Clarissa's father, Duke Edger Rudolferd insisted Clarissa to choose a marriage partner by accepting one of the requests she received.
Clarissa agreed to it but one a condition that if the person defeats her in the dual, then she will agree
Dual is held in the training arena of the imperial Knights
Total of eight out of 12 dual requests were accepted that Duke Edger Rudolferd sent while replying to this marriage proposal for his daughter.
All the candidates were there in the arena however not all of them were participating in dual competition by themselves. They brought their Knights to fight for them.

Very honest and kind towards his vessels and everyone in the duchy.

28 years old
Very strong and brave. He use to work as knight in the imperial army but on kings orders he wes assiged to manage his land also act as country's councilor for foreign affairs.

24 years old,
He has a very cheerful and easy going personality. He was the first one to accept dual challenge because he thinks it was interesting. Because of his personality, he is very famous with women.
Duke Ethelred Leonidas
21 years old
The youngest to be entitled the position as the duke. He is a very good with sword as well as very genuine business man. He learned swordsmanship with Clarissa and Laurence and ever since that, they are good friends.
Currently he is very unhappy because he couldn't participate in dual challenge with Clarissa and Laurence is acting as his substitute.
Duke Ewart Tregosse
Age 25 years.
He lost the imperial knight exam against Clarissa so ever since that he is wanting to defeat her in any way possible.
Duke Able Augustus
Age 23 years
He is in love with Clarissa for many years as they attended the same academy. He tried to confessed to her many times but never gotten the chance. He was the first candidate to send the marriage proposal.
Marquess Edus Griffith
Age 25 years
He is very strict and doesn't like women being in dominant roles. His main reason is to defeat Clarissa and marry her to show he is more stronger.
Knight Francis Leopold
Age 23 years
Knight of Augustus duchy.
He is fighting on behalf of the duke Able Augustus.
Knight Laurence Pryor
Age: 21 years
Knight of Leonidas duchy
He is fighting for duke Ethelred Leonidas as his substitute.
Knight Jairus Casbourn
Age: 24 years
Knight of Griffith state and participating in the dual as substitute for Marquess Edus Griffith.
Like his lord, Marquess Edus Griffith, he also despises Clarissa and want to win against her.
