Prologue

The little childrens as same age as Xiao Li chases her. Xiao Li was running in her princess attire, but there is a difference. Her royal dress was almost drenched in water. The water dripping from her dress giving hints to the childrens who were chasing her down.

Her face was red and plummy as if she was cried before. Her rosy red lips has some little wound on side. Her look was very terrified and scared.

Xiao Li falls down with her foot hitting a stone. Blood is coming out of her right foot's little finger. Xiao Li finally burst out with tears streaming down her face.

The children surrounded her and starts to bully as much as can.

"ew! She is bleeding. Is that the blood of a lowly born?" One of the boy burst out in laugher while the others followed him.

"Shut up! I... I'm not a lowly born!" Xiao Li stemmered.

"Oh, yes. Yes, you're a royal child. But, isn't your title useless. Your father, I mean the King doesn't even think of you as his own child. Ha ha ha!" The boy said.

Xiao Li wants to say something but couldn't say anymore because she knew what they were saying is all true.

Xiao Li born on the year 1300 on the winter solstice day for a court maid and the King, were raised as a princess because of the political life of his father, The King.

Title as the princess is the only thing she does have. Her father never acknowledged her as his own. The Queen and their children always treated her as a parasite. Her mother, the court maid was even more treated terribly and called her 'wench who seduced the King' even though it was the King who did forced himself upon her.

Xiao Li's mother heard the cry of her daughter comes to her aid while the other children ran away from there.

"Mo... Mother!" Xiao Li hugged her mother tightly for solace.

"Don't worry, Xiao Li. Come." Her mother hugged her tight and lift her up to go to their chamber.

Xiao Li is sitting down under a oak tree. Her dress was changed to a new one. Her dirty face is cleaned up. Her wounded on foot finger is cleaned and bandaged up.

The oak tree somewhat gives her a little assurance, thus this place becomes favorite spot of her whenever she was in gloomy mood.

Xiao Li just spent her half of her lifetime under the oak tree, it was a house for her also. A house which is safe and sound to reside.

Xiao Li for a mood, she looks up at the sky. The sun was glowing bright as the other days. Her eyes dazzled and felt sleepy.

Xiao finally closed her eyes to get a quick nap.

There was a frozen chrysanthemum flower. It was have to be look dead but it was lively.

"He had once saved my life, protected me. Now, it's time to repay him." a elegant girly voice echoed.

"Are you sure? If you do it now, you have to bear a fate that is not yours." A male godly-like voice echoed in return.

"I don't care. As far as I can save him, protect him, I will." The girly voice echoed, with a determination.

Suddenly, the frozen chrysanthemum flower shattered into pieces as a little rock with pendant's chain falls upon on the frozen flower.

"Where does the lowly bitch gone?" A woman's voiced echoed.

Xiao Li opened her eyes and hides behind the oak tree. She felt a stone piercing pain in her palm of her right hand and looked down.

There is a little rock with pendant's chain under her palm. The same thing from her dream just now. She took it up into her hand looked forth and right.

"Is this..." She looked on, with the thing felt familiar for her somewhat.

"Haish! Bitch" The woman annoyed.

The people behind her looks surprised by her words but still there is saying in their face that they already knew she was got to talk like this.

Finally the woman walks back to the place where she is come from.

"Thank God. The Queen gone back." Xiao Li sighed.

Xiao Li again focused her eyes on the rock pendant.

"It's looking like a pendant. Should I just break it?" Xiao Li gathers a rock.

She started to blow punches on rock pendant with a more big rock.

After many blowing punches, the rock pendant didn't even get little crack but the other rock in her hand has been broken into pieces.

Xiao Li looked so surprised and shocked. She was shocked the rock hadn't even had a crack. She was surprised the rock pendant is so strong.

"Is this a magical thing?" Xiao Li got the pendant and looked on.

"Is this will get luck for me?" Xiao Li puts the rock pendant around her neck and touch the rock pendant.

She then walks out of the oak tree and gathers her mood to go to her chamber.

after getting inside the palace hall, she reached a chamber. But it was not hers, it was the Queen's. She has to cross the Queen's chamber to go to her own, thus hearing cursing words everyday.

She sighed and takes a big step to cross the chamber.

"Wait!" A male voice stopped her from putting foot on the floor.

"Is that a princess, You Highness?" The male voice asked.

Xiao Li looked at inside the chamber at the man. The Queen sitting in front of him, her look annoyed.

"Yes, she is a princess but born to a lowly court maid." The Queen smirked.

"Her face, Your Highness. Is of a goddess but her fate..." The man lowered his face down, scared to say another word.

"What? Her fate what?" The Queen asked.

