What is a Normal Life? Having a happy family is normal. Having equality in every way is normal. Having a life without physical, verbal, emotional or sexual abuse is normal. Having people to support you when you need it the most is normal. My mum always used to say that normal people are content with their usual routines, patterns and social life. But again, everyone's normal life is what each person defines it to be as normal. Everyone has their own normal.

Like a common man going to work, spending time with their family and friends and living a quite life is normal. Then there are celebrities! Their normal can be sometimes pretty much a common man's fantasy but it comes with its ups and downs and limitations.

And then there is my Normal! What do I mean by that? Well my normal was growing up in loads of money but have no freedom. My normal was watching my dad work with different mafias for guns, ammunition and drug lords and always live in constant fear of someone coming after us. My normal was a sheltered and protected life with home schooling because my dad didn't want to risk our lives at any cost. No friends, only my brothers and my parents.

My name is Anika Brielle Cadence. I am 26 years old and am an arms specialist. I work for my dad in designing and working on guns and other ammunitions. I really wanted to study and gain my degree in speech therapy as my younger brother Levi is Autistic but that went out the window. Dad wanted me to learn to work with him so I had to do what he wanted. Not that it stopped me from learning techniques to work with my brother on the side and help him along the way. Also, that was my only chance at freedom when I went to the arms academy for training. I made a few friends, met a guy and had somewhat a relationship. But all that went out the window as soon as the training ended. The guy ran away at a hundred kilometres an hour when he came to know who was. my father My dad is Matthew Cadence, owner of Cadence hotels and resorts for the world but in reality, he deals with guns, ammunitions and drugs for two different italian mafias, The Vintelli Mafia and The Rossi Mafia. The hotels and resorts are a means to wash the illegal money and stay out of trouble.

William is the oldest in us siblings. He's my step brother from my dad's first wife who died soon after giving birth to William. Few years later, My dad married my mum Bronwyn. Then I came along. For a long time, it was me and Will growing up but mum got pregnant when I was 15. She gave birth to our youngest brother Levi who became the center of my world. Will got focused on the business with dad as he grew up and slowly grew distant from me and Levi. I don't know if he's just focused on work now or does he actually hate us? He's been cold towards me and Levi quite a lot since mum died in a car accident a few years ago. He only talks to us if he wants, otherwise we don't exist. I am quite ok with that myself. I keep myself busy with work that dad wants me to do and stay away from Will. Levi is also my main focus and I had rather not create issues with Will over Levi.

Like i said, my life is pretty sheltered or limited. You could even say it's boring. I never had any long lasting friends because I was home schooled. No cousins as my dad was an only child. My mum's family never kept any relation with us considering dad's line of work. But still, I managed to catch the eye of someone.

Daniel Rossi

Daniel is the head of the Rossi Mafia and is literally the general definition of a pig. He's a manwh*re and treats women like dirt. He changes women like we change clothes everyday. I am surprised his d*ck hasn't fallen off as of yet. All that he cares about his business and the money coming in from it. But he's Will's best friend as well. Doesn't pass an opportunity to hit on me even after I have shut him down multiple times. I would rather die as a 80 or 90 year old ****** than to be associated with someone like him

Not that I am a ****** but my life is as dry as it can be. Other than the small relationship with that one guy at the academy, I haven't been with anyone. Where am I going to meet anyone anyways? Then there's him. People call him the devil itself.

Leonardo Vintelli The head of Vintelli Mafia. His father has always been really close friend of our dad. But for some reason, Leonardo and Will never got along as friends. They are what you would call business associates. Leonardo does visit New York for work every now and then. He comes home to see dad. The way his eyes scan me send a shiver down my spine every single time. He's a prominent figure back home in Italy as well and there have been so many stories of his hook ups in media. So, you could call him a manwh*re as well

But there's always something about him that intrigues me.

And that's where it stops. Leonardo has never spoken to me when he has come to see dad. He's cold, straight forward and a ruthless man so I would rather keep away from him. Levi made a silly joke once saying Leonardo likes me and keeps staring at me every single time he's here but I brushed it off. Not like, a man who's so hot and sexy like him will ever be interested in a boring person like me. It's a regular Sunday morning but nothing like a family would enjoy it as.
