This chapter made me thinking a lot. Like, I'm aware, Dara is controlling her dad's mind (and probably her mom's as well, I wasn't so sure). But still, all these scenes made me realize, that in truth Aseel's family more likely is not intentionally abusive to her. More like very strict, especially culture-wise. And it makes some things even more sad. Because, when your family is truly unloving, you always have an excuse or hope in the back of your mind that one day you just run away from them and never look back. But when they ARE loving, but simply don't understand and don't support you, instead forcing you to do things they claim are for your own good, no matter how unfair they may treat you in times and no matter how many times you proved yourself to be right about number of things, you still blame yourself and can never break free unless someone is there to support you morally. Good thing she has Dara now
