Chapter five , Part III | The cause.

“Was it really necessary to invite them over ?” Alexander grumbled, his eyes eyeing the people who are preparing for the last touches in the palace and especially the ball room.

Her tried eyes swapped at him, stifling a laugh from getting out of her lips. Alexander rarely shows his emotions, especially when he sulks, she couldn’t help but feel warm with how overprotective he is of her.

“Yes, Al. I need to know the other solution to this mess.” She then looked away from him to the running creatures, “I want answers. I want to make sure whatever in that book was the truth.” She stopped for awhile before continuing “The only one who knows about it is that royal beta.”

And the late Alpha’s child.

Alexander nod his head, his eyes narrowed to the ground. He wasn’t pleased by her highness reply but he couldn’t help hoping those wolves would know the answer to his highness misery.

“Your highness,” Ciel’s voice called for her from behind one of the tall creatures, who was busy fixing the painting of the wall near the gold door.

Her eyes met his, and saw them sparkling with happiness.

“What’s wrong Ciel? Did you find something?”

Ciel’s smile quickly vanished,“No,” he twisted his mouth guilt quickly hit him. “My queen, the werewolves are here.”

frowning her lips a little , she couldn’t help but feel astonishment towards these fast creatures.

In this world there wasn’t many creatures who can defeat the werewolves in speed. It was known that the regular wolves who aren’t royals nor hybrids, they could travel to distance places in no more than few hours. As for the hybrids, they were a little faster than the regulars.

The Royals were out of reach. Their speed was and still a legend to behold. Every creature admire their speed and strength.

Her feature darkened as she remembers when her father used to tell her about the hideous behaviors of some of them (the creatures) they would go to the depth of cutting the Royals legs and attaching them to theirs.

Or how they would boil their flush and muscles to have their youthful skin and strength. They would even dare to sell them around the streets and in stores.

She couldn’t believe the awful things that those wolves been through, How terrified they must be from other kinds of creatures, how they ended up hiding hoping nothing would happen to their last heir.

She quickly eyed Alexander with a look of coldness, she didn’t even need to speak before he bow and vanish into the marble floor.

Her raspy voice rang through the hushed hall, as her eyes met with everyone’s orbs. “They are my guests, behave.”

She then turned around and walked behind Ciel who was hugging a worn out book between his arm.

It didn’t took her long before she was sat on her throne, she couldn’t help but let a nervous sigh. Her brain was analyzing the consequences of her choice and the possibility of them knowing a cure for her unusual sickness.

“Yushi is with them at the moment, the idiots are captured and put in the dungeon.” Alexander’s voice whispered to her within the room.

Her tensed shoulders quickly relaxed, her tired eyes closed in a moment of calmness.

“Be careful my queen.”

She couldn’t help but smile, “Yushi will be beside me, go do your job.”

I hope I’m doing the right thing..

“My respect to her majesty!” A voice of the soldier by the hall’s door brought her back from her thoughts, “Your honored guests are here.”

“Let them in, William.”

The door quickly open, and an old looking man stepped first, his eyes were glued to the marble floor, his long hair was tied in a low ponytail.

His wore a classic dark English suit.

The old man didn’t speak or great her, but he bow his focus was still to the floor.

Her eyebrows knitted at his weird behavior, what’s wrong with this man ?

Her full attention was on the old guy, and when the person walking through the gold door saw that he couldn’t help but throw a deadly glare at the elder who was terrified.

‘soMEONE HELP ME! THEY ARE GLARING AT ME AT THE SAME TIME!’

Who would blame him for fearing his own soul! He didn’t yet livid that long he didn’t finish collecting all the stricers of his favorite show!

These two powerful creatures were eyeing him like he was a cute fluffy rabbit!

“Pfft!” The man who just walked wanted to puke blood. Did he hear his uncle whisper to himself He was a cute fluffy rabbit! His mouth twitched .. he shou-

“Who are you ?”

His thoughts were cut by a raspy voice, his eyes traveled to the owner of the voice and couldn’t help but let a horrific curse at what his eyes saw.

“Bloody hell!” His worried eyes locked with her questioning faded orbs.. faded.. “What happened to your majesty?! Who did this to you?!”

Was it the guy from the letter? What was his name.. oh he remembered Cin! That f*cking hole of crap! He’s going to be dead meat!

The woman in front of him frowned, she looked at the old man then the noise one who wore a different style than the elder. It was an Italian suit, it fitted his body so well, and enhanced his body muscles in real classic way.

Her eyes kept on moving to every inch of his body, she couldn’t stop herself. It was her first time eyeing a man like that, but what made her glare at him was the way her heart would beat every time he would speak or their eyes meet.

That damn spill!

“Your highness!” His voice pulled her back to him, he was already shaking with worry “Please tell me who di-d such an awful thing!”

The elder who was a few minutes sweating, now was tempted to see how her majesty look, but someone here was too jealous of her highness asking for his beta to go meet her personally so he ended up commanding him with his alpha tone not to look up at her until he says so.

“Stop screaming.” Her fingers quickly pinched between her eyebrows. “Tell me who are you and why is the beta, who I asked for help from is fantasying my floor!”

The man whimpered, his eyes full of tears and hurt, he felt wronged and a sense of betrayal engulfed him. “I—”
