“Yahh,when are you gonna get here? He has already arrived “

“I’ll leave in a minute”

Saying that, you hung up your phone call with your best friend, Jane. You are Kim Y/n,22 years old,living in Seoul,working in a designing company.

You are happy in your life even though you feel a little lonely sometimes.

This was because of an incident which happened in your childhood. You had a bestfriend,who was everything to you.

You both were never seen without the other. He meant so much to you. But, as if all the happy things in life should come to an end, your friendship too came to an end too.

He moved away from your hometown,Busan, to another place since his father was transferred there. Saying a heartbreaking goodbye, he left you,all alone,heartbroken.

You both had no contact between each other after that,which made you more sad.

It's been 7 years since he left and you have been searching everywhere for him since then.

You came to Seoul for a job,almost 2 months ago.

Now back to the present, your mom had been arranging blind dates for you since she wanted to marry you off before you turned too old.

You haven't had a boyfriend even though there were many boys who came and proposed to you.

Right now , you were getting ready for another blind date,which was probably the 5th one since you didn't like any of the guys.

Taking your phone and purse,glancing at the mirror for one last time, you headed out of your apartment,which you shared with Jane, who was also your roommate.

After typing in the location as ‘ddong cafe,’ in google maps and starting the directions, you start driving.Since you were new to Seoul, you didn't really know the streets and shops. here.

The google assistant asked you to continue driving straight for 1km. Suddenly your phone rang. You didn't take the phone but the person kept calling you.

Thinking that it must be an emergency, you picked up your phone. You were distracted just for a second but suddenly,

BOOM!!

Your car crashed with a car that was coming from your left. Your head hit somewhere (idk how to describe a car crash.Sorry).

Your head was paining but you still managed to get out of your car.Running to the other car, you saw the driver whose head was on the wheel.

You laid his head back on the seat. His eyes were closed as he was unconscious.

He had black hair and an eyebrow piercing. You also saw tattoos on his hands and arm.

Omg he is so handsome

Aish y/n , what the hell are you thinking about in such a situation.

You shook the guy slightly

“Mr?can you hear me?”

That was when you saw that his forehead was bleeding, making you panic .

It was a deserted road and no cars were there. Suddenly you saw a car coming in your direction. You waved like a mad lady and the car finally stopped near you. You saw a blonde-haired guy in the driver's seat.

“Sir, please help me. It's an emergency, it's a car accident and a person is unconscious and bleeding. Could you please help me take him to hospital”

“Of course ms?”

“y/n”

“Okay, i'm Kim namjoon btw”

He got out of his car and ran to the handsome guy’s car. Removing his seatbelt,Namjoon took the guy to his car and laid him in the back seat.

You called the people who needed to take the two cars for repair while Namjoon did that.

Ater you were seated in namjoons car, he drove you both to the hospital. Reaching there, the car guy was rushed to the emergency room.

You stayed out and prayed for him.. After a while, the doctor came out and told us,

“Luckily,There's nothing serious. He just has a few injuries and a cut on his forehead. He is sleeping now,but he'll be awake soon. You can go see him.

“Okay doctor thank you”

I said.

“Namjoon, I’llgo check on him. You can wait here”

I went in to see the guy lying there with a few bandages around his cuts. That was when I realised that I still don't know his name.

I sat beside him. As I was busy admiring his face, his eyes slowly opened.

I got up from my seat as he looked at me.

“I am so sorry that I injured you. I was a bit distracted and i didnt notice your car. I will pay all your medical bills. I sincerely apologize”

I bowed to him, hoping that he would forgive me .

He chuckled,

“It's okay, I forgive you. May I ask your name?”

“Oh thank you, and i’m Kim y/n”

I held out my hand to shake his

“Jeon jungkook”

Smiling at me,he took my small hands in his big ones,instantly spreading warmth through my body. But something inside me snapped as he said his name.

“J-Jung..kook??”

“Yes y/n?”

I was not sure if he really was who i thought he would be so i decided to make sure.

“Um, can I ask you something?”

“Sure”

“Where is your hometown”

“Busan”

You widen your eyes at him.

His name , his hometown, everything leads to the boy you were searching for the past 7 years.

You were so happy right now. But you realised that he must have forgotten you.

“I did not forget you y/n”

He said ,as if he had read your mind. He opened his arms and smiled at you.

You jumped in and hugged him, tears brimming in the corner of your eyes.

One of his hands patted you while the other was on the back of your head.

“I missed you koo”

“I missed you too small girl”

“You punched his stomach,

“Yahhh, i'm not a small girl anymore, i've grown up”

“Ouch y/n”

He held his stomach as fear crept up your face.

“Omg im so sorry kook”

He laughed as you realised that he was just joking

“It was not funny”

You turned away,sulking.

“Come on princess, it was just a joke, sorry”

You felt butterflies erupt in your stomach when he called you that name.

You blushed and did not turn back as you didnt want him to see you like that.

Suddenly, you felt a pair of strong arms around you.

He had back hugged you,placing his head on your shoulder

“I'm glad i finally found you”

“Me too”

“I'm sorry for not coming to you before”

“What do you mean jungkook”

“Years ago, I moved here to Seoul. My parents kept me so busy with studies and classes that I didn't have time to contact you.

After my studies, I found that you had never moved away from Busan. So I went there to surprise you.

But you had already gone to Seoul by the time I reached busan.

So I came back to Seoul and found you with the help of my friends. I was very happy to see you after all these long years.

But I never had the courage to come and talk to you since I thought that you must have forgotten me.

And that was when this accident happened which led you to me .

Actually i'm glad it happened because now i have you near me.”

“I can never forget you jungkook. You have,are and always will be the love of my life”

“I realized what i had just said and looked away

“I.. um, i didn't mean it like-”

“I love you too”

“W-what?”

“I have always loved you kim y/n”

“Jungkook i-”

“You were the only person who made me happy. Playing with me,making me laugh with your jokes, you made me fall for you. All these years, I've never looked at another girl. My heart belongs to only one girl and that's you. Kim y/n. I love y-”

You smashed your lips on his as a tear fell from your eye. He was shocked at first but then he kissed you back.

After a good 2 minutes, you broke the kiss,breathing heavily,keeping both your foreheads attached.

“Will you be my girlfriend y/n?”

“Yesss i will jungkook”

He engulfed you in a long tight hug as you finally felt safe and secured in his arms.
