taking a small sip, the ever energy inducing bitterness never ceases to delight me--- It's a home with the best fireplace in coffee form. And it's also made by only the best barista in the, entire world... Artemis!!! Whoop! Whoop!!

Speak of the devil, she's flashing me her signature smile. It's so pure and bright, that it just makes you want to smile too!! But, I'll have to hang out with her later, cause now it's hero business.

Vaulting over obstacles and jumping from roof to roof, I kinda feel like just for a second I can fly free. And what do ya know, I'm already here! Gingerly dropping down to Artemis' balcony, there's a small "thup"! As my feet land, knocking the glass door a couple moments slip by before Artemis opens it and pulls me into a warm hug. Taking off my boots before letting her bring me in, I bet granny would be happy that I remembered the manners she taught me. Ah--- she was a blast.

Artemis" so? I see you just finished you hero work, how was it?"

Stevie" overall? Great! What about you?"

Artemis" same."

and so the rest of night was spent talking, eating cookies, and the piece de resistance. Ice cream! Haaaahhhhh--- just talkin' bout stuff with Artemis feels nice, she's a very good friend...

Stevie" "ahhhh-hhaaaaaa" hey Artemis, I know this might be a little much! But... May I crash here tonight?"

Artemis" of course. We could share my bed."

Stevie" huh?! Wait--- I can't! I should just sleep out here."

Artemis" nonsense. I insist, unless... You don't want to?"

dang'namit! Why puppy eyes are you so adorable?!! "Hhfff" fine. Handing me a set of her pajamas they're so soft and smooth, as I take it off her hands our fingers touch and it feels good... After a change of clothes, we both get into bed and once all the lights are out it's a miracle! Imagine how weird it is to have someone wide awake in bed next to you, uuuugggghhhhh--- why can't I just fall asleep?!!

Artemis" Stevie?"

Stevie" ah! Artemis. I'm sorry, I-I---I kept you up didn't I?"

Artemis" well--- yes and no. Stevie how do you think of me?"

Stevie" well you're definitely a very kind woman. Aaaaand you are the best barista in the entire freakin world! And you are nice."

what?! How can she just leave me like this--- huffing, I just sorta notice how nice her deep amber hair is. It's so shiny like strands of silk and yet it spills over her pillow and her shoulder like ink. Huh... Closing my eyes, sleep is practically my breathing as the last thing I can think about is just how sleepy I am.

**the next morning**

Waking up, there's still some sleep in my eyes but give it a couple seconds and it's gone. And so is Artemis, gettin out of bed I get myself in a more assembled state before poking my head out to her living room to see that Artemis is making some coffee in her kitchen. Aaaaahhhh--- coffeeeeee....

Artemis" are you just going to stand there all morning?"

Stevie" what?! Of course not! Not when you're makin coffee."

Artemis" honestly, I'm beginning to feel you only want me for my coffee."

Stevie" what?? Me? Never! Although your coffee does play a big role, hehe."

Artemis" aha, well that's nice to know."

Stevie" hey, Artemis. Thanks for being a good friend, really."

Artemis" my pleasure, Stevie."

hmm--- I wonder if Artemis likes me? Well I'm pretty sure that she likes me, but... Does she like like me?? Oh well, future me I'll leave that to you. And now time to get to class before I'm late.

Stevie" hey, Becky. And buenos dias."

Becky" buenos dias, mi hermana. So what's gotten you in la prisa?"

Stevie" oh nothing, just had a sleepover with Artemis."

Becky" mi hermana, you have to tell me more after we finish class. Speaking of, where are you?!"

Stevie" I know! I'm on my way, see you soon."

c'mon legs! We're gonna be pollo asado if we don't make it in time!!

yes! Made it with five to spare, whoo--- that was close. Now time to study, woah I can't believe I just said that.
