Chapter 1 Is meeting him just a coincidence?

5 Years Later,

In these five years, so many things changed for Xiao Li. There is no one to curse at her, same for no one to talk to her. Her hair turned silky white on the winter solstice five years ago. A snowdrop mark formed on her forehead.

She doesn't what had happened to her or why it had happened to her. She just accept those things without making a issue as there is no one to hear her anxiousity.

The water streaming in waterfall on the peak of the mountain. The air is refreshing. There was uncleared chillness around the waterfall.

Xiao Li doesn't know why she was there. That day, in the morning she just thought of to the peak of the mountain.

Xiao Li living in the mountain in there five years is not so hard as she thought. Because of the mountain spirit or the rock pendant she is wearing, Xiao Li doesn't feel coldness since that day and she adapted to the jungle life slowly.

Xiao Li build a little hut with her knowledge while living there. She didn't struggle to find foods as there is animals and lots of fruit trees in the mountain.

Now, after five years of living in mountain, she gathered enough courage of going up to the peak. She once thought of going to the peak and tried climbing but because of the narrowed path, she abandoned the plan.

Xiao Li mesmerized by the beauty of the nature, walks toward the waterfall. The stones in the water is so slippery, once you put your foot by mistake, you could fall and die by hitting your head on the stone.

Xiao Li puts her foot on the water slowly and cautiously. Her legs feel cold because of the chilling weather. Her tip of long hair is starting to get wet in the water slowly by the steps she took.

"Who are you?" A deep make voice echoed.

There is a sexiness and rude in the voice. Xioa Li looked up and back to see if there's anyone around her.

"I asked who are you?" The voice again echoed, now a little frightening.

Xiao Li gets scared. She always thought that she was only human in the mountain. She never seen any human being in the mountain in these five years.

"Who are you? Where are you?" Xiao Li yelled, her voice trembled.

"WHO ARE YOU?!" The male voice yelled.

The wave of the voice shakes the whole place. Xioa Li, hitten by the wave of voice struggle to balance herself between the rocks.

Hee legs gave up to balance and finally she sipped and about to fall down. In a moment, she thought she is going to die finally at the age of 17.

But it is not.

There was something makes her floating in the air without falling. But there is no one grabbing her.

The rock pendant in her neck glows a dim light. A person's face started to appear in front her. His hair is silly white just like her.

Then his body, A black long dress he is wearing. His hands are grabbing her waist.

His eyes is clear as black crystal. His iris is like infinite dark.

The man Grabs her tightly and jumped out of the water to the floor. Xiao Li stepped away from him and steadied herself.

Her ball of her foot cut while slipping and was bleeding. Xioa Li doesn't care of the bleeding and focused on the man.

"Who are you?" Xiao Li frightened seeing a human.

"That was my question before to begin with." The man tried a sarcastic but didn't work.

"What? aaahh, okay." Xiao Li cleared her thought after getting confused.

"By the way, are you a human?" Xiao Li asked without answering.

The man looked on as if he didn't know what is human. He rolled his eyes around, asking himself the answer for the question she asked.

"Demon?" She asked looking into his eyes.

The wind blew as their long hair shines with then sunlight.

Demon?" He asked, looking on.

"What are your species?" She asked.

"Species. Don't know." He said, walking away from her.

Xiao Li followed the man. She doesn't if he is a demon or human, but she is happy to see a person who could speak the language she is speaking. It was like honey was flowing in her ears.

"Let me explain, human is a mortal who can't do any magic like you did now. On the other hand, demon could pull any kind of magic. Since you pulled a magic now, shall I address you a demon?" Xiao Li asked innocently.

"Guardian angel." The man in black said without any expression in his face. he didn't even look at her.

"What?" Xiao Li looked.

The way he spoke one word at a time is so struggling for her to understand.

"Can you explain further. Just speak up. I won't eat if you speak well." Xiao laughed at her own joke.

The man stopped moving and looked at her. Xiao Li stopped laughing and looks at him. The man suddenly comes closer to her face. Xiao Li backed away a little, her is saying she is scared. The man looked at her into her eyes. He felt a sparkling in her eyes.

"Then who are you? Human? Demon?" The man asked.

Xioa Li's lips trembled. The man still close to her face. His breathing hair hits her face and felt a warm travelling her body. Her heart beating faster then even, like it's going stop anytime soon.

"Hu... Human." She said finally.

"Are you sure?" The man asked doubtly.

The man gets his face away and again starts to walk. Xiao Li sighed heavily but was confused by play of words and follows him behind.

"Are you sure you're human? I don't think so." There was a smirk on the side of his face.

"What do you mean?" Xiao Li asked, her face serious.

"Just now, the pendant in the neck of yours glowed and I felt a vibrant in you. And, Your eyes..." The man stopped points his finger to her eyes.

"sparkling a aura of something, which I absolutely don't know. Is there a mortal who was having these type things with them?" The man looks into her eyes.

He felt her eyes is blank but there is still a sparkling. it was lively and vivid. He could feel something is bothering him of her.

