Chapter IV - The Event Of Wielders

—Beginning

*thud thud thud* The sound of people running away from something.

"Iyaaahh!!" Someone screaming was heard.

Weird sounds were made by the creatures following them.

"No one told us about mindless creatures inside the forest!!" A lass was compalining about a group of creatures that are following them. It seems like these creatures wanted to become friends with them.

"What did you expect? Balloons? This is a forest Idiot, Of course its filled with creatures!" A grey-haired lad told the lass.

"Lets just focus on running for now! They are right behind us!" A brunet shouted at them as they tried to run as fast as they could. Having to run out of breath.

You may as well wonder what caused them to be in this situation, Well lets explain it from the beginning of what happened.

Five people were sitting on a rock bench near the fountain.

"Hmmm... We've been here for about 2 hours and the instructor still isn't here...!!!" A young woman said as she complained about this fact.

"I know right? How can someone be this late for the start of an event?!" The blonde also agreed at the statement of the lass.

*sigh* The three from the group sighed along with the blonde.

"By the way, I've been curious for a while... What village are you guys from?" The blonde asked the three.

"We're from Ravaryn" The grey-haired lad answered.

The mascular man from the other group took notice of what the lad said.

"You guys are from Ravaryn?" Andrew asked.

"Yep! Hehe" The lass answered.

"I've heard about that place before, Its a place filled with many creatures, right? A lot of people said that its a great place because of the natural resourses" The blonde said with an amazed look, as he wanted to hear more about it.

It was a village filled with great wielders, that could even compete with other kingdoms if they ever fought with them.

"It is indeed a great place... Along with Bear-sama who is a living legend of Ravaryn, I've also longed to visit your village ever since I met Bear-sama" The masculine man said after knowing that these people are from that certain Village.

His trust for them grew from just knowing where they were from.

The Head of that certain village is known for his leadership and his bravery. Its no wonder why this person admired him.

"Hehe, It'd be great having you guys visit on our village after this event" the grey-haired lad said as he scratched his head.

"Yeah!" The lass and brunet also agreed.

"Thanks for inviting us haha~" the blonde said as he once again smiled brightly at them, along with the mascular man who now trusted them, as he believes that being partners with this group will be a great decision.

After a short amount of time... The dark-haired man who was assigned to take their stuff, now came back.

"I've got our stuff" The man said.

He stood there as he glanced at the brunet who was talking with the blonde along with the energetic lass.

"You two idiots, you're squishing me!" The grey-haired lad uttered, pointing at the brunet and the lass as he was in the middle beside the blonde and the young lass who're chatting with each other with the brunet.

"Oops, hehe sorry" the lass made a playful look as she was asking for forgiveness.

"I knew it! Alison is gaining weight again"

The brown-haired lad said, sniggering as he looked at the lass who was once again boiling with anger.

The blonde giggled at the group, as he noticed the man who was silently holding a bag infront of them.

"Kaze! How did it go?" The blonde asked the man.

"It was quite crowded there, so it took a while to get ours, However I've got an update about the event" The man said.

The dark-haired man looked at the mascular man that was soundly sleeping beside the blonde.

He looked at him, as he became little annoyed.

"Andrew... Wake up, It seems like the other advisors are planning on changing the first stage, because of our instructor being late... However, It seems like every one from each boarder will all go to the battle arena for the orders"

The man said as he then continued to have a solemn look on his face.

"If they will explain the change of plans at the battle arena, what'll happen to the original plans?" The grey-haired lad asked, he was quite suspicious of this matter.

"They might have a reason for this though... But, why must they change plans only because of one instructor being seriously late?" The brunet also noticed this fact.

"Indeed, and the audience will be waiting at the battle arena" The blonde said.

"Well it seems like they'll be tracking down our movements... An unknown person was hired to help the mechanics for this event, someone who specializes an all-seeing ability..." The masculine man said as he heard their conversation.

"An all-seeing ability? But why would they track down our movements?" The brunet asked.

"To gain money from the guest" The dark-haired man said.

