Terror
I saw my children not getting along,
Thought they would make over soon,
Left them to grow on their own,
But now I know, I was wrong.
My children were fighting with one another,
I could feel their pain as my own,
Kept quite, it's not bad to learn,
The world is harsh, It's wise to be strong.
They were attacking each other, killing intention,
Saw flow of the river of their blood,
Some were lying dead, some crying for help,
I heard them, but I wasn't in right sense.
Regretting, I might have stopped them in time,
I couldn't see so, closed my eyes,
Did my best to bring them back in control,
Efforts in vain, tried teaching a useless mind.
There eyes with fire of revenge, turned me to ash,
My heart in hopeless situation was torn,
I couldn't have myself choose one of them,
My love was betrayed forever then.
Hey!! It's me your dearest author. And this is my poem 'Terror'. Its speaker is our one and only mother earth. Hope you like it.
Song of Nature
Everything still no one alive here,
As the hot breeze arrives,
Dry leaves dance, but tree is there,
It's the song that's in my ears.
The sound of breeze cool and clam,
Season of death, beautiful to look at,
My ears, listening to their song,
Sweet melody of that rhythm.
'Chirp....chirp.... ' It's the little one,
The loud 'Cock-a-doodle-doo'
Mixed in drumming of woodpecker,
It's the song my ears favor.
Believe me, when I wrote two of these poems, 'song of Nature's and 'The movie of my life', I was bunking my classes. One side I had fear of getting caught and another to write these as I saw empty playground of school from hostel's dormitory.
The movie of my life
The moving land, slow down for me
In a hurry, don't break down please,
Pause for a while then continue,
Give me, the chance to be free.
It looks so unreal,
Like a movie fast forwarded,
Forget about the living ones,
Even statue can move here.
I don't have much to write for now and am just writing to complete 500 words to update this chapter. Well, please forgive this lazy author of yours who is usually busy in reading others work then writing her own.
