Chapter 2: Clock Strikes 12

“This seems to be strange, what the heck is going on?”

There were students picked up by the school guardians and accompanied to a never before seen classroom in the campus. Inside you would see a total of six grade 12 students sitting. Some were confused, some were patiently waiting and some -- just simply don’t care.

“Does anyone know why we are here?”

Student A: “Unix right?” 

A girl with lovely pink hair sits right next to Unix, she looks calm and seems like she knows what’s happening.

“Yep, I am Unix Yeerum from class A” he replied “Do you know exactly what’s happening?” he asked

The girl looked straight ahead and confidently said “Nope! Don’t know (she chuckled) but, I think we are in a good place -- a good spot”

They chatted for a moment while the rest were doing their own thing. A minute before the clock struck 12 Unix saw a familiar face. 

It was her… He uttered on top of his head.

“So everyone is here and I just can;t wait to welcome everyone!” A loud, manly and authoritative voice came in that borne a face that looks familiar with all of them.

“You are Mr. Richivarit!? The professor that interviewed me during the entrance week” said the guy that sat in the middle front row.

“Yes! That was me Mr. Xi (he smiled) I ran the test and interview with you and same with everyone in this room” they all looked around and started to check everyone’s faces

“Unlike the usual first day of the class I will not ask for a formal from everyone --  at least not this time. We will get to that in no time” he gave a signal to the guardians standing at the back and they started handing a folder to the students.

“The reason why you guys are here is because you guys are the chosen students to become part of the Midnight Class” he started his introduction and pointed to the guy sitting at the back “Mr.Xảnāc, what is the first thing you noticed in this session?” he paused and waited

All of them looked at the back, waiting for the answer from this guy…

“Time’s frozen” he said

“Tell me more” Mr. Richivarit’s all ears with this smart good looking student

Fight Xảnāc cleared his throat and continued “When the clock struck 12 it got stuck there”

“That’s true, at first I was thinking that it could be the clock. But, after the guardians handed us the folders I noticed they went gone right away after stepping out the door” the girl added from Fight’s answer

“I like the observations Fight and Rachini!” he said while smiling

“Rach, please call me Rach” she said

“Ow okay, I’ll keep that in mind… (started walking towards the other end of the room) What else?” Mr. Richivarit asked

“I am thinking, we are in the parallel world” Gon said without looking at Mr. Richivarit

The rest of the students looked at him and some were really shocked.

“It was just a guess. You can’t keep a class who does the daylight study and run another whole set by midnight. Right?” he said and finally looked at his professor

Mr. Richivarit clapped and it was evident how happy and satisfied with the student’s answer “The Midnight Class is happening at midnight and to keep everyone’s sanity, strength and mind stability we are running the class with your parallel personality. Meaning your body and mind in the real world get to sleep and this version of you are the ones attending this class.” he made his way to the front and officially introduced himself.

“Nice meeting everyone! I am Korn Richivarit, the professor of the warrior’s class and my core potential is being able to open the parallel world for myself and for others. For the next few days or weeks I will be expecting you to formally introduce yourself the way I have done it myself earlier” the discussion continues…

Chosen students are being called warriors because of the belief that they will be the key to success for the country, globally and the world.

Warriors are known as Alphas, the leaders, the successful ones and the winners.

They should complete the ordinary classes (with tons of privileges for being warriors).

They should pass all of their exams (but the priority is to become good and expert with their potentials).

They should not let the non warriors be aware/informed of all the things they are doing during the midnight class.

They will be categorized as the special scholars of Willord Castle High and represent the school with pride and extraordinary performances at all costs.

A warrior, will always be a WARRIOR!
