Chapter 4 "Max"

Authors POV

“Hahaha what was a good, clean kick. Right in the face as well hahaha. don’t know about you hyung but I like that guy’s boldness.”

“so, you’re telling me that you want that guy as your bodyguard without me forcing you?”

“you could say that.”

“nice! Alright! Max you’re going to have to test his skills and if its above 90 make him an official bodyguard for Jungkook as well as keeping him as your student.”

“yes sir.”

 Max was one of the leaders in charge of keeping the jeons family safe. Right now, he was under Jung-hyun since he is the one that has taken over the jeons family now.

Max made his way down to the women that was in charge of the interview. He explained the situation and made his way towards Jimin.

“please follow me to the next room.”

Jimin hesitated at first but then went with him out of curiosity. Soon after they reached the room that had another a ring that was used for fighting but it was way bigger, and it looked like it was used often.

“is it okay for me to ask why am I here?”

Jimin asked but regrated later since Max in front of him toke almost a minute to answer.

“Mr. Jeon has taken interest in you, so you will be his personal bodyguard, only if you pass my test.”

“does that mean I don’t have to do any of the rounds that women talk about if I pass your test?”

“yes, since you understood the situation now you will be given 1 hour  before we to prepare start our match.”

“it’s alright, I don’t mind starting the match right now.”

“this is not some joke Mr. park; it might cost your life.”

“then let’s find out shall we.”

Jimin said as he walked towards the entrance of the ring. Seconds later Max followed him and joined him in the ring.

It really looked like a tiger was vs-ing a lion. The energy in the room started to grow stronger when the match begins.

Both opponents were strong no less or more. Jimin got hit twice while try to defend but he also landed a strong punch which leaded Max to move backwards.

soon after 10 minutes of nonstop fighting, Max lost some stemma which led Jimin to advantage. Few seconds later Max was defeated with a kick.  

Though Jimin won, this was his first time fighting someone a worthy an opponent that could last for 10 minutes while fighting him.

“your one strong brat”

“could say some to you, can I get your name?”

“Max…………I’ll get you next time.”

“I’ll be looking forward to our next match then.”
