In Brilliance City, In the misty forest there was a young man training and an old man who drink his wine while watching.

“Paul Andrei stop training and lets go home its almost time for your work and don’t let that little lass worry.” The old man said while drinking his wine. Paul Andrei stop training and change his clothe to a new one.

Paul Andrei is a 13 years old and very handsome guy with red hair and scarlet eye. He was a quiet person if not for his handsome face he would likely ignore by his classmates and also because of this that he was very hated by some boys because many girls attracted to his face.

“Master do I have enough money to buy the elixir to heal Sophia” Paul Andrei ask. Sophia is Paul Andrei little sister. Sophia is 8 year old girl and a very beautiful girl with her deep blue eye and azure hair. 2 years ago their parent die without any reason and even after 7 months of investigation the authority found nothing about what happen.

Since then Paul Andrei and Sophia is living under their master even though he was a drunkard but he was kind for both of them and teach them cultivation technique in order to survive but 2 months after living under his care he discover that Sophia and Paul Andrei had special physique after reading some ancient book it he found out that Sophia had Absolute Ice Physique and Paul Andrei had Primordial Fire Physique both are very special and powerful physique but there is a downside that is every 3 days they both feel cold and hot that is unbearable that’s is why Paul Andrei saving money to buy a elixir that the old man tell him.

“No, its still not enough but don’t worry I contact a friend of mine to help us acquire the elixir to solve your problem.” The old man said.

After that they both return home. After they return home and said goodbye to Sophia and the old man Paul Andrei then wear a mask then go to Adventure Guild to take some mission so that he can earn money at the same time he can accumulate some experience.

Paul Andrei then decide to choose his mission in bulletin board when one of the adventurer walk towards him.

Adventurer divide into S, A, B, C, D, E, F, and G and the lowest is G rank. Currently Paul Andrei is an F rank adventurer.

The adventurer walking toward Paul Andrei is also an F rank one. Simon is his name and he is one of the rising star adventurer in Brilliance City.

“My friend ‘Python’ can we have a small chat” Simon said with a smile.

“No, I’m busy. ” Paul Andrei said.

“Ok, Sorry for disturbing you” Simon said with apologetic expression then he walk with his party.

After some time Paul Andrei decide to 3 hunt horn rabbit which is rank F mission. After he talk with receptionist about his mission he then exit the Adventure Guild.

“Simon, when will we teach that bastard a lesson?” a young man said.

“Right now. Dare to be arrogant in front of me you will pay the price” Simon said coldly.

It take him half an hour to find and hunt the horn rabbit, When he preparing to go back to the city Paul Andrei see Simon give out killing intent. Of course Simon was not the only one who arrive he bring his party with him.

Knowing the situation Paul Andrei attack Simon without second thought. Paul Andrei already at half a meter close to Simon then Simon then draw his sword and attempt to slash Paul Andrei but Paul Andrei was so fast that he miss and Paul Andrei punch his chest and Paul Andrei fist is flaming sending Simon flying without giving Simon to think Paul Andrei draw his dagger then close his distance between him and when Paul Andrei close enough that he able to cut Simon throat causing Simon to die.

It happen so fast that Simon companion didn’t have any time to react and Paul Andrei using this period of time to run back in the city and then report them. 3 months ago there someone who report that an adventurer trying to kill another adventure to for unknown reason and the culprit had been caught since then the Adventure Guild let all adventurer no matter what rank he or she have to wear a badge. This badge is an artifact that the Adventurer Guild commission to Blacksmith Association to make in order to prevent the accident to occur. The badge had only one function is that is to record . Since its new policy many adventurer not know this artifact and Simon and his party is one of the fellow who didn’t know. Thanks to the artifact Paul Andrei can report to the authority without problem

The problem right now whether he can go to the city or will he run out of energy. Paul Andrei cultivation realm is low and killing Simon did cost him quite a lot of energy and his stamina.

Paul Andrei also took another badge the same size as the other one but this badge had function that is too make noise as loud as possible which is a double edge sword. He indeed can manage to attract attention to help him but he also let his enemy where his location because of sound. That’s why even knowing the con he didn’t care because his location and the city is not far and even though it starting to dark this is also where many adventurer returning so Paul Andrei chance of getting help is higher.

Paul Andrei didn’t wait long enough an D rank adventurer heard the sound and investigate and saw Paul Andrei running and his back is Simon party that giving out a killing intent knowing this he called his party and the other to help Paul Andrei.

