Rest in peace, Rabyto
Kwon Seulgi
It was exam week in high school, and I was in middle school back then. I woke up as usual, but my best friend seemed off—he looked sad and tired. I didn’t worry too much; I just left water and food for my dog, Rabyto.

Don't tell me you are going to...

After having breakfast, I hurried to catch the bus, anxious to arrive at school on time. When I got there, nerves flooded over me. The thought of failing my chemistry and biology exams gripped my mind, but I took a deep breath and tried to control my anxiety.

What happened next?
Kwon Seulgi
During the third period, in the middle of a regular class, I caught sight of something out of the corner of my eye. It was the unmistakable silhouette of my dog wandering through the school corridors. I brushed it off, convinced it was just my imagination.

When I returned home, my mother delivered the heartbreaking news: Rabyto had passed away. I was shattered, devastated even more by the vision I had seen earlier, realizing he had come to say goodbye, unaware that it would be our last moment together.
Based on a true event
The author has something to say: I heard this story when I was chatting with my friend about my loss. I lost my dog,my grandma,my grandpa, and a good friend each one year after year for different causes. When I lost my dog, I couldn't see him, but I felt that something wrong happened, and later, I found out he was hit by a car. Then came my grandmother in 2017 she left us and I couldn't see her either because she was from another country and I didn't have enough money to travel and say goodbye. After revealing this, my friend told me this story about her dog and how she felt after losing him, a good friend like mine.

Now you know. If you see something familiar and strange, don't ignore it. Always say goodbye and hello to what you love or else there won't be a next time.

Right. I had a similar experience too, and this is why I don't accept pets at home anymore.
Kwon Seulgi
I am telling the truth. It was strange, sad, and I miss him everytime.
