Chapter 2

"Ma'am, your car is ready. Come in," said the maid after I got off.

I went to the dining area where Daddy and Aunt Lourdes were eating with my step-brother, the demon.

"Oh, Diana. Eat now," said Aunt Lourdes. I shook my head; I'm going to be late.

"I might be late, Tita. I'll just take this," I said and just took some egg sandwich on the plate.

"You might be hungry. It's still a long time for lunch," she asked worriedly, and I smiled at her. "No. There is still an exam I need to do a review early because I'm going again," I said to her.

"Is that so? Be careful then. Make sure you eat food later, huh? Do you want to take some food with you?" she said.

"Don't. I'll eat later. Don't worry," I said, smiling.

"She only eats grass for lunch and sandwiches for snacks, uncle," said the demon, who was in front of me, so I didn't notice that I was stopped in front of his chair. I secretly pinched him on the back. How does he know that? This devil. Psh. It's really bad. How I want to kill him.

"Ouch, ****!" He said, making me smirk. Ha. Serves you right, devil.

"Burn your mouth!" Aunt screamed in shock.

"What happened, son?" Daddy asked.

"Nothing. I'm sorry, Mom," said bowing. Bleee, it's good for you. HAHAHAHAHAHA.

"Alright, Dad, aunty, I'm leaving. Goodbye," and also kissed Daddy as well as Aunt on the cheeks. Brenz looked at me and someone said.

"Where's mine?" He asked a voiceless question.

"Oh, you're in the same school, right? Why don't you go with Brenz?" Daddy asked, which made me stop. Damn, we're going together?! He will take care of that. I don't want to keep up with a demon. Maybe someone will meet us at school and see what else to issue.

"Oh yes! Come on, Mommy, uncle will come with me," he said, and I was suddenly surprised, put his arms around me, which surprised me and pulled me, leaving the dining area.

When we got to the garage, I pulled his hand and turned him around and put his arm behind his back.

"O-ouch, ****! What the hell are you doing?!"

"You maniac!"

"What?"

"Don't even try to touch me with those dirty hands of yours!"

"What, I only touched utensils, huh?"

"I don't care! And don't go near me! Especially at the university!" And also walked first to the van with the driver.

"Driver, let's go," I said.

"Huh? Aren't you and Sir Brenz together?" He asked surprised.

"He changed his mind. He said he will go alone; let's go," I said, smiling to the driver, so he nodded and started to drive.

I was smiling until my cell phone rang. So I looked at the caller and saw that it was an unknown number, so I didn't answer and let the call die. After that call, someone texted.

- Brenz's POV -

Damn! Aish! I entered again to get my car keys; I brought it here when we moved. I caught up with Uncle and Mommy while Mom was fixing Uncle's necktie.

I'm not against them. As long as my mom is happy and not hurt, then I'm happy. She was deeply hurt by what that useless man did; that's why I don't really want to love or have serious relationships. It sucks. That's why my motto is "Just **** and leave." I don't want to attach with temporary people.

"Oh, son? I thought you and Diana were together?"

"Ah, I think I would take the car. I will also take Diana with me if possible."

"Sure. Take care," he said as he approached me with Mommy, who is smiling. She also kissed my forehead before leaving the house.

- Diana's POV -

"Dismiss," said the teacher. Hey, it's tiring to think of a formula and solve. Math is our last subject. I stretched first and then started putting the things away. I was about to go out when there's a crowd of people at the door that's blocked by flirtatious fliers.

"Oh my god, what is he doing here?"

"Who is he picking up?"

"Lucky, oh my god."

"Ahem, excuse me," I said, and they started leaving because the woman slightly pushed me, which irritated me.

"I said, make way, or all of you will be reported!" I shouted. They hurried to step aside, and I pushed my way out.

I gasped when I saw it. Who are they confusing? It's just a demon.

"What are you doing here, dirty demon?"

I said, tired. My brain was a mess earlier.

"Oh my god, did she just call him a dirty demon?"

"What did you say?!"

"OMG. She called Brenz a dirty demon?"

"How dare you."

"Try to come closer and rush me. I won't make a mistake and burn you alive." They were silenced by what I said. "And you, what are you doing here?" I said with raised eyebrows. He just looked at me badly and immediately pulled away, which surprised me.

"Hey, you!" He didn't stop until we got to the parking lot. This is again an issue!

"What?!"

"You will come with me. No one will chase you."

"Wha—"

He stopped when someone was calling him.

"Hello?... On my way home... oh, where?... ok." and put down the phone. "Come in," he said, but I stayed standing with arms crossed.

"Are you coming in, or I will carry you?" A threat, so I jumped inside his car, and he followed, then he started to drive.

"Where are we going? This is not the way home?" I wanted to ask, but he didn't answer me and continued driving.

"Hey! What the hell?! You're not going to answer? I'll break this."

"You shut up. Make one more sound, and I'm going to kiss you."