Xiao Li touched her eyes and then the pendant. She looked down at the pendant but there's no light glowing like he said.

"Are you blind? or are you a scammer" She asked him, doesn't taking his word seriously.

The man stepped behind by her words. He was surprised she was so cool but felt unbelievable she said something bad about him, Even though, he doesn't know what is 'scammer'. He sighed deeply before talking.

"What? Just leave me, you won't understand." The man said.

He suddenly disappeared in the thin air. Xioa Li us surprised and looked around.

"Mister! Mister?" Xioa Li yelled out of lungs for him but there is no answer.

Just her voice echoing for her question. She looked up and down in the hope he would be there, but there isn't. Xioa Li shrugged her shoulder down.

"At least, he should have said his name." Xiao Li murmured to herself.

That night, Xiao Li finally stepped down from the peak of mountain to her hut. It was a chilly night.

She reached her hut and opened the front door. Her hut is small but was beautiful in its own way. She already stored some fruits in the hut.

Once in, she picked some fruits and munched on it. Xiao Li sits down on her bed that she made with dried leaves.

"Who is he? Is he really a demon?" She asked herself.

She remembers her mother saying how a demon looks like while she still lives in the palace.

"But he is too handsome for a demon." She smiled at herself.

While munching on the food, she remembers about what he said about the rock pendant.

Xiao Li puts the fruit down beside her on the bed and puts his both hand on her back of her neck to untie the pendant.

Finally untied, she grabs the pendant by her palm of her hand and experiment it. Xiao Li rubbed the pendant to see if any kind of light glowing but there is none.

She can't say the pendant is normal because she herself knew the pendant is not a normal thing. Xiao Li knew there is kind of spell on the pendant since the first time she found it under the oak tree.

The way it didn't break no matter how harder you hit it, the way her hair turned white and red mark on her forehead is not a normal thing to happen if there is no spell.

She doesn't know, founding the pendant is a luck or unlucky for her.

She sighed deeply and looks away from the pendant. Her face has expression of worried and concern. She then just wore the pendant on her neck again.

In the next morning, she was so excited to climb the mountain again.

She is happy and excited to see the mysterious man she met yesterday. it was because of her age or the charm of the man, it pulled her toward him once again.

After hours of walking, she finally reached the waterfall. The waterfall felt lively and refreshing.

She done a ponytail in her long hair which makes her look like a warrior woman for a hunt in the mountain.

Her mark on her forehead is looking bravely as ever. She walks to the middle of waterfall and calls out the man.

"Mister! Mister! Where are you?" Xiao Li almost said it like singing a song.

"I'm gonna fall and hit the stone. Please come save me." She said, whole giving a act of putting her back of hand on her forehead and bend a bit backward.

Her tip of white hair wetting itself once again.

The mountain felt gloomy and silence. The only thing she could hear is the sound of water streaming in the waterfall and the birds chirping.

"Mister, mister, mister..." She again and again yelled nonstop.

She felt a sudden chill to her bone. it was the first she feeling this much chill since the winter solstice five years ago.

She puts her arms together to make herself warm.

Suddenly, Xiao Li flies out of the water and falls down to the shore. She looks up, her eyes in fire.

The mysterious man laughed out loud standing in front of her.

"Sorry, I thought you were gonna die and just pulled you out of the water but forgot to use spell of landing you safely." He laughed out.

Xiao Li tried getting up but couldn't since her body hit the shore hard, her body gave up it function for a while. The mysterious man gives her his hand to help her get up.

Xiao Li grabbed his hand and stands up. She tapped the dirt on her hand and glared at him.

"You..." Xiao about to speak up but was stopped by his finger on her lips.

Xiao Li looks at his finger and then at him. The finger on her lips felt cold.

"What's your name?" Xiao Li asked.

"Name? What's that? Food?" The man's eyes sparked with the word 'food'.

Xiao Li giggled out loud while he takes away his finger from her lips.

"People call me Xiao Li. What people call you?" Xiao Li introduced herself.

The man gone into a deep thought. His dark black eye looks so beautiful but there's a loneliness.

Xiao Li understands there are so many things he doesn't know.

"Can I call Xiao Syaoran? You like a 'he who is a wolf'." Xiao Li laughed and takes out a flower out her side pocket.

It was a yellow color chrysanthemum flower.

Xiao Li handed him a fully blossomed chrysanthemum flower. The man takes it from her.

Syaoran, who lived his life as a lonelier on the mountain for the past 500 years without knowing what he did before, finally got a name.

Xiao smiled brightly at him. Syaoran smiled at her.

it couldn't be said what or why. They both felt a familiar feel between them.

Xiao Li always was cursed by and Ill treated by the people came to the mountain five years ago. Living here, is not so easy but she felt comfort living. Thinking her life would be boring while living as a Tarzan with no friends or family, finally found a man, Syaoran.

Syaoran, the mysterious man of the mountain who claims himself as the guardian angel of mountain who doesn't have any prior memories before opening eyes in the mountain 500 years ago, finally met a person who looks like him. Eyes same as him, Nose same as him, lips same as him.

Can their meeting really be just a coincidence?
