The Storm Is Coming

The sky was dark and it is a bit cold.

Yuheng and the little snake was eating inside the house when Yuheng suddenly feel something from the outside.

He look at the dark sky through the open window.

He was in silent for a long time.

The little snake look at his master and at then the window.He saw nothing there and continue eating his food.

"The earth is broken and the winds is crying"

murmured Yuheng to himself

He look around and see that this home of his is really old will soon collapse,he was a bit worried.

"Little snake,we need to fix our home a little!"

He said to the little snake

The little snake didn't understand his master and just hiss back at Yuheng as an answer.

After they finish eating,Yuheng walk towards the bed and take out a wooden box from beneath the bed.

He wipe the dust away and slowly open it.

Inside the box there was a hammer,nails,saw and other things that can be used to build a house.

"Mn,I think we can use those board from the old house that collapsed.."said Yuheng

When part of this shack had collapse long ago,he didn't throw away those woods and board that still cam be use and put it outside the house.

He then go outside with the tools.

The little snake didn't know what should he do and just follow his master to the outside.

Yuheng then go to the side and take a look at the boards and woods.

"Mn!It still can be used!

He then start to divide the materials.

At the afternoon,he start his works and 'pa' sound could be heard around.He start to put a fending on the shack four core.

"Alright it should be enough to hold"

he wipe the sweat on his forehead

Hia fair white skin had reddened a bit.

"Now I should find some dried grass for my roof..the stone one had all been hole"

The spirits beast nearby had long come to see that Yuheng is trying to fix his shack.

"Woo~"

When Yuheng is busy cutting the wood,he heard a howl from behind hin and immedietly turn around.

It was that three wolf who he had help before.

To Yuheng surprise was that,the three wolf had bring other wolf with them and on those wolf mouth was a dried grass that he need for his roof!

"Is this for me?!"

ask Yuheng

The three wolf let out a howl and the other wolf move forwards then put the dried grass infront of Yuheng.

"Thank you,you should go back too..the storm is coming and this one is a big one"He said to the wolf

The wolf then let out a howl and get away from there.

Yuheng look at those departing wolf and at the dried grass and smile.These wolf had pay Yuheng back for helping their leader.

"Okay,let's start working on the roof..I need a ladder.."

He then go to the back of his house to get the ladder.

After that he put the ladder by the side of the house and go to the front to take those dried grass.

The dried grass just need to get tied up together before placing it on the roof.After that Yuheng need to find a heavy rock to heavy weight the grass roof.

"Little snake,go and find a string inside that wooden box I place on the table"said Yuheng

The little snake now was not that 'little' anymore.

A few days ago,when Yuheng had gone out to find some fruit for dinner.Yuheng found a green rock like crystal.

When he comeback,the little snake saw that crystal and he seems to like it.Yuheng didn't know what to do with and since it like that,he just give it to the little snake.

The next morning,Yuheng was shocked to see that there's another snake inside his house.

Soon after,he find out that it was actually the little snake that had evolved after consuming the crystal he found.

The little snake size now was big as an arm of a child and five meters long.The green-blue colour on his scale was even more deep than before.

Now the little snake can help Yuheng more,just like now,taking a string inside the house for Yuheng.

After while,the little snake comeback with a roll of string in his mouth.The little snake then put the string infront of Yuheng and comeback to watch from the side.

Two days later,he had finish on his fixing and ready to face the great storm.

"Finally done!"

Yuheng wipe the sweat on his forehead and cheer.

In this two days time,he had repair the roof with a dried grass and patch the hole on the wall.

The little snake also had help a lot in this two days.

"Now we need to find enough food yhat can last for a few weeks"said Yuheng with concerns

The storm here was very weird,it will last for one or two weeks before dissipsting and this great storm is coming.

Yuheng didn't now how long it will last.

He then tidy up everything and left with the little snake to search for food in the valley not far from their shack.

When they reach the outskirts of the valley,they saw less spirits beasts around.Normally,there were many spirits beast aroun this valley.

Today there's only few were roaming here.

"They should've know that there were storm coming"

murmured Yuheng

Yuheng then enter the valley with the little snake.

They walk towards one direction,in that direction there were many fruit tree and herbs.Since he was going to get some fruit,he will also pick the herbs there.

He had brought a basket with him to place the fruit and herbs.It was a very big basket made from bamboo strings.

If this basket full,it should be enough for him for two or three weeks.There was only him in home and the little snake didn't really eat fruit.

After that,he search for some raw meat for the little snake.Thank god he found four rabbit along the way.

It should be enough for them to eat for one or two weeks since Yuheng didn't really eat rabbit meat and the little snake only eat once every two days.

The rabbit should be smoke to prevent it from wasted.

When they arrive home,Yuheng place the fruit and herbs below the table and he immedietky clean the rabbit.

When he was cleaning the rabbit he saw that the place where the little snake used to sleep had been a bit worn out.

"Little snake,why don't you go and find some dried leaves for your nest?look at that cloth had worn out and it'll be uncomfortable"

"The snake outside ususlly use some dried leaves and grass to warm their nest.You shoukd try it too"

Yunheng said that to the little snake.

The little snake look at Yuheng and hiss at him.

He then move outside the house,maybe try to find some dried leaves for it nest.

Yuheng then continue cleaning the rabbit.

The rabbit blood had perch on his clean robe and Yuheng need to wash it later when he out bathing in the waterfall ponds.
