The contrast between between Ze and Weibing was like heaven and earth, all clear to Mother Liu when she sat opposite to Lun and his rumoured date.

Mother Liu could tell right away, Weibing was everything Ze was not.

The moment she took her seat, she cast a glance at Ran as if asking him with his eyes,

Thinking all that Mother Liu's mood turned very sour to the point that she didn't find any interest to pry about them any further. Until Shuangze arrived and was brought to their table by a waiter who was totally losing his cool at the mere sight of Ze.

Ran was totally caught off guard for a moment, he never had thought it would turn out this way.

On anyone's view, it would seem like he was making it official when he brought Weibing to eat out with his mother.

And on top of everything, he didn't want Ze to think of that, he hoped Ze would understand and figure out that Fang Weibing was just a cover up to not go for arranged dates.

While sitting smoothly beside Mother Liu.

Mother Liu chastised her, acting angry out of her age, which she always did towards Ze.

Don't scold me..., I cancelled all my afternoon schedules, just so I can make time as per the Excellencies request. I swear I sped off in lightning speed cause I missed you so much.

Ze said very seriously, making Mother Liu's heart emotional.

All right, all right, I've already ordered your favourites

she said deciding to drop the matter.

That is another thing... but mom... why did you call me here. We could meet up later together..

Ze said glancing at the two people in front of her.

It seems your busy. Ze continued.

Oh right, I'm so forgetful nowadays, I was meeting up with Ran and his ... uhm... date. And I was wondering it would be such a good thing if you get to know each other.

which she could clearly know why.

Ze was thinking how Ran should actually give him some reward on helping him out willingly.

Besides there is nothing more than happiness and... true love. I know Ran ge

She continued and looked at Mother Liu cheerfully.

Mother Liu sighed at how good she was with her words and sigh at how correct she is as well.

Then their order arrived, Ze told the waiter who was blushing mad to bring her the restaurants signature wine,

with which she made a toast to Mother Liu alone for her health and longevity.

While she was eating away happily Ran was wondering why she was meddling in his affairs although she was actually helping him, even though it's an act.

It wasn't like Ze at all, to help him willingly, and meddle in. He had to always give her heads up and orders beforehand if he wanted a hand. This was totally unexpected.

And he was no doubt prying into it a little more since he wasn't happy at all with her help. Displeased at the thought of meaning nothing much to Ze.