With their help Paul Andrei manage to escape and Simon party who only F rank didn’t last long enough against a party of 7 consist of D rank adventurer. The D rank adventurer arrest Simon party and hand it over to the authority and with Paul Andrei badge that record what happen there’s no doubt that Simon Party will remain in the Prison for quite some time after that Paul Andrei then give thanks to adventurer that help him then return home

After returning home he saw Sophia which already sleeping waiting for him in the living room with no choice he carry her toward her room and let her sleep comfortable he then eat his dinner then told to the old man what happen and knowing what happen old man decide to teach some movement technique to Paul Andrei next Saturday. The next morning Paul Andrei and Sophia go to Brilliance Academy. After arriving to the school gate both Sophia and Paul Andrei. Paul Andrei meet his two best friend that is Kylle Castañeda and Kurt Dulatre.

Kylle Castañeda is a 13 years old handsome guy if not for the fact that he is fat their would be many girls try to attract his attention. His parents renowned for being great chef in the empire if not for the fact that his parent like peace and quite environment Kylle would be live in capital. His parent own the restaurant called The Hive Restaurant.

Kurt Dulatre is also a 13 year old handsome guy only second to Paul Andrei. His family is a very rich and his father is the president of The Bleeding potion Company that is very renowned for their high quality potion and pills in the empire.

“Paul did you do your homework?” Kurt asked.

“Of course, how about you?” Paul Andrei said while sitting on his chair waiting for the teacher to start the class.

“Yeah done this time I don’t need to copy from you” Kurt said

“By the way is any of you know of the upcoming competition in the school?” Kylle asked.

“No” Paul Andrei said.

“How did you know that Kylle? My father know it when he and the principal had a small talk that’s why my father order me to be in top 20 if not he will going to force me to do a hellish training for whole month.” Kurt said helplessly.

“I heard it yesterday night when a two teacher of the school gossip while eating. Its seems that this year competition is much harder compare last year.” Kylle said

“The teacher is already here!” one of the students said then all of them seat with there own designated chair.

“Good Morning class today I had a very Important announcement.” Mr. Mark said.

Mr. Mark is a very strict teacher that’s why all students called him ’Demon’.

“What is it Teacher?” Ralph ask.

Ralph is a very handsome young man with blue eyes and blonde hair.Ralph is a young master of influential family in Brilliance City. He was the class leader. Even though he was not handsome he had charm that attract girls toward him. He also one of the talented person in younger generation some even said that he attract attention of the no.1 academy in the empire.

“Next Month September 10 is the Beast Hunting Competition that happen yearly but this year the Saint Academy and other academy is also going to join which is the order of the city lord. ” Mr. Mark said calmly.

“What?!” everyone exclaim.

Saint Academy is a famous academy that on par with Brilliance Academy. Saint Academy isn’t its original name but it change when an amazing alchemist that solely making medicine pills and potion that giving title saint became famous throughout the continent anyone who like to get healed will find him. He was a kind person it said that he travel throughout the continent helping those in needed and he also helping those poor or orphan and because of that many organization had become his enemy but no one dare to kill him not because the afraid of public opinion instead because some of the people he help become powerhouse and they can do nothing with it. Its legend that circulate for 200 years.

“Look like you had to prepare for your hellish training Kurt ahaha” Paul Andrei said while laughing.

“WHY!” Kurt said with despair.

Brilliance Academy 3 grade level and Paul Andrei and his friend is in their 1st grade and every grade divide into A, B, C, D, and E class compose of 30 students each class and A class are the cream of the crop and Paul Andrei and his friend are in B Class. This system also apply with Saint Academy and other academy.

The Beast Hunting Competition only allowed 60 students each academy and Brilliance City had 3 Academy which is total 180 competitors and Kurt father want him to achieve top 20. Even though Kurt is a talented person he was a lazy person and only focus on creating his own company without his father knowing and when he was found out that he develop his own company and its business is blooming his father and mother is happy and that’s why his father and mother invite Paul Andrei and Kylle to attend the party to celebrate Kurt talent and his business.That time there all influential people and Kurt’s parent friend attend in party and when they know Kurt little secret all of them is shock. Kurt put much focus in his business that’s why he rarely cultivate. Even though Kurt father happy on how talented his son in business is but he know that only having powerful cultivation allow him to be safe after all there having powerful strength mean that there would be no one dare to attack you without 100% certainty. This also apply to Ralph and Kylle the reason why Ralph only at class 2 and not on class 1 is because he so focus on his artifact refining that rarely to cultivate as for Kylle he focus on cooking and helping his parent restaurant that he also rarely cultivate. As for Paul Andrei he was only hiding his strength because the old man said that if he show his talent to early not only will he targeted by some narrow minded person he will also attract his parent killer.
