Silence

We waited in the classroom for about twenty minutes till the sound of the girl trying to get in stopped. When it did we waited another five minutes before I looked out the window. When I looked out the window there was no movement in the hall. When I saw it was all clear I waved at Pollux telling him to follow me. I quickly opened the door trying not to make a sound and Pollux following my every move. We soon came upon the entrance of the schools cafeteria and when I peeked around four infected students stood with lifeless eyes. I quickly shifted away from the entrance and looked at Pollux with widened eyes and shook my head in grief. But Pollux placed his hand on my shoulder then look into the cafatera ro see how bad it was for himself. Then I looked down at my feet to see a textbook that was stood up against the lockers. I bent down to grab it while Pollux turned away from the cafatera. He looked at me as I stood up with the book in my hand. He grabbed my hand stopping it in place and looked me in the eyes. He did not have to speak for me to know what he was saying. His eyes told me to put the book down, but I couldn't do it. I then pushed his hand off and turned the corner to a place where I knew the infected could see me. But even tho I was in a visible place they continued to stumble around the large room. I then did the dumbest thing I have ever did in my life and through the text book across the cafeteria and it hit the other wall making a huge bang. Then they ran over to the sound not even looking back at me. Then I feel Pollux sudden yank on my left arm that pulled me further down the hall. He then pushed me into an open classroom and closed the door. "Kuro what was that you could've gotten your self killed" Pollux spoke in a deeper voice almost yelling. I turned to him and spoke "I knew what I was doing". "No Kuro you didn't know that would work yet you still did it" he then turned away from me almost like he couldn't face me. I then grabbed him by the shoulder trying to get him to face me "Pollux let's talk about this after we find Akame and Caster". I then grab the door handle and pause "I'm gonna continue looking for them with or without you". I then open the door and walk out knowing Pollux would follow me. When we made it to the entrance of the next hall I peeked over the corner to see about nine infected students swarming the copy room. I then turned to Pollux speaking in a whisper "there is about nine of the trying to get into the copy room there might be some people in there". He nodded the looked across the hall at the woodshop and pointed at it. I felt a smile form across my face then patted him on the shoulder as I walked over to the classroom.
