~Chapter 2~

(August 02, 2023)

Josh POV:

Hi, my name is Josh, it's nice to meet you.

to be honest no.

I hate people and you are no exception.

I am a Siberian Husky with gray fur and with different colored eyes each.

I am 16 years old and I am in high school, my second year.

I'm just going to start today.

I'm on my way to school.

stop by a park I frequent a lot, Colton Hill.

I don't even remember why I started coming here.

The only thing that matters to me is that in the morning it is a good place to be at peace with yourself and your thoughts.

I have vague memories of coming here with someone, but for some reason I can't remember who.

Maybe with Sonia.

oh right, my best friend Sonia.

We have been friends since we were children.

She is a good woman, although sometimes she is a hopeless case.

She's on a volleyball team, the best of the whole fucking team.

For my part, I don't do any exercise.

Nor am I looking to join any sports team.

I am in perfect condition to do any sport that I want but I don't want to for a simple reason.

My studies.

If I start training a sport, I know that I will lower my grades.

and I have been the first place in all classes since elementary school.

Although my body does not resemble my physical abilities at all.

I'm too skinny for what I can really do

To give an example, I look like Ellie from The Last Of Us part 2 but I should look like Abby.

that's just a resemblance to me, I'm not so skinny.

Also my fluffy fur helps me hide it.

I arrived at school and entered the classroom.

Sonia was already there.

"Hey Josh, are you ready for what's next today?" she asked excitedly

"You know I don't, but I have no choice, where is my seat? I walked from my house to here, I want to sit down"

I hate that asshole.

He thinks he is the king of everything just for being the captain of the fucking football team.

And his girlfriend, Sandra, the leader of the cheerleading team.

The two of them are the couple to the neck. You would like to put two bullets and leave them to rot.

"I heard a new student is coming" Sonia said as she sat me down

"Great, another asshole who comes to waste time and of others" I replied

"Sometimes I wonder why I am your friend" she smiled

"Because you're a masochist, that's why" I laughed

She sat in the other half of the room and I sat in my corner.

The minutes passed and I decided to read a book that I had in my backpack for now.

It wasn't an interesting story but I liked it for some reason.

The protagonist is a boy who had a girlfriend but he met another boy and tries not to become gay even though he himself knows he is but he refuses to admit it.

For some reason that simple plot has me hooked.

I have no idea how long I was reading but the teacher came in and I put it in my backpack.

"Very good class, this year we have a new student, be kind and affectionate with him"

A wolf came through the door and entered.

"My name is Tyler and it's nice to meet you and I hope we can get along."

He seems very confident in himself, he doesn't stutter or anything.

Something in him makes me known, also his name sounds like something to me.

Did I ever meet him?

I'm trying to figure out why he makes himself known to me.

"You can sit behind Josh" the teacher told him.

"I will do that"

As he approached me i tried to remember him but I couldn't.

He sat behind me and lowered his head.

he looks very cute.

I guess I'll have this thorn in all day.

The class was normal until it was time for recess.

I was eating with Sonia.

Who is he? Why do I remember him from somewhere?

"Hey Josh, are you listening to me?" Sonia interrupted me.

"Excuse me, what did you say?"

"You're very distracted today, what's wrong with you?"

Tyler came in

I have to know, if I really knew him before.

He sat behind me and I turned around in the chair.

"Hey mate, you make me acquainted, did we ever meet?" I asked for

"I don't think so, you don't make me known" he replied

"I knew, oh sorry, I thought you were someone else"

"No problem, we all make mistakes"

I know you, of that I am sure.

(Same day, different time)

I was accompanying Sonia to her Volleyball practice.

I know Tyler, where do I know him from?

"Here we are Josh, are you going to stay outside to do homework?" Sonia said.

"I want to go in, I want to free my mind for a while"

"Whatever you want"

We both entered the gym and all of Sonia's classmates greeted us.

"Josh, I didn't think you would like to come here anyway, you always stay outside" the coach told me.

the trainer was a black-furred marmot.

She always wore a sports cap.

"This time I thought about trying something different, I want to see if volleyball might interest me"

"You? You are not even interested in sports" she laughed

"I want to see if this one can interest me enough"

"Well, you can be the points counter, he has a very good view of everything that happens on the court, also so you could learn how to play, the basics at least"

"I am interested, where is my place?"

"It's that chair over there, use the notebook to write down the points, I guess I can rest a bit."

