Chapter 4

Who are you?

"Welcome back, Master" said the maids while in a perfect line. Belinda, the head maid of the mansion is a strict woman. She's a born commoner, I saw her almost got molested by those drunkard guys. She was sold off into a Baron for the debt of her parents. Among the people working here, only two of them know what I really am and Belinda is one of them that's why I trust her and the other one is my secret shadow guard.

"Belinda, get this child in one of the guest rooms. Give him necessities if there aren't any in the mansion" Belinda nod her head before she brought the child to one of the rooms. We've been together since earlier. If I'm not mistaken, the child's name is Aaron while his brother is Andrew.

I ask him to go with me. His brother is not with him and they do not have a house that's why I decided to take him with me. I may be indifferent towards humans at first but I've been living with them for so many years that I can't disregard something like this.

Cason, the Guild Master is one of the most dangerous people I have ever met. When we were about to go he said something.

( FLASHBACK )

"Since we have our deal done, we will go now. I'm looking forward to the information that I'm looking for" he didn't say anything and just smiled like something is interesting. He touched his lips and sigh.

"You..." I raised my left eyebrow. He mumbled to himself. He seems to be confused and in debate with himself.

"Do you have anything to say?" I said.

"Oh it was nothing... My Lady."

When I was in front of the door I heard him say something... Something that only he asks about me other than those who saw it with their own eyes.

"I'm sure... No. I don't know why but my intuition is saying that there is something wrong.. Something that cannot be described by words. Just... Who are you? What... Are you?" he said softly to me. To be more precise, he is talking to his self. I can't move my own two legs.

I was glued in front of the door. Just what did I hear? What did I do wrong to arouse his suspicion? No... Is it because of the way I talk? But.. This is how people here talk. People here believe in a God, the founder of this world. Though, It's not that big of a deal if someone finds out that I am not human. If worse comes to worst then I will erase their memories of me. The problem is my power that hasn't awakened for a very long time.

I can choose to copulate with humans but if their body can't take my power then they'll die and my power will decrease.

'Sigh'

What should I do now? I do not regret that I helped Aaron to find his brother. I can only hope that Cason won't find out so soon or better yet, he will not find out about it in his whole life but I know that it is just my wishful thinking. I laid down in my bedand stares at the ceiling.

I didn't do something extreme to make me this tired. Gradually, I fell asleep.

THIRD PERSON'S POINT OF VIEW

Cason is thinking deeply about Kala. He never thought that there was someone like her. She is extraordinarily outstanding and alluring. There is something that is pulling him to her. Something that he can't explain. When Kala took off the cloak on her head, he was standing by her mesmerising beauty. With her silvery white and curly hair that took his breath away for a second and her green eyes that will give you a feeling like you are in paradise. Her red lips that no one can disregard and a little pointed nose with her small face.

His heart was beating loudly. He thought that he was dreaming. When Kace, one of his right hand that is taking a shift of a bartender informed him that there is someone asking for his attendance. He never thought that it would turn out like this.

"Master.. What did you talk about with that person?" Athalos or Tal. The best fighter in the Guild, second to him said. He looks so serious.

"Something interesting" is the only word he said to them. The four guys were confused. They didn't know what that person was talking to their Master.

"There seems to be something wrong with the Master, right?" Laru, an identical twin of Haru said while eating. One of the minds of the Guild. He is the one behind their transactions together with his brother, Haru.

"Did something happen?" said by Kace to the three, Laru, Haru and Tal. They are talking to each other because Cason, their Master is leaning to his chair while touching his lips. They can't get Cason's attention no matter what they do.

"Mingling and interrupting is not a good choice. You know Master. If something takes his interest, he won't stop unless he is tired of it." said Haru while his eyes are on the books. At the end, they all ignored what happened. While Cason is mumbling something on his own.

" Should I let Tal go and find all about her? How come I didn't know she existed? Is she new here? No.. The way she knew about the secret code of our guild means she's been living here in the Cazar Empire and if it is not the case then she should be known all across the world by her extraordinary beauty and domineering aura"

Hmmm this is interesting

"Oh look here... Where did this one stem of rose come from?" Kace said. The other three guys look at him and pick up the yellow rose. Laru snatched away the rose and played with it in his hand and smelled it.

"This smells nice" his twin brother just shook his head and continued to read while Tal sighed and put a hand on his face and closed his eyes. Kace and Laru were arguing, the reason why Cason was interrupted to his own world.

"It's noisy. What the heck are you doing?" he said seriously. Laru pout and pointed a finger on Kace.

"Kace is trying to snatch my flower away!"

"Hey.. Hey, hey. I was the first one that saw the flower. So it is basically my flower."

"Flower? Why are you arguing with a flower? Just buy a flower in the flower shop. Anyway.. Where did that flower come from?" said by Cason. He organised his desk and was about to start his business.

"But it smells nice. Kace saw it here in your office Master. I was just about to ask you where you got it but then again you don't like flowers, right?" Laru said while pouting.

"Why does... Ah. Give me the flower" Cason walk towards Kace's direction and snatch the flower away. He smelled it then after a second he smiled happily.

'*Cason's mind right now'

"It smells just like her*"

He looks at the other guys when he notices that they are keeping quiet. His smiles vanish and regain his composure.

"Aheem... I will confiscate this flower because you are all noisy and disturbing me. Do your designated works and stop being lazy. Now... Get out."

The four guys were in shock because Cason touched the flower. They still remember, One time someone gave a flower to him and he got mad and put it on fire in front of that person. He was like a dragon that was about to emit fire.

" Oh before that, give me the information of that fck up guy"

Laru tilts his head "Fck up guy who?" his brother shook his head and stood up.

"Stupid. It's the Master of Scorpion"

"Ehhhh?!"

In Laru's mind

Fck up guy? Scorpion's Master?

They all can just shake their heads and sigh.
