Jotaro is going to be a marine biologist, he decided.

He refers animal to human interaction and jiji told him to choose the work he love so it would not feel like work at all.

Well, and Jotaro’s knowledge about DIO’s allergy to the sea may contributes to that decision. It’s understandable since Jotaro himself can no longer stand the dry desert after that trip. DIO is trapped under the sea for a hundred year, of course he is sick of it.

Even if Jotaro has no hard feeling about DIO because of his death, there is no reason he can’t suffer some more. After all, Jotaro is not a nice guy, he is just not evil.

Before they met, DIO knew about Jotaro. He knew about the state of the Joestar bloodline in general as an extension of Jonathan.

With the ultimate power of The World, DIO had no fear. How can he be when he is virtually invulnerable even without considering the vampire power?

It’s only out of spite that DIO sent minions to spy on the Joestars. One hundred year at the bottom of the ocean is not fun!

His minions are quite capable, somehow none managed to infiltrate the Speedwagon Foundation but they did gained access to the German Military archive.

Apparently, Joseph somehow defeated three Pillar-Men and an Ultimate Being, at 18. As expected of Jonathan’s grandson. Nevertheless, he is old now and not much of a threat. Sadly, the location of the mask to become Ultimate Being was safe guarded by SWG and why none of the worker there use it is still a mystery.

Holly is an average housewife and that is it.

Then there is Jotaro.

At first, the reports sent back were disappointing, but expected. Jotaro was just a delinquent who was rude to everyone include his mother, completely different from Jonathan.

However, the report slowly turned to something weird. His minions, even the male ones, become obsessed with Jotaro. They replaced “Kujo” with “Jotaro-sama” in their report, write fantasy about how “Together, Lord DIO and Jotaro-sama will certainly rule the world”,…

At that point, DIO withdrew his minions before they decide to change side. Even Jonathan don’t have that kind of charisma, it’s more of DIO’s force to be honest.

Even then, Jotaro was not a threat, DIO was just uncomfortable when his minions seriously thought he would be interest in a 17 years old, he is many thing but not a pedophile dammit!

Anyway, when DIO learned about a curse on bloodline, he used it without hesitate. There was no reason to worry.

Some minions died, nothing significant.

The elites died, a pity but they are useless.

DIO met Jotaro and disappointed that he is not Jonathan. In the 4 minutes of their fight, disappointment slowly turned into fear, and DIO embarrassingly mistook Jotaro for Jonathan.

Maybe the Joestar bloodline is not that wash-out yet.

“Did you just study that to spite me? You know I am allergic to the sea.”

“It’s your fault that I am allergic to the desert. So it’s either the sea or the jungle, and I have no interest in becoming prey for the mosquitos.”
