in response, their chuckles bouncing off the walls of the Dimension World. It seemed that they couldn't attack me, but perhaps they were just trying to buy time while they went after Orion.
"One of our men said that you were dangerous," the man said, their voice dripping with amusement. "He said you have the sword of the Demon Lord."
"You mean, Obscura?" I replied, my voice laced with confusion.
"So, that guy named the sword Obscura?" the man laughed.
"Who is this guy?" I asked, trying to piece together the context of the situation
As I stood in the dark Dimension World, the sound of the person's cackling laughter grated on my nerves. I wanted nothing more than to escape this place and help Orion, but I couldn't seem to come up with any plans. The only way out was to kill the caster, but I didn't know how to do that.
"Out! Luminesce and Obscura!" I shouted, summoning my two swords. They materialized in front of me, their blades glowing with a bright and dark light, respectively. My eyes narrowed in determination.
"What will happen if the Light and Dark are combined?" I asked, trying to bait them into revealing something useful.
But the person just laughed, clearly knowing the answer.
"Light and Dark can't be combined. Never!" They chuckled, their amusement palpable.
I smirked, frustration mounting inside me.
"But I asked what would happen," I said, trying to push for an answer.
"I know they can't be combined."
I was confident that I had thought of a way to expose the person and find a way out of this mess.
"Luminesce and Obscura, Combine," I commanded, determined to find a way out of this Dimension World.
When you use the combine skill with a Light sword and a Dark sword, it creates a massive explosion and shockwave with a range akin to a nuclear blast.
"No!!" He shouted, his eyes wide with fear.
A huge explosion rocked the place, the force of it knocking me off my feet. The man was hit by the blast and I could finally see him. He had been able to conceal himself before, but the explosion was enough to expose him. It's hard to attack someone I can't see, but by combining Luminesce and Obscura, I was able to create a blast powerful enough to expose him.
I ran up to him and he leapt to his feet, ready to defend himself. I lunged at him with a slice, but he jumped back. I called upon luminesce and sent it flying off to my right side as I rushed over to the man, extending my palm in a flat plane.
"Heart Implode!" I yelled. My eyes flickered to a deep red with a hint of black.
In my hand, the man's heart materialized.
"You're done," I breathed and gave him a swift kick, causing him to tumble and fall.
I just needed to take his blood for my Obscura, which was needing to consume the Heart Implode. Just before I could crush his heart in my palm, I had to get his blood to fuel Obscura. The blood of humans is the nourishment Obscura needed and the Heart Implode required lots of aura, but I was unsure if Obscura had enough. Thus, I stabbed him and Obscura began to feast.
"Goodbye," I uttered, as I smashed his heart in my hand.
As I focus my gaze, my eyes shift back to their natural green color and I find myself transported back to the Forest.
"Get back, Luminesce and Obscura!" I scream, waving my hand as I cast a spell that sends my two magical companions disappearing into thin air.
I know that every time I use Obscura, it drains a significant amount of my aura, so I need to make it disappear as quickly as possible.
Feeling a sharp pain, I realize that Obscura has taken a lot more from me than I had anticipated. My hand comes away from my forehead covered in blood.
"Orion!" I yell, recalling the name of another one of my companions.
"Scan!" I shout, casting a spell.
I can see their aura from here, As I run through the forests, my heart pounding in my chest, I can't help but wonder what fate holds in store for us as we pursue the truth about the Eternity Orb.
I continue to follow the auras of Orion and the man as I run through the forests, my heart pounding in my chest. The man in black seems to be moving erratically, as if he is trying to shake off Orion's pursuit. I can sense her determination and focus as she follows him, determined to catch him and uncover the truth about the Eternity Orb.
As I run, I can't help but wonder about the identity of this mysterious master who wants the Eternity Orb. Who are they, and what do they want with this mythical object? The thought of it falling into the wrong hands fills me with dread.
Suddenly, I hear a loud crash up ahead and I quicken my pace, worried that Orion may be in danger. As I round a corner, I see her standing in front of a large tree, her fists clenched and her eyes narrowed. The man in black is lying at her feet, unconscious.
"Is he...dead?" I ask, panting as I catch up to her.
"No, just unconscious," Orion replies, her expression grim. "We need to find out what he knows about the Eternity Orb. Help me tie him up."
I nod and quickly gather some rope from my bag, helping Orion bind the man's hands and feet. Once he is secure, we search him for any clues about his identity or his connection to the Eternity Orb. However, we find nothing on him except for a small, intricately carved pendant with the symbol of the kingdom of Qiulyo etched into it.
"It looks like he may be working for Lord Galen's follower," Orion says, her eyes narrowed as she examines the pendant.
"Reel!" she shouts, and a massive black cage materializes out of the ground.
"Help me, put him in the cage," she says, gesturing to the unconscious man lying at our feet.
I know that Reel is a powerful sealing spell that renders its target unable to use any skills or abilities, even if they are still conscious.
"We need to take this man back to Advalcon and find out more about his involvement with the Eternity Orb," she explains, her voice urgent.
"It's the only way we'll be able to stop whatever plans they have in motion."
"Reel, go back!" she shouts, and the cage disappears as quickly as it had appeared.
I nod, understanding the gravity of the situation. We have to get to the bottom of this mystery, no matter what it takes.
As we make our way back to Advalcon, I can't help but feel a sense of unease wash over me. The discovery of the man in black and his connection to the kingdom of Qiulyo only adds to my concerns about the Eternity Orb. I can't shake the feeling that there is more to this situation than we realize, and that we may be walking into a trap.
