Chapter - 3

"who are you?" asked adriel in serious voice to the person who was grabbing Terra starring at the long scar on Adriel's left chick.

"What! you don't know me?" he asked back surprisingly as if the answer was something obvious.

Adreil again asked him as if it was last warning reducing distance between tip of Terra and his neck.

"Hey!! My name is Leo the giant king of Morberos kingdom. you don't know me? really?" surprised in clumsy behavior which made adriel more suspicious.

"than where is your Rob and cape? where are your soldiers? tell the truth right now or this sword will Pierce you in split second."

"HEY BOY!!!!" someone leading pack of soldiers towards adriel shouted, "what are you doing with our king? Take your sword away from him this instance."

The next moment it was that soldier's neck on tip of the sword.

"Try to decieve me again and that will be your last breath, he is the only person in Morb stronger than me. Though I haven't seen him yet, you are certainly not him."

Threatened adriel, rotating his sword back to Leo with aggressive eyes.

In one mountainous punch he brought down the tree Adriel climbed to find Gitto, without showing much effort looking straight into adreil's eyes, this time in some earnest frame of mind.

Adreil took his sword back, kneeled down quitely asking for forgiveness.

"Yeah, yeah, it's alright. I face this almost everyday. But do I look that dumb?"

"SIR!!!!" the soldier shouted again, "don't just leave us without informing, and wear your Royale clothes when going out for no reason." Gave him his Rob and cape.

Leo was the type of king his people needed. Admirable, Humourous, Calm, Good, Joyful, Powerful and certainly carrying person. He had everything which the king should have aside his clumsy behavior, Always trying to become one with his people and making them feel comfortable. No king could ever be as perfect as him.

Leo wore his Rob and cape again talking with adreil drappling his left hand around adriel's shoulders. His most of attention was at the scar on Adriel's face. And finally his hesitation wore off.

"What is this scar on your face?" he asked formally.

"Oh, that! I don't know, my sister said it was from when I was too little to remember that."

Leo's expressions were telling about his excitement, hearing the answer as if he found something really important to him.

but it was lacking something.

"How old are you, adriel?" asked with similar excitement.

"Ah, my age is 18 years. why are you asking that, sir?" adreil answered.

"Oh, it's nothing, it was just normal question." as Leo answered hesitantly his inside was rumbling with thoughts that,

"HE is HIM. He must be. There is no way this is some coincidence, coincidences can't be this specific. I must tell this to Oscar, I must." His thoughts forgot the real world, the situation around him.

"your magesty, your majesty!! what happened?" it was adriel waking him up from day dreaming.

"Oh, I am alright, it's nothing." answered Leo in stammering voice. "tell me more about yourself, I have enough time."

Adreil stood up from the tree steps and said hesitantly.

"I'm sorry your majesty, but I have to go now, the sun is setting so my sister must be waiting for me." Adreil answered sincerely.

"Than it's alright, but I'll meet you some other day when you'll be free than tell me about yourself." Leo taped his palm on Adriel's left shoulder giving a wide calm smile. Adreil saw something coming out from between Leo's palm and his shoulder, it was like a smoke illuminating like dim fire. But it was orange colored going upwards in the sky after slithering Leo's hand. It made adriel calm and joyous.

"If anything troubles you anymore you can talk to me about that with me, no matter what it is, alright!!" said Leo with some hesitation.

Leo took his hand back and that smoke was gone. it was Leo's aura of joyfulness, excitement and calmness which was influencing Adreil. And Adriel understood that right there.

"Thanks, your majesty." he went to take his belongings and head back to the oread mountain. after watching that, the soldiers thought that why is there majesty being too nice with this normal hunter. after all he is just a hunter like others. who knows what goes on in Royales' mind!?

His brain was still over thinking about the king.

"why was he so friendly with me? or does he behaves like that with everyone? I can't say. let's just head back and meet Teresa now. it'll be refreshing."

As adreil was going far disappearing into the mountains, motionless Leo's eyes were still struck on him.

"This time nothing can steal you from me." this thoughts were roaming into Leo's mind.

The increasing night was gulping the sun in it. It's the time when Adriel's day ends.

His feet were marching to the mountains on there own as it was his daily routine.

The mysterious hooded figure was still looking at him from afar. Far enough to be cautious of Adriel's incredible senses. her eyes became wide open as if she saw something peculiar.

"What is that light coming from his heart? it's not of a human heart nor animal or of anything I know. it's too much to be any lower creture's heart. And this golden light I can see it without even concentrating my clairvoyance. what...is...this...?"

WHOOSH!!! the wind flowed from her opposite side exposing her beautiful face. Her greenish white hair were half bumped at the back of her head and long elvish ears were evident for she was an elf, a half elf. she wore her hoody instantly before anyone see her. and disappeared right after.

The mountain was too different at night that you can't agree with it's scenery at the morning or during the day. Adriel walked past some woods until the cliff appeared. Teresa was set their on the cliff hanging her legs. Adriel standing just behind her walked to her lowering luggage on the ground, and set right beside her. The calmness of night was extraordinary, birds were all slept at this time, not any kind of voice was imenating

from anywhere, just there voice was.

"so, was today as usual?" hinted Teresa without looking at him.

"No, it was different, a lot more different that it never happened before." he replied,"you know, today I was going to kill our king. I could do anything I want, but let him go." spoke with some attitude.

"Oh, really! don't think i am dumb." she replied knowing his nature.

"Yeah, and he was surprisingly friendly towards me. Was asking questions about my past, about me. But I like him, after all he is our king." he went back in his thoughts.

"YOUR king, and what was he asking you about your past?" she became curious but more suspicious.

"well, just my age and stuff" he answered without much interest, "Oh, yes, and he was particularly interested in this scar on my chick weard right? is this anything special, Teresa?"

"This questions!!" she murmured, "why would he ask him this particular questions?"

"No, it's not, it's not anything special.But beware of him or whatever he says, don't do anything he say you to or get too friendly with him either."

"getting, jealous han, don't worry I'll never leave you, whatever the reason it'll be. you are my only family after all." and he lapped his hand tightly around her neck.

"Now tell about your day, was it fun!! Did anything special happened to you too?"

"No, it was as usual," she answered uninterestingly with dull sad face.

"what? I'll kill them. Just tell me who was it?" He jumped up with anger.

"Adreil, sit here right now. you know that they will never change no matter how many times you go there and threaten them or anything." again in sad accent, looking into the deep dark valley she explained him."Our oread's rules are words wrote on the stone. They never change even if you'll kill them all."

"what? Punishing for even talking with a human because of someone who died centuries ago? When will they think for themselves now? This is all my fault. Because you are talking with me they are doing this with you. it's all because of me." He set down as tears came out of his eyes.

"Adreil, this is not your fault, don't even think that for even a second. It's happening because of many things which shouldn't have done and yo hate not even related to any of them, so don't blame yourself for that. No matter what happens to me I'll be with you forever, no one can make us apart."

They hugged each other and calmed down.

"Now go to your bed and sleep without thinking about that, okay? you have to go to work tomorrow early."

They went to their homes resting all the stress and slept good. The peaceful night was becoming more and more calm. It was the calmness before the storm, no one knew.
