In another place, away from the known queen’s territory.
A very annoyed man stood in his office, fuming at how his straight objects have moved an inch away from their previous place.
Yes, he was mad for just that or so the two people thought.
“Your majesty! Please calm down!” An old man tried to calm the man in front of him as he eyes the poor soldier who was shaking with sweat he could even smell a bit of urine from him.
“Calm down ?” The young man spoke his voice low, eyes still at the soldier who whimpered. “Calm down ?!” His voice was lower this time, his eyes met the old man’s. “HeMOVEDmy stuff! And on top of that he let those shit heads inmyterritory! And you tell me to calm down ??!”
The old man lowered his head, he couldn’t help but let a sigh out. He wouldn’t blame the young man for acting like this, he was an extremely clean freak. He doesn’t accept the help from anyone around him to clean his things, it was either him or Miss.Hoffman.
“All I’m saying is, they could hear you. We don’t want to make it worst for us with her highness.” He softly spoke, hoping the anger would vanish.
The old man always find it amusing to see his highness would calm down when the queen is mentioned in a conversation. He couldn’t help but let his eyes roam the younger man in front of him, who was now trying to calm himself by breathing softly.
“You know they aren’t here to help her, they’re here to kill her.” His voice was now slightly tense, but calm. He give the soldier a nod and saw him run away crying like a small child.
Oh .. it seems he went too far.
“We can take that to our advantage my lord.” The old man’s eyes glint as his lips curved into a known smile. “Since you’ve been dying to meet the queen and you adoring her every destination, we could make our first appearance after so long by handing them to her.”
The lord hummed, not agreeing nor disagreeing with what he spoke of.
He could finally meet her,his queen. He could admire her with his eyes and see how incredible of a queen she is.
“Then tell them we’re going with them to her tomorrow.”
Before the old man could bow and go call the palace of her highness, a shadow loomed at them from the celling. It eyes were red as blood, it’s skin as black as the shadow itself but, there were spots lighter than the others.
Fear engulfed the elder who froze, eyes wide as the moon with his mouth open.
The shadow huffed, glaring at the young lord who was not afraid but intrigued by the shadow.
Who wouldn’t? He have been living in this territory with no headache from other creatures since he was a child, and now a shadow just emerge from the shadows with no one knowing its inside made him for some reason calm.
It took his nose a minute to sniff a dazzling smell coming from the shadows which made his wolf pures in his head.
Wait... last time he checked he wasn’t into men .. but why does this smell calm his tense body ?
“My queen, asked me to deliver you an invitation.” The shadow mumbled, clearly not found of being near them. “And please do bring them, her highness would accept them as a gift.”
Before he disappeared they heard him mumble “Freaking dogs.”
“What th-“ The old man was cut, by a gold card dancing in the air, it had a bright light to it, and to the old man’s horror the gold card was humming a peaceful song.
He eyed his lord with his terrified orbs, he was surprised to find him (the lord) reaching out to hold the gold card, he couldn’t help himself when his arms locked on his majesty’s right hand. “My lord! Please re-think this! This might be a-“
“Relax old man, and focus on the card.” He calmly took his hand away from the elder’s, his lips curved slightly at the elder terrified behavior. “I bet you’ve seen it before.”
The old man frowned, eyes back at the flowing card that started to mumble the queen’s name over and over. It looked so familiar, yet he couldn’t seem to remember where he saw it. After all he lived nearly around twenty thousand years.
“I can’t remember my lord.” His lips were frowned, eyebrows knitted together in confusion. “I’m sorry.”
The young man pressed his lips together, holding back a laugh. He couldn’t help but clear his throat and take the glowing card, not answering the elder’s questioning gaze.
His eyes scanned the invitation, he felt his heart jump as he heard the most beautiful voice he could ever hear, say. “Hello and good evening to all royals, and to you too beta of the Royals.”
The young man couldn’t help but glare at the elder who was now sweating uncomfortably by the intense gaze.
“This is a very important invitation for you beta of the Royal, and for whoever you want to bring–”
The poor old beta wished to vomit blood and die, his lord glares hardened and his face was as dark as the night.
‘Dear god I don’t want to die by my lords hands! I’m still too young to die!’
“To my gala, or as the others call it Party.” There was a pause before the queen’s voice shake, “I-”
All they could hear is her breath, before a small voice asks, “stop, please your highness.”
The young lord’s lunges stopped moving, his eyes narrowed.
“I’m fine.” There was a bit of anger in her voice, “This is the twentieth time you cut me Ciel. And no I’ll continue I don’t care.”
A smile slowly got into the young lord’s face, he couldn’t help but sigh, he felt honored to have her do such thing so many times just for himse-
“Beta of the Royals,” her voice cut his thoughts, and the way she cuts it before he could finish the sentence mad him glare at his beta with hateful eyes. How could he!!
He was his beta! His father best friend!!! And his uncle!!! How could he take his li-
“I have a subject, more like a problem I want to talk with you about.” Her voice now calm yet they both could hear her pain every time she spoke. “I hope to meet you alone after the party, I’ll treat you with outmost respect. Ju-Just please I really want an answer.”
With that the card’s light vanished, and the poor beta couldn’t help but shove his body to the far wall away from the angry man who was now eyeing him like he had moved his belongings away from their places by three inches.
“You will not go to meet her! I will!” The jealousy in his voice was enough to make the old man a victorian vasa .
