Chapter 3

Taehyung gasped loudly as he saw a line of beautiful designed carriages before him. To be honest, he kind of had a good feeling that he was going to be in safe hands - live a better life. He noticed some officials had already began departing leaving him confused. A man came walking towards him and tapped his shoulder, startling him slightly.

"Hey I'm Hoseok, the prince's personal caretaker" He bowed, grinning widely.

To say that Taehyung was beyond shocked would be an understatement. He looked both sides pointing a finger at himself to make sure the man was actually talking to him. The man nodded still keeping a genuine smile.

"Erh I believe you're talking to the wrong person sir" He mumbled.

"No, I believe you are Taehyung?"

"Yes sir"

"Call me Hoseok"

"Umm, okay"

"Let's get going, we don't want to keep the prince waiting!" Hoseok exclaimed helping Taehyung up the carriage. He them took a left turn, seating beside him.

"We can take off now!!" Hoseok yelled.

"Okay Sir!!"

Hoseok suddenly cleared his throat startling Taehyung once again.

"I believe you have a lot of questions to ask, please feel free" He assured Taehyung making him feel at little at ease.

"Umm Okay sir"

"The name's Hoseok"

"Sorry"

"So your first question?" Hoseok asked awaiting the younger's response.

"Umm where am I going?"

"Wait..you mean, you don't know?"

"Actually I had no idea, just joined you guys for dinner then suddenly I'm here in a whole *** carriage taking me to God knows where!"

Hoseok stared in complete awe and shock of the younger's sudden outburst.

"The prince gonna love you"

"Huh?"

"U-Uh I mean when did you get so bold, Don't get me wrong I love it, i just didn't know you could talk without adding 'Umm' or-"

"I just suddenly feel comfortable with you, that's all, now the answer to my question." Taehyung said pouting slightly.

Hoseok laughed heartily at the younger's expression, too bad he already had someone he loved with his whole heart, he would have chased after Taehyung.

"Well, as you just saw, you've been sold."

"I'm not dumb for your information"

"I never said that, Now let me finish explaining"

"Okay"

"You see, when the mistress found out how special you were, she decided to put you up for an auction in a strip club" Taehyung gasped loudly when he heard this. His heart shattered into many pieces as to why the family he had loved, despite the way they treated him, decided to sell him to a strip club.

"Well, my lord the king somehow heard about you somewhere and decided to meet you himself" Taehyung raised a brow as he could not remember meeting anyone important as the King.

"You were young obviously"

"But still pretty as ****" Hoseok complimented making Taehyung blush lightly.

"Thanks anyways go on"

"Well, immediately he set his eyes on you, he promised to get you engaged to his son-"

"Huh??!!"

"You're getting engaged to the King's son" Hoseok yelled into Taehyung ears making him flinch, sending a deadly glare to him.

"Let me finish before you talk again"

"Okay go on"

"You spoke"

"Argh fine!"

"Aren't you going to say anything?"

"Haa you spoke!" Hoseok broke out laughing making Taehyung frown in annoyance.

"I taught you said you'd explain!!!"

"Alright!"

"Once the prince set eyes on your picture, he wouldn't stop staring. I believe he's head over heels for you." The older sang in a annoying tone. Taehyung groaned internally, hitting his head against the window.

"So...I'm getting married to the prince?"

"You might, you might not, It depends on the current state of the kingdom"

"What do you mean?"

"The prince if not lucky, would be engaged to our neighboring kingdom's daughter to settle the disagreement between them which has been present since the locian war. You see, our kingdom doesn't want disputes that might divide the people"

"Oh"

"Anyways that's pretty much everything and oh - Come here" Hoseok mummered as Taehyung leaned his ears forward.

"The prince is more handsome than you could imagine" He whispered into Taehyung ears receiving light hit on his thigh.

"You're blushing~"

"No I'm no-"

"We have arrived sir!"

Taehyung's eyes widened when he set eyes on the castle. It had thick long walls that seemed like they were made of onyx stone. Taehyung had never seen anything as mesmerizing as that, he couldn't take his eyes of it.

"Taehyung!" Hoseok tapped him lightly.

"Tae!!"

"TAEHYUNG!"

The younger shook in fright but calmed when he saw Hoseok.

"The hell!!!"

"Looks like the place caught your eyes" The older chuckled lightly, helping Taehyung down the carriage.

"Go tell My Lord The King that the gentleman had arrived."

"Okay sir"

Hoseok glanced, looking back at Taehyung.

"Shall we?"

The younger nodded his head still in daze. He wondered if this was going to be his new home. Hoseok suddenly halted infront of a large gate with two doors that enclosed against each other.

"So now Taehyung, listen to this carefully" The older said staring intently at him.

"The King is awaiting you behind this large gate. Take of your shoes"

Taehyung did as he was told to.

"Now, I won't be there with you since I have important matters to attend to. The prince might or might not be there."

Taehyung nodded still listening to what the older had to say.

"You have to bow before the King once you are at his presence. Please don't question anything he says. I think just nodding will do"

"Okay Hyung" Taehyung mummered surprising Hoseok.

"Wow, you called me Hyung" He said teasingly receiving a light punch from the younger.

"Okay, I should be leaving"

"Thanks Hyung, see you around!" Taehyung yelled waving the elder who waved back.

"Definitely!!"

Now Taehyung was staring blankly at the gates. 'What if I mess up or say something stupid?, Okay Hoseok said I should just nod, but what if he asks me a questio-'

"You seem to have been staring at this door for quite a while" His thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a deep voice.
