CHAPTER 4

"MOM! Can you read it now?" "Pretty please.." The twins asked while doing their best to be pleased with me.

Awww.. Look what you did to our children, Love.

"Yes, I will be reading it right now," I said

"Let's settle down, shall we?" I asked

As we settled down in our living room, the twins came closer to me. Melissa settled herself on my right side, while Jacob was on my left. I opened the diary, I saw a variety of my past writings. I flipped over some pages and then stopped on a particular page with a picture attached to it.

"Mom, who's that?" Jacob asked as he saw the stolen shot of me.

"It's me, in my first ever attending a practice match as a manager," I said as Melissa and Jacob took the picture attached to the diary.

The first set of the game continued with MYS leading the set. As I watched the match, I wrote down the details of the game, strategy, strength and weakness of the team and MYS team as well. The further I watched and observed the game, I list down the line-ups of MYS.

Wing Spikers: Linc Harrison (3rd year), Caiden Hart (3rd year), Rhysand Carter (2nd year)

Middle Blockers: Killian West (3rd year), Laurent Santos (2nd year)

Setter: Lorcan Core (2nd year)

Libero: Zander Rollins (1st year)

*WHISTLE*

As the whistle blew, all the players went back to their benches. I gave them their water bottles, I was about to give the water bottle of Levi when a unfamiliar water bottle rolled to my side. I picked it up and then look up for its owner. I got nothing but I will return it later before we go home.

Deja vu? I know this happened to me before

"Ms. Man, do you have something to say?" Coach Val asked as I look to him in confusion with the sudden call out. The others look to me as they wait for my reply.

"If you guys lose, I'm not gonna hesitate to double your training next time." I said innocently. The boys got fired up and some got scared about the training next time.

"You boys heard her, right?" Elias said as he faced the team with a scary aura surrounding him. The boys got scared by his sudden change of aura. The boys went back to the court to continue the game.

"Do your best out there!" I cheered.

After I said that I heard a sudden noise to my side, I ignored and went my focus back in the court. Calvin did a jump float serve and it aimed towards the libero. Unfortunately, the ball went up and Lorcan tossed it to Caiden. Caiden did a cross-court shot but Isaiah received it, and the ball went towards the other side of the net. But before the ball went to the other side, Elias already slams the ball downwards the other side. We first earned the point in the second set of the game. I saw Killian looked annoyed at Elias.

Set 1: 15 - 25 ( MYS )

Set 2: 01 - 0

Let's resumed the second set...and win this set, boys.

"Both teams please line up!"

"THANK YOU FOR THE GAME!"

Luckily, we won the second and third set. It seems like the boys didn't want to double up their training.

After they lined-up, the boys packed up their things and helped the MYS cleaned up the gym. I also helped them too by mopping the floor. As I was about to mop the other side of the floor, Rhysand and Laurent went to me.

"Hey Pretty Girl!" Rhysand said

I ignored him and his flirting tactics

It won't work for me....Idiot

"I already told she will ignore you..ppff" Laurent said as he laugh out loud that caught the attention of everyone inside of the gym. And with that, Rhysand left us both.

"Sorry about that, Rie" Caiden said as he approached us with a apologetic face.

"It's okay, Cai" I said as I resumed mopping the floor. Laurent looked confused at our sudden interaction between his teammate and I. He was about to asked us but we suddenly answered him before he asked.

"We're cousins" Me and Caiden said at the same time. Laurent jaw-dropped about the revelation .

"So that's why you're Uncle Rent didn't want anymore secrets." I said to the twins as they both listened about the story.

"But mom, you said that this picture right here, is your first time managing a team but why volleyball though?" Jacob asked. As I flipped the next page of my diary.

"Because that's how I met him."

"Wait! wait! so you're the Rebecca Marie Bliss, this guy had been talking about like everyday, every minute, and every second?" Rhysand asked after he sulked in the corner of the gym.

"Yes, I think so?" I answered unsurely.

By then, the door of the gym opened wide causing everyone in the gym look at the door, A girl who opened the door. I stared at her for minute, trying to figured out the identity of the mysterious girl. While Rhysand and Caiden letting out a sigh as if they already knew what will happen next. I could hear the team's whispering about.

"She's a goddess, I must say."

"Ask for her number, Elias" 

"Don't listen to him, Elias. I know your loyal to our Ms. Man's friend."

"Who is she?" I whispered loud enough for Rhysand and Caiden to hear. But they didn't answered me as curiosity grew inside of my mind.  The mysterious girl walked inside and went to the direction of Linc. 

"Here, she goes again." Caiden whispered. The girl stood in front of Linc and she clung her hands to Linc's hands, she started a conversation but Linc took no interest to her. As I watched from a far, I felt a sudden pain inside of my chest. Even though, Linc didn't glanced to this mysterious girl, who is still holding hands to him. 

"Hey, are you okay, Rebecca?" Laurent asked after returning from his previous shock. Caiden looked at me worriedly, while Rhysand observing my actions. 

As I was about to answer him, Coach Val called me as they were about to leave the gym. I faced the three males of the opposite team and said my goodbyes to them. I walked fast towards the door, not even stealing a glance to a certain person, and left the gym.
