Meeting the Cutie Pie

Next day afternoon, I was talking to my bestie in the phone, when my father called out for me and told "Come and take a look in the backyard!" As I heard him, I went running to see what he ws talking about. I went there and saw it was one of the little kitten from last night. It was sitting by a tree. It was very cute. It had some kind of disease in its eyes. But still it looked really cute. It was the combination of white and light brown.

It looked a little lost. But she lived in the house opposite to ours. I thought "Maybe it has came here by mistake. Oh well, let me go near it and pet it." So as I went near it, it ran away to another tree. I again went near it, but again it ran away. Then I tried to go near it for several times but it kept on running away. But after a moment or two, I noticed the kitty was tired. So it went under a chair and sat there. Although it was tired and sleepy, it kept its little eyes open to see what I was going to do. So seeing that, I sat down beside it quietly without moving. It was too sleepy so it slowly closed it eyes. And as I saw it closed its eyes I put my hand on its neck and started petting it. With the sudden movement of mine, it was shocked and opened its eyes wide. But after a moment when it realized I wasn't hurting it or anything, but petting it, there was the first trust it showed me.

I petted it and I saw it was sleeping peacefully. That was the first time in my life that I petted an animal to sleep. It felt so good. I was petting it plus also guarding it as I saw one cat who was not the mother, coming towards it with a angry face. So I thought that it needs protection.

Well, after sometime when it was almost evening, my grandma came and yelled "Why are you still with it!? It's the child of the cat who has not tail! What if it comes and bites or scratches you? You will need to give Tetanus! Get away from it now!" I signed and told "Oh my God! Granny! Nothing will happen to me! Don't overthink!" But still my granny wouldn't listen and after scolding me, she went inside the house. And I noticed that the poor little kitty had already woke up due to the chaos. Then I stopped petting it and told it "Sit here okay, I will come again to see you after a while." I dunno what the kitty understood but it kept blinking at me slowly. It was very cute. It was evening already, so the picture I took was not so proper. Isn't it a cutie?

That night I went in the backyard several times to take a look at it. It made my day!
