I woke up, at least I didn’t have a nightmare this time. I stood up and went to the bathroom. I brush my teeth, paying quite the attention to my reflection in case anything appeared there, thankfully, nothing appeared.
I took off my clothes and stepped inside the bathroom, I closed my eyes, feeling the warm water. Just then, the water became cold like freezing and I immediately opened my eyes, some of the water caught inside my eye which stings a little bit.
I turned off the water quickly, it was the start of autumn season, so things felt much more chilly and cold. I got confused, I was extremely sure that I used hot water and that I didn’t even touch the switch afterwards, like at all.
I sighed, I rotated it to the left side and turned it on, water started pouring again. It started to feel warm, just the way I like it. I sighed in relief as I started using the shampoo, scrubbing my head, coating it with the shampoo as I turned off the shower.
After much more scrubbing, I turn the shower on, being careful in case it’s gonna take time to adjust again to the temperature that I wanted like before. After being sure that it suits to my liking, I hummed softly while scrubbing my head again, erasing the shampoo foams with water.
Just then, the temperature became scalding hot, I screamed and opened my eyes but the shampoo foams got in and I had to close it again. I tried waving my hand around quickly to feel the tap so that I could turn it off, I hit my shoulder to the glass door due to being startled and I hissed in pain.
My hand was definitely burned with the pain that I felt whenever I tried waving my hand forward and the scalding water came in contact with my hand. After a few tries, I was able to turn it off, I rotate it to the middle and although it’s a little cold, it’s better than to get burned.
Soon the foam got out of my eye and it didn’t hurt as much anymore. I opened my eyes slowly and carefully and sure enough, my hand was burned. It stings a lot but I was able to endure the pain.
I decided to clean off quickly in the shower and went out shortly. I applied medicine and wrapped my hand with a bandage. I decided not to practice ballet using my right hand today, I don’t want my hand to get any worse anyway.
There’s still 3 weeks more for me to practice, it isn’t too much time, but it isn’t that short either, so it’s okay. I practiced throughout the day, making sure not to overexert myself so that I won’t get sick or anything and trying some new moves I clearly still can’t do.
The day passed and I decided not to take a bath, slightly traumatized with earlier events. I went under my blanket and slept. I managed to sleep for about 5 hours, but that’s it. I went to sleep at 9 pm and it’s 2 am soon to be 3 am now.
I sighed and groaned, flipping over my body again, although it’s getting too hot with me moving too much. Feeling too uncomfortable, I sat up, then I stood up. I decided to take a sip of water, maybe it’ll refresh me a bit and calm myself.
I walked outside and opened the refrigerator, I took a bottle of water and drank it, I could hear the swallowing noises I made on purpose. Feeling more calm and fresh, I place the bottle in its original place.
But then, I felt a chill of wind behind my back, out of reflex, I turned around, there was no one. I felt shivers, getting scared as the room started to feel hot again. I gulped down my saliva as I moved my eyes all over the place, scared.
Then I felt a hand on my shoulder, I looked at my right shoulder and the hand had long nails, long ugly nails to be specific, the nails aren’t pedicured and messy. Then I look back, it’s the woman again, she smiled at me creepily, I screamed and ran to my bedroom, locking the door and hiding under the blankets.
I zipped my eyes closed and I felt the blankets being thrown, supported with a soft thud. I felt nails crawling up my neck and she choked me, her nails poking my neck harshly. It was extremely painful that I screamed while holding her hand, gasping for air as my eyes were still closed, too scared.
I felt liquid flowing as I held her hand, hitting it weakly, not having enough energy but needing air, oxygen. Just then I realized it was my blood, with her nails digging into my throat.
…
I gasped for air as I woke up. It was by far the worst nightmare ever. Sweat rolling down my chin as I still gasped for air. I sighed as it was a dream but my feelings remained the same, scared.
I decided not to do anything today, no practicing ballet, no showering. I decided not to do those two things today to be specific. I ended up playing on my phone the whole day, eating a certain amount of food as I need to keep my body slim for the upcoming competition.
I was scared to sleep but I ended up doing so anyway..