"So we're merely just money making tools for them?" The grey-haired gal said.

"I don't think so, this measure of gaining something is obvious to see through, they seem to not plan anything more than just that..." The dark-haired man answered.

"I see, But we shouldn't let our guards down" the grey-haired lad said as he stared at the brunet.

"Hmm? " The brunet had an uneasy look on his face.

"..." The grey-haired lad noded as he looked at him, while he already knew what the brunet was doing while they were all talking.

Apparently, this young lad was trying to track down the battle arena and the forest where the first stage will commence. This lad also specialized tracking by using pebbles, which he had collected from the natural energy of the ground, being able to sneak through barriers because of it's speed.

Luckly, the three from the other group didn't notice the speed of these things that he had created. These pebbles has a high speed of tracking which could also somehow trigger other wielders to take notice of the energy used in it.

However, thanks to this certain news that everyone from their boarder are talking about and because of Alison's enchantment it made it less detectable fo them so they wouldn't be able to notice the energy...

Yet.

...

Unfortunately, the blonde became aware of it.

"Ey... don't you... feel something from under us?" The blonde whispered to them.

"Really?" The grey-haired lad tried to blend in, as he was ready to cover up for the brunet.

"Huh? Natural energy...?" The lass asked.

"My light energy is feeling something, and it's definitely natural energy from underground" The blonde said.

"Natural energy? Maybe its a normal occurance here?" The masculine man said, yet he wasn't sure of his statement.

"No, its more than just a normal occurance... Uwahhhh- Don't tell me the underworld is just below us!" Lucas said with a bit of a scared face.

"Wha-" the lass became confused, for the fact that this person is a sorcerer that uses light energy, as he should know the difference of each natural energy formed by wielders or creatures.

Despite being a light user, he is quite scared of the creatures of the underworld because of how they described them on childrens books.

Be that as it may, he had mistaken an earth natural energy for a dark energy, because of the extra enchantment that is placed on it.

"Pfft Idiot, You're still scared of those kind of things?" The muscular man said as he laughed a bit.

The dark-haired man knew this familiar energy, and saw through their plan.

"Hmm, So... what do you think about this 'occurance'... Kogane-san?" The dark-haired man said as he looked straight into the brunet's eyes.

"Huh?" The muscular man and the blonde both looked at their teammate.

"Hmm, I knew I'd get caught anytime soon"

The brunet scratched the back of his head, as he sighed. Although he felt a little relieved.

"How- ?" The grey-haired lad asked, he was confused of how the man noticed it.

"You're wondering how I had guessed it right?" The dark-haired man said as he looked him in the eyes.

"Eh? What do you mean Kaze?" The blonde asked the man fron their own group.

Everyone looked confused, except for the brunet and the man that was standing infront of them.

"Your expression tells so... Your tracking skills exceeds that of an average wielder" The man said to the lad.

"Huh...?"

"I never would've thought that someone would see through it" The brunet said as he looked nervous and uneasy because of this.

"What-" Wilson was also confused of what's happening infront of them.

The dark-haired man looked around, as if he was wary of something.

"Hn... Your combination of skills are indeed excellent... Even these two didn't notice it until now, But you still lack on looking at your surroundings" The man uttered silently enough for them to hear, while he unconciously smirked.

"Huh, what do you mean Kaze?!" The masculine man asked his teammate.

"Don't worry Andrew, I don't hold any grudge... Its for the reason that they were nearly spotted by one of the advisors" He said quietly to them.

"Wha- you... I still don't understand" They were all confused, while the lass is already dizzy from trying to proccess all of this.

The brunet tried to explain what they did, and why it seemed like they were having ill impresions of each other.

And to clear things out, they were both acting.

The brunet made an impresion of a weak person, while an advisor was looking over them. Fortunately, it appears to be able to remove their distrust on you after learning that you are a hopeless around bigger people(someone who has high standards).

By using the title of these three. The brunet was able to use it as an advantage, knowing that Kazeyami who is the ace of the blonde's team and that is also known to be very cautious person. The brunet used this chance, as if this person will take care of them once they made an awful act that'll bring them down.

