How Fortunate We Are

I put my binders and cloak. I walked to a market and bought some clothes for me, Misaki and Rui. After buying shoes and male hair accessories, I had 7500 gold coins left. I walked back home and saw Misaki making ramen.

I ran and hugged her. "RAMEN!" I shouted, overjoyed.

"Quiet down Li— Ziye. Go get changed." Melissa chuckled.

"Young Master Ziye, I shall prepare a rose petal bath for you and then your sister."

"Thank you Rui." I said.

"Ziye, ramen will take roughly 1 hour to cook."

"Okay, Misaki."

We giggled.

"Young Master Ziye, your bath is ready." Rui said.

"Thank you, Rui."

I removed my clothes and jumped into a refreshing bath. I sank in their for 45 minutes. After I left the bath, I went to my room and took off my robe.

"Lisa?"

"Yeah, Meli?"

"Your clothes."

"Come in."

I put on my bra and underwear.

"I'll place them on the bed."

"Thanks."

"Dinner is gonna be served in 5 minutes."

"Thanks and always call me Ziye. I'll always call you Misaki."

"Okay... Ziye." I put on my clothes and dried my hair. I tied it back and went to eat.

We ate ramen and drank sake. "Thanks for the meal Saki. I'm going to keep guard. Rui and Saki, go to sleep." I quickly put on my binders and put on my male clothes. I took a sword and a gun hidden in my clothes. I stayed sat on a chair by the entrance for several hours until it was 4am. I finally went to sleep on the chair and woke up at 6am.

I stretched and brushed my teeth. I washed my face and did my hair so I looked like a man. I woke my sister up saying, "Misaki, wake up. Get up and get dressed. Here's 2 brushes. You and Rui need to take a bath and brush your teeth and stay home."

I left her room and went to Rui's room, to my surprise she was already awake. She was sharpening her sword. "Rui! Go to Saki's room and one of the toothbrushes are yours. Stay home and protect Saki."

"Em. Where will you go?"

"Business."

I walked to the stables and mounted my horse. "I'm gonna call you Shui. 'Cause you can be like a still pond or a rough waterfall!"

*Shui means water in mandarin

"Shui, HYA!" and we rode out of the village. We went thought the forest and finally arrived behind the market. I tied the horse again and walked to the selling area. As I walked passed several shops, many women where lecherously gawking at me. I ignored them and went to the selling area.

"Can I help you?" Xinhua asked politely.

"Yes, I need to speak with Master Míngtian about the medical boluses and elixirs and how they're doing at the auction."

"Yes I will get him right away."

"Thanks, Xinhua."

He nodded and went to get Master Míngtian. Master Míngtian came and said, "How do you know about the elixirs and boluses?"

"Master Míngtian, it's me. The one who sold you the elixirs and boluses to you. How are they doing, Master?"

"My Lady? That's you?! Come with me. They all sold out really quickly! In total you have 1,000,000 gold coins!"

"Holy moly! This can do a lot for my sister and me!"

I started to cry and cry and cry. Weird thing is emotions. Pain didn't make me cry yet fortune after so much misfortune did. Xinhua hugged me and tried comforting me. When I took a second look, Xinhua was quite handsome and obedient. He would make a great husband.

"Xinhua," I sobbed, "You're so good to me."

He blushed and tried to avoid eye contact.

"Sorry, I'll take my money. Thank you, Master Míngtian."

I took my money and stuffed it in my bag. I left and mounted Shui. I rode back to the village and put Shui in the stables. I went to the market to buy 2 buckets and horse food. I came back and filled the buckets up with water and horse food.

"There you go, boy." I went inside the house and Misaki and Rui Xie weren't even there.

"Rui Xie? Saki? Where are you?"

BEEP BEEP BEEP! 'My beeper!' I thought. I checked it and gasped. I clenched my fists, veins popping out everywhere. "SON OF A BITCH!!!" I screamed. I got dressed in my female clothes and my cloak. I took every weapon I could for me, Rui and Saki.

I got on Shui and rode through the forest. I was so furious, everything was blurry.
