Bell blushes and stares up in silence as he has had a crush on Emily for a long time.
Bell
Bell is a benevolent being, so Bell forgives you.
Emily
Yes, Your Highness. 😂😂
Emily hugs Bell and kisses his forehead.
Bell
Wh-what are you d-doing?
Bell is short and so, his eye meets her chest.
Emily
Come on, you should be used to this by now.
Bell

By the way, why were you running in the first place?
Emily
Sorry, Bella. I've got to go.
Emily

Bell, disappointed at the site of Emily leaving, whispers to himself.
Bell

Emily arrives at her class.

*panting* So glad... I could... make it.
Carl
What has got you panting like that?
Emily
First of all, Hi Carlton. Please don't scare me like that! And also, you know I do NOT answer to that name.
Emily
Second, I had an idea.
Nick was following closely behind to ensure that Emily wouldn't injure anyone.
Carl
And you didn't stop her?
Nick
You and I both know that there is no way to stop a charging dragonoid who weighs 2-

Emily
FINISH. THAT. SENTENCE.
Emily
As I was saying, before I was so rudely interrupted,
Emily glares at Nick and turns back to Carl.
Emily
I had an awesome idea.
Emily
Seriously, Nick tell her!
Carl
Go on. I'm listening.
Nick proceeds to briefly discuss Emily's idea and everything else that happened.
Bell
That's a really great idea Emily!
Nick
Bell, please stop erasing your presence.
Carl
Yeah, I almost had a heart attack.
Emily pounces on Bell and hugs him.
Emily
You guys, you know he can't help it. He is after all, a Shadow Meister of Darkness. It also doesn't help that none of us switched the lights on.
Bell
*blushes* T-thank you Emily.
Bell says this while looking down on the floor, as his skin turns beet red.
Emily
What's wrong Bella, are you feeling OK?
Carl and Nick smirk at each other and then at Bell, because they know that he has a crush on Emily.
Emily is incredibly dense in the love department.
Emily
Well, to kill this awkward silence

I will now proceed with my AU (alternate universe) theory on Ryouma Takebayashi from "Kamitachi ni Hirowareta Otoko".
The three take up seats in the classroom as Emily struts to the front to continue with her story.
Emily
Now, please bare with me, as I'm going to be bringing in a lot of facts.
Emily
Our MC is 11 in the original. For my story, we will start at when he got transferred into the world. Instead of 8, he is brought in as a 7-year-old.
Emily
Ryouma instantly recognizes that he has died. However, he is at peace with the world.
Emily
That is, until he finds out how he died. On Earth, he was finally being recognized at work and was about to receive a promotion.
Emily
His junior, who was also competing for the position, hired a hitman to poison Ryouma to death. Ryouma was genuinely happy for his junior and hoped that one of them would get the position.
Emily
Although angered at first, he was more saddened as he truly thought he had made a good friend. One who he had even introduced to his mom before her passing.
Emily
After lamenting for a while, Ryouma calmed down and asked what he was going to do from then onwards. The gods talked about everything, knowing he is an otaku.
Emily
He is pleased with everything and generally excited to start afresh. As he is being sent off, the gods tell him that they will be watching over him and as they know how hard it has been for him, they wished him a happy life.
Emily
Ryouma was finally reincarnated as a 7 year old in a body that was specially made for him. He was dropped in a forest near a village and was excited about making contact with the people of his new world.
Emily
After learning the basics from the book the gods gave him, Ryouma started his journey towards the village he saw in the book.
Emily screams loudly for help.
Emily
Yes! You get me. This is why I love you.
Bell blushes and quietens down, while Nick and Carl slap their heads because they understand that Emily only meant it in a platonic way.
Emily
Ryouma noticed some goblins attacking someone, so he rushed to rescue the person.
Emily
After putting the person to sleep, he fought the goblins with a tree. He was, however, seen by a small child that was hiding.
Emily
After taking care of all the goblins, he tried to wake up the person he put to sleep, but was instead apprehended by the villagers that the little child summoned. They hid behind the bushes and trees until the battle was over.
Emily
The villagers that were called were astonished to find a child, no more than 7 (Ryouma), take care of a pack of 30 goblins. They waited until he was truly exhausted to capture him.
Emily
Ryouma was bound with chains and taken back to the village where he was locked up in an underground cellar. Thus began years of grueling torture and abuse.
Emily
He was made to carry out tasks in the village that no child would have been made to do and that no adult would have done alone.
Emily
Ryouma cleared waste from houses, hunted for food, foraged for plants, and cared for farmland and animals. He pulled carriages and carts, welded and fixed tools and weapons, worked the mines alone, and basically did everything in the village.
Emily
The adults ignored his existence, and the children were not allowed to interact with him. Ryouma was given nothing, so he had to forage his meals while hunting for the village. He fixed his clothes with rags and whatever spare materials there were.
Emily
Ryouma did this for 3 years before escaping the village. He ran as far and as fast as he could to where he first arrived in this world.
Emily
After finding the cliff, he dug it out and made a small cave for his home. With his magic and understanding, it was easy to create, as well as conceal it from others and blend it into its surroundings.
Emily
Ryouma started taming monsters from the time he settled in the cave -

