She had been working for less than two hours and she already know that it had been a mistake to come . As she knows that not showing up for work means not getting paid and that would not be in her favor . Especially now couldn't risk losing it.. . A flu had wiped her out for nearly a week , leaving her without income .

Although she was bit shaky , still draged herself to work . As she walked through the front door of the cafe . she tried her best to get through this tough day smoothly , but still she was mixing up her orders , breaking dishes and so on...

She know very well that the manager , who is itching to fire her for a long time and now she is basically giving him a great excuse to get rid of her..

A young couple with a baby stroller made their way to her section , so she walked over to them . The couple was chatting and laughing with each other while the baby was sleeping peacefully in the stroller.

" Good afternoon " she mumured , trying hard to keep standing straight .

" Would you like anything to drink ? " Now only the woman noticed her and was about to give her order but her companion interrupted her .

"Oh my God !! is that really you Lisa ? " the man said

Lisa's mind went blank at this instance for

some unknown reason ,after sometime she reacted and raised her hand to cover her mouth as to swallow her cry when she recognized the handsome man standing in front of her .

Her vision blurred and she blinked rapidly to clear it . Not only her but the baby was also startled awake by the man's harsh voice and started crying .

"So this is where you were hiding out all this time " Now the shock had disappeared from his voice to be replaced by contempt .

"Ricky " She murmured or can be said whispered .. overwhelmed by shock fear and relief all at a same time .

" Don't call me that " he growled in Warning and continued " God you're an ice cold bitch , aren't you ? How could you stay away all this time ? How could you live peacefully after doing such a thing ? Don't you feel disgused by yourself "

" Please " She said same as Whisper .

" please don't "

" Don't want , call a spade a spade " he sneered .

" Rick " The woman whom Lisa have forgotten about spoke up while she keep her voice low and keep rocked the still crying baby .

" Take it easy for Heaven's sake , she doesn't look well and what's going on here "

"Of course she doesn't look well " he scoffed

" Why would she look well when , she had finally been caught like the miserable little sneak that she is " he said

Lisa swayed even more . Rick had never spoken to her like this before .It wasn't in his gentle nature to be so cruel and Lisa started trembling even more terribly .
