"Ooooh! April, did you remember something?" Catherine, who saw me asked.

"I think so, my birthday is on May 4th, I think...." I replied.

She suddenly drooped down.

"My birthday is on November 22," Catherine informed.

"Hey! At least we'll be together right?" Genesis comforted Catherine.

I smiled at their interaction. Unfortunately, Dante was on my team.

"You better not make us lose," Dante warned me.

"Dante," Genesis glared at him. Dante suddenly looked like a puppy kicked by its owner.

"April, if you don't know anything, it's ok," Mrs. Violette reassured.

"Okay," I responded. Her words didn't make me feel much better.

"Everybody ready? Let's start!" Mrs. Violette cheered

Everyone in each group got into a line. I was the last in my group. The first two kids had a button in front of them. The harder the question, the more points it gave. The first in our group was a girl named Jade. Unfortunately, she lost against a boy named Nero from Cathy's team.

It kept going like this. Team two would win some, then Team one would catch up. Pretty soon it was my turn. The girl I was versing was named Jenna. Jenna. That name sounded familiar. The girl smirked at me.

I shook those thoughts away. It wasn't time to think about that. Right now Team one's point was 500, while team two's was 800. They were beating us by 300 points.

"The next question is 700 points! Who will be the winner? Since we have a new student today, I wasn't prepared for a lot of questions. So this one is one you guys haven't learned yet." Mrs. Violette exclaimed like a host from a tv show.

Dante and the rest of Team one looked disappointed.

"What is 34 x 21?" Mrs. Violette asked.

The minute she said that numbers already popped in my head. Jenna just scoffed.

"She obviously doesn't know," Jenna told Mrs. Violette ridiculing me.

"Jenna, let's see if April has it or not first, ok? There's no judging in my class or accusing."

"Sorry," Jenna responded.

Mrs. Violette looked at me and nodded.

"714," I said.

Mrs. Violette looked stunned. She quickly looked at her clipboard.

"How can it be?" she mumbled

"She got it incorrect right? I told you!" Jenna just said.

"C-correct. The answer is 714,"

Jenna looked as if someone had slapped her.

There was a moment of silence. Then Team one burst into cheers.

"Mrs. Violette! She must have cheated!" Jenna exclaimed, "There's no way she would get it right,"

Suddenly the room was quiet again. Some students were nodding their heads, agreeing with Jenna.

"April isn't like that!" Catherine cried out.

"Uhu, then why did she get it right. Mrs. Violette even said she hasn't taught this to us yet," Jenna accused.

"How about this, I'll ask April another question, and if she gets it right, then we all know if she cheated or not," Jenna said.

I nodded.

"What is 368 x 492?" Jenna said.

The moment she finished, Team one started to protest.

"That's obviously too hard,"

"Jenna, you can't even answer that,"

"181,056"

Again, the class was silent.

Mrs. Violette quickly pulled out a calculator.

"She's right..." Mrs. Violette showed us.

This time, Team one kept on cheering and congratulating me.

Jenna's face was redder than a tomato.

"You'll regret this,"