Sonia went back to her team and they took the ball.

Sonia was going to serve.

She jumped up to hit him in the air.

She is beautiful.

She looks like an angel.

(30 minutes later)

"Point for Sonia, game over, Sonia's team wins"

They all stopped and sat on the floor exhausted.

"And I thought we could have a chance against her" said Sarah

"Keep waiting bitch" said Sonia.

"And that's it? I mean, what do you do in one day? When I stay outside it's always several hours, now it's only 30 minutes" I said

"We are exhausted, besides the coach is asleep, we don't know what to do" replied a colleague.

"That I'm asleep is not an excuse not to do something" I heard the coach.

"What do we do, coach?" Sonia asked.

"The losers will run the entire court 10 times and the others will practice the passes"

One half of the team began to run around the court and the other half began to play with the ball.

"I entertained myself" he replied

School was boring today.

"A lot, I like being here, I don't know why I didn't feel like it before, it's incredible"

"You can tell that Sonia also likes you to be here, now she tries much more"

"I guess I encourage her"

"Or she just wants to impress you"

"Impress me? Me? She impresses me every day that she goes on in school with her grades."

"I have heard her talk a lot about you, she is very fond of you"

"Hey Sarah, are you still going to eat?" Sonia asked her

"Yes, but I want you to rest, maybe Monday, today go to rest" she answered

she tried to get up from the chair but fell as soon as she got up

"Sonia, are you okay?" I asked as I picked her up

"Yes, it was nothing" she replied

"I don't think she can walk, I'll take her to her house, we'll be fine"

"Are you sure you can leave like this in the middle of the night?" the coach asked.

"Sure, I'm a tough bastard"

"I'll trust you, go"

I picked her up in my arms and managed to take her backpack in my hand.

"I don't know where you live, so you'll have to guide me" I said.

"It's just a few streets away, just go straight and I'll tell you when you get there" she replied

I started walking with her in my arms.

I can't believe I'm doing this.

"You like to bring me like that don't you?" she asked smiling

"Don't make this weirder than it already is" I replied avoiding eye contact.

"Okay, I shut up"

My arms started to get tired.

"I'm getting tired, I have an idea" I said.

I put her hands around my neck and let her hang onto me.

it's heavy!

I leaned her against a wall and moved her towards my back.

I carried her legs with my arms and put my hands on her thighs to keep her from falling.

"Hey, are you sure you don't want to touch me too much?" she asked laughing.

"If you want I'll get you down here" I replied

"Take me, I'm tired"

she rested her head on my back.

Why do I feel nervous?

Why do I feel weird when I touch her thighs or that she uses me as a pillow?

Why do I feel this?

"Here it is" she said

"This is your house?" I asked for

"Yes, thanks for the /"

Her parents came out the door running towards us.

"Sonia, you had us very worried, what happened?" said her mother.

"The training took too long, and I got bad and Josh brought me" she replied.

"Thank goodness" her mother continued.

Sonia got off my back and handed her backpack back to her.

"Thanks for bringing me Josh" she said.

"It was a pleasure, see you later Sonia"

"Bye Josh"

I went out into the street and started walking.

How i love that girl.

(Next day)

I wonder how Sonia is

I'm on my way to her house.

Just to ask, I don't want to upset her parents.

I got home and rang the bell.

Her father opened the door.

"Is Sonia here?" I asked for

"Yes, come in, she would love to have you company" He replied

He let me in and led me to Sonia's room.

I knocked on the door.

"Come in" I heard Sonia on the other side.

I opened the door and I saw her lying on her bed looking at her cell phone.

She looked at me and was surprised.

"What are you doing here?" she asked confused.

"I just wanted to see how you were, that's all, don't think I'm here to steal"

"And why didn't you warn? I would have fixed myself at least a little"

She was wearing a white blouse and no pants, literally in underwear.

Damn it!

"I'll let you fix it" I said opening the door.

"What's the use now? You already saw me all"

"Do you really want me to stay with you like this?" I asked closing the door.

"Yeah, really, I feel like I know you well enough to know that you are no longer a pubertal idiot"

"It's fine"

"You matured very fast for your age"

"I don't like talking about it, how are you?"

"I'm fine, although my legs hurt a bit"

"It must be because you over exercised them, you will last a long time like this"

"But it will finish for the game the following weekend."

"You're really anxious huh?"