Xiao Li also started to hearing curiously about her. Her wish is to have a fate where a beautiful prince will protect her and love her for who she was. She hoped to hear those words. But...

"Her fate will destroy the kingdom and the world in the future. You should take measures before that, Your Highness."

The man kneeled in front of the Queen while saying this. The Queen is shocked and glared at Xiao Li. Xiao Li looks hurt and scared to hear those words.

"We should take measurements, Your Majesty. That evil child will destroy our kingdom. The shaman said it." The Queen pleaded.

The court maid, Xiao Li's mother looks worried by The Queen's words. She hoped the King would say something.

"What are your thoughts, Your Highness?" The king asked the Queen.

The Queen glared at the court maid and then pleaded at the King.

"Better we should kill the princess. If we kill her, her fate will die with her. Our kingdom can be saved, Your Majesty." The Queen said.

Shocked by The Queen's words, the court maid runs towards the King and kneeled down.

"No, Your Majesty! The princess didn't do anything wrong. She is only a 12 year old child. Please show mercy, Your Majesty." The court maid pleaded, her eyes streaming with tears.

The King sighed deeply and looks away from the crying court maid.

"The princess didn't do anything but her fate. But if we didn't make measurement, her fate will bring our kingdom down. I will not let my kingdom to go into ashes, at least not in my region." The King said with a deep voice.

The court maid pleaded at The King with her tear wet eyes.

"Please, Your Majesty. Show mercy." The court maid said.

"It was my fault to have a child like that with the court maid. I will not kill the princess as she is my own blood. But I will banish her to the mountain. She can't put foot down in the kingdom anymore." The King declared.

The Queen smirked while the court maid looked shocked.

"Your Majesty! What's the difference? she is only a 12 years old. She can't live in the mountain. Banishing her is same as killing her." The court maid yelled.

"How dare you raise your voice at The King of the country. Soldiers!" The Queen called out the soldiers.

The soldiers surrounded the court maid and pulled her out of the The King's chamber. The court maid struggles with the soldiers but the soldiers overpowered her.

"Your grace is immeasurable, Your Majesty." The Queen honored the King.

It was the morning of the winter solstice. The most coldest day of all year. The day she was born. The day the princess, Xiao Li will be banished from the palace.

The palanquin's door opened by the guards. Xiao Li walks towards it, with a little bag in her hand.

Xiao Li looks back for once, not for the palace she lived till now but for her mother. The day her mother took her in while the children bullied her, it was the last day she saw her mother.

"It's getting late, princess." One of the guard in charge of the palanquin said.

Xiao Li nodded and gets into the palanquin while the guard closed the door of the palanquin behind her. The guards took the palaquin and sets off to the mountain.

They finally reached the mountain. The guards felt the coldness piercing through their bones. They put down the palanquin and silently users their eyes as the sign language. They nodded at each other and silently stepped down out of the mountain leaving the palanquin with the banished princess in the middle of the mountain.

After a while, the princess felt the palanquin doesn't move anymore. Xiao Li opened the door and gets out.

She doesn't know what is the place or where this place. She looked around only to see the tallest trees.

She felt coldness piercing through her. She wants to go to a warm place and reside but she doesn't know where she is.

She gathered her strength and walks up to the mountain.

While walking halfway, she started feeling very tired. The cold has been freezing her body slowly. She started to give up her hope of going to a warm place and takes the reality check dying in this cold weather.

The snow is slippery and Xiao Li slowly start losing her conscious and falls down. She rolled down while being unconscious and finally hit a tree.

The snow on the tree falls upon making her body and face to go more pale.

"Will I get to live a another day? Am I going to die on the day I was born? What a luck I have." Xiao Li murmured, a warm tear dripped on the side of her eyes and finally gone into a deep unconscious.

The time passed briefly. the body has been frozen half. Her face had been turned a little blueish.

The rock pendant on her neck glazed in the snow. A white color light formed out of the pendant. The snow on her body started to raise up on the air.

The light on the pendant suddenly boomed and the raised snow fall slowly upon her long black hair and disappeared.

There is a red mark start become visible on her forehead. the red mark formed a snowdrop shape and become a tattoo like on her forehead.

Her hair slowly started turning pure white. Xiao Li face turned to pale white from blueish and she looks like sleeping rather than dying of frozen in the snow.

While she was sleeping under the tree with a newly formed snowdrop look of bindi on her forehead and silky white hair, she looks looks like a goddess fallen out of the sky.

As the time passed, because of the winter solstice the sky's day finished abruptly and the night takes its shift.

The cold snow falling upon Xiao Li becomes blanket for her, while the man of her fate becomes visible for her slowly...
