Continuation of Turn Of Events

Their gathering was eventful and the atmosphere had been really good.

Neglecting the part that Weibing find it really hard to keep up with the others.

When they reminisced about their teenage school days and how their business and careers are doing.

Midnight almost struck and most of them were quite drunk already with the amount of shots they take.

However Ran along with Weibing, Mark and Ze were just at the point of getting tipsy.

When they were strating to decide to end the gathering, Casper brought up the topic of another hang out while Ze was with them at the next coming days.

Ze till when are you staying here. Well I'm asking Mother Liu to throw a barbecue and a get together. Don't think of turning it down. Casper said.

The atmosphere getting lively again at the mention of another official get together.

Everyone then nudged Ze and Ran to agree with it.

Aiya... you guys, you know I can't turn down Mother Liu at all cost. Ze replied with a genuine smile.

He was busy with no ground of discussion, but for some reason he wanted to pull some time off while Ze was here to know what exactly was going on with Ze.

She had been quiet for the past 4 months with no contact at all, and now she didn't even tell him she was in Beijing.

Ze finally decided to go home.

Everyone 'Aww...' and teased Mark when he immediately offered to drop off Ze.

Mark was unfazed, they knew he was into her a long time ago till date.

Then Casper out of the blue asked before they left,

Isn't it more convenient if you go with Ran, Ze...

He asked genuinely curious on how it would save time and energy. Since two of their friends were dead drunk and wanted Mark's help.

And that all of a sudden finally made Ran realised, Ze wasn't even lodging at their house at the time. Which give him a rush of realization and ridicule at what Ze was actually doing. And now he was fully focussing on Ze waiting for her answer staring at her straight as if he was trying to burn a hole on her face.

And Ze after seconds had to reluctantly tell them that she had bought a penthouse, after cussing at Casper a multiple times in her head.

Oh that... I bought a penthouse a few days back since we are branching out here... she said avoiding Ran's heated glare from the side.

Casper cheered,

Ay.... That calls for another partyyy

Ze rolled her eyes at him and said,

Ok... I'm going Goodnight...

And speed walk out of the bar with Mark following her along. Before Ran had a chance for further inquiry.