Fortunately, the man was also tracking down the arena, which made them notice the doings of each other.

"I'm surprised, you got the idea by acting" The man said as he smiled at the brunet.

"You mean- You both knew what you guys were thinking, and continued while not telling us your plan? And that also means, Both our groups had the same idea?" The grey-haired lad said, as he finally noticed.

"Basically, Yeah... That's how it seems to be it" The blonde said as he also guessed it, while he touched his chin.

"How interesting, I never really thought that we'd encounter people who can become our equals" The dark-haired man said as he smirked, having high expectations on the other group.

"Equals...?" The grey-haired lad said as he had a confused look on his face.

"Eh...-?" The two idiots also had a dumbfounded look on their face.

*sigh* the two people from the other group sighed, as they also felt at ease knowing that their ace had finally trusted the other team.

As it goes, the brunet and the twins are confused, while it seemed that they'll be in good terms with their new partners.

The Battle Arena... is where the last stage will take place.

A wide space, used only to fight one another to see who'll claim victorious...

However, it is too soon to start here.

"This place is huge!" The lass once again was amazed by the structure of the arena.

"It looks like we're the first one to come here, before the other boarders" Wilson said.

"You say that but... Why does it feel like the people just multipied?! It's like we've already combined all the people from each boarder!"

The brunet said, looking shocked at the fact that there were more people from their boarder than what they had thought.

He looked left and right, trying to make sure that he's not imagining it.

"They were not lying when they told us that there were more people participating..!" The blonde said as he was also surprised.

"Yeah! This makes the event more exciting!" The grey-haired lass said as she raised her fist at the air.

"I agree with you Alison-san, a great fight comes along with great foes" The masculine man said.

*tak tak tak*

the sound of foot steps walking towards them.

"Well look who it is, Its the little brats heh..." A familiar voice said, It was the bald man that a certain group had encountered in the meeting

The bald man's teammate noticed the blonde man that is with the twins that their 'talking' with.

"Ohh~ Well if it is the Young Master Lucas Azeroth,  Its a pleasure to meet you, May I ask if these two brats have bothered you?"

The odd skinny man said while he was rubbing his hands together, Planning to try and get the attention of the nobles group.

"Eh!? Its you again?!" The lass said as she looked at their group with anger.

Yet, The man ignored her as he was too amused to see the nobles group.

'Tsk... how sly of them' The lass voiced silently.

"Oh...? Who are you to talk like that to Lucas? Are you perhaps a close aquaintance? However, I've not seen you before... And to answer your question, No they're not bothering us"

The dark-haired man said as he looked at the odd man with a serious face.

The odd man shivered from fear, The serious look that Kazeyami had given them made their surrounding feel suffocating and narrow.

Kazeyami had already felt annoyed at the way the man was talking to the blonde. The group looked quite cunning despite looking... quite... stupid.

"Ahh... have I seen you before? You look quite familiar..." The blonde said, rubbing his chin.

"Oh..! Ahh Yes! We're from the kingdom of Gahltiewreth" The subbordinate of tha man answered quickly.

The brunet stiffened a little as he slightly giggled.

'Huh, wha- What kind of person would name a kingdom Gahltiewreth? Isn't it hard to pronounce?... Pfft-' The brunet thought as he sniggered silently, while they casually forgot about his presence.

*sigh* 'I shouldn't laugh at the name of their Kingdom' Kogane said as he continued to listen to them.

"And so? I think I've seen you in a different situation... rather... on what happened in the wielders meeting"

Lucas faced the group with a cold gaze, as if he had already detested them.

The blonde disliked the impresion of the group. They acted obvious while they still continued to act foolish and carefree as if they had been close friends...

The men from the other group looked quite embarrassed.

It seemed like they failed to gain the noble's trust.

They stood there not knowing what to do next...

As if nothing could save them from this suffocating atmosphere that is made by the noble's group.

*RING RING RING*

A loud sound made by a bell was heard.

The other boarders have arrived at the battle arena.

....

What will happen when all of them face each other...?
