Entry Challenge

"Nice to meet you! I'm Brown, the president of the Volleyball Club. The both of you are our first and only new members, but we would still want to test your skills at volleyball."

"We would be more than happy to prove ourselves.",said Red. Sometimes both of them think of the same thing, and this was definitely that moment. Blue was excited and wanted to get started immediately.

"Good. The test will be a 2v2 match. Me and Purple vs The both of you."

"sounds like a challenge!", Red and Blue said together.

All four meet at the mixed sports court. It has all markings for volleyball, handball, throwball and basketball. The facility is of proper court size, along with stands for the crowd. It was way better than anything the duo had seen before they came here, and the atmosphere only fueled their excitement.

"We get access to this court once a week, so make it count!", said Brown. Red had already started to imagine how the match plays out. Blue started to jump around, and thought about how he can use the skills he learnt by watching others.

"Let's start!", said Purple. she was quiet for a long time, and was ready to serve. Her silence made it hard to predict what she was going to do. She tossed the ball, and hit a float serve."Not doing anything special at the start I see", thought Blue. He went to receive the ball, but it changed direction when it started to fall. Blue was surprised, and barely missed the recieve. It wasn't just a normal serve...

The next serve was a high toss. Purple jumped higher than the first time, and hit with immense power and speed. Neither Red nor Blue could react to it.

"What!?"

"Seriously?"

"that's so different from the first one"

"If the first one was a serve, this was a monster serve."

Brown smiled upon hearing the conversation between the two. This duo seemed stunned, but was also determined to stop the serve they just saw."That's why Purple is on the team.", she said.

It was another serve. The toss was high, and Blue tightened his calf muscles. He had to recieve it at any cost. The moment Purple jumped, Blue screamed,"Come at me!" The Ball came slowly, and Blue reacted to it."If it changes directions when it falls, how about I don't let it start falling at all?", he thought. He jumped up and recieved the ball overhead, making a direct set for Red."Eat this!", screamed Red, as he smashed the ball with all of his power. The duo felt extremely happy, and their excitement was off the charts. They managed to stop the serves, so it was time to return the favour.

"I'll serve a ball which you can never imagine to block!", said Blue. He decided to go all out, and serve the ball with full power. The toss was very high and Blue's approach was perfect, but then something happened....