I have a question to ask though.
Carl
Why was he unable to escape for 3 years if he was already strong?
Nick
After escaping, shouldn't he have taken revenge on the villagers?
Bell
What about his skills? Wasn't it a world of swords and magic?
Emily
To answer Carl, Ryouma was poisoned, so his skills were blocked and he was weakened. It took so long because his body had to naturally gain resistance to the poison.( instead of with a "Poison immunity" skill)
Emily
Because his skills were locked, Ryouma had to do everything with sheer strength. Thus, once immunity was gained, all the skills and levels owed to him by the gods were given to him.
Emily
To answer Nick, at this point in time, his body still had the minding( reasoning) of his former( adult Earth Ryouma) self and felt that the law would deal with them. He also didn't want to be branded as a murderer and be hunted down and/ or killed.
Emily
Ryouma also assumed it was his fault for getting caught and that anyone could have done the same if they saw a sight that was too bewildering to imagine.
Emily
As for my adorable Bella, I mentioned earlier that Ryouma was poisoned. His skills were being updated but he had no access to the benefits of his base skills or skill buffs.
Emily
Which is why after escaping, the first thing Ryouma did after creating his home in the mountains was to prepare enough food for his slimes( and himself) and then go into hibernation for 3 months to reduce the pain from instantly jumping levels.
Emily
Ryouma also taught his slimes physiotherapy and how to clean his body. After his 3 month coma, Ryouma was bedridden for 2 months and had to be tended to by his slimes. He also had therapy to relearn walking and other things to get himself adjusted to his new strength and abilities.
Nick, Bell, and Carl were in shock because Emily made a story that was actually good, a story that they all genuinely enjoyed.

It took 6 months for Ryouma to recover, and a year and a half for him and his slimes to adjust to living in the forest. This included combat training, appraisal and processing of materials, and the search and alert functions.
Emily
Now 12, Ryouma spent his days creating strategies for the case of intruders while his slimes were hunting for meat and foraging for fruits and herbs. Ryouma also prepared meals, fixed up his cave, tamed more monsters, and scouted the forest using his tamed animals.
Emily
Although strong enough to hunt on his own, Ryouma let his slimes hunt to increase their base skill levels. This was also due to the fact that he was too paranoid to deal with anything other than the safety of him and his slimes.
Emily
One day, alarms in 7 different directions go off and Ryouma set out to deal with them using clones projected from slimes. He was shocked instead to see people abandoning their children, as well as starving orphans who had wondered the forest for so long that they are nothing but skin and bones.
Emily
While each clone conversed with each child, Ryouma sent out his familiars to find the people who abandoned some children and neglected the rest till they reached their current state.
Emily
Realizing that some children had instead wondered in on their own and others were happy to be abandoned, Ryouma's rage turned to pity as he ventured into the slums to find other children. Utilizing his familiars to project clones, he asked the children about their predicament and if they would like to leave their sorrows behind and live with him.
Emily
Some were skeptical, while some accepted his offer. His slime(a king slime that shrank to the size of a pebble) lead the children, using his projection as a guide towards his home. To those that stayed behind, he already informed them to answer that the angel had come to take the neglected children to paradise. He then wiped their image of him and replaced it with a 4-year-old angel.

In total, Ryouma had gathered about 50 children from the slums. Including those that sounded the alarm, he gathered a total of 60 children all aged between 4-month-olds and 10 years old.
Emily
Ryouma introduced himself, a buff and tall 12-year-old, and told them of his story, his blessing and how he had gotten there(the cave/ forest). After which he asked each child to introduce themselves.
Emily
After feeding the children, he cleaned and healed them with magic and showed them to their beds. He reassured them that they would discuss more in the morning.
Emily
By sunrise, Ryouma had gone out for his morning exercise. He left some slimes to hunt and process meat, some to forage fruits and herbs, and a few others to make clothes for the children. After cleaning himself, he began to prepare food for the children with the ingredients the slimes had gathered and prepared in the morning. The children woke up because of the heavenly scent of food that was being made.

Ryouma sat them down on the bench he made using earth magic and provided them with food, along with cutlery and utensils he spent the night making.

After the first bite, the children started crying. They had not eaten in a very long time, and a majority of them had never tasted meat before. Milk and gruel were provided for the babies and toddlers.
Emily
After eating, he provided the clothes that the slimes made and separated the children by gender so that they could change. He cleaned and healed the children again.
Emily
By the time everyone was dressed, the sun was setting. He made dinner for them and read a story for the children before sending them off to bed. By the 2nd morning, he had another talk with the children.
At this point In time, Carl, Nick and Bell had forgotten themselves and were fully immersed in the story.
Emily
Ryouma explained that they would have to look after themselves and fight for themselves, but they would all be under his protection. That was the beginning of his clan(creation of his family). Over the next 3 years, Ryouma cared for, protected, and taught the children in his clan about life, the world, education, magic, and dueling. It was by no means an easy task.
Emily
They were like a military organization consisting of children. They had also grown by almost 10 times their size and became a clan with over 500 children. It was essentially a small community where Ryouma was the leader, the older sibling and the parent mixed in one. It was hard for him but he pulled through.
Emily
One day, a 10-year-old child who was foraging for herbs in his sector of the forest was returning to the Cave when he heard some noise in the bushes. He followed the sound and discovered a group of people. They were dressed in rich blue clothing and seemed well-kept. He noticed that there was one injured man.
Emily informs the 3 that all the children can speak the common language, but they speak the special code aka Japanese for high in command and English for everyone when together.
Emily
The child said, " Do you want some help?" in English. He then reached into his bag for a potion. ( it is a rule to use English when talking to outsiders and then switch to the common language if they are determined to be good people. )
Bell
Wow, the class is over. I didn't even notice.

There is no need. Please evacuate immediately as there has been an accident in the chemistry lab. It released a hazardous gas that is slowly making its way downstairs.
Emily
Yes Sir, we will leave right now.
The 5 of them, including the unknown man, take the emergency chute down to the ground floor and head to the muster point.
