Chapter 2: Entering New Beginning.

Yamano slowly open his eyes as he can see Captain Lensz sitting in front of him. He remembered that he's got kidnapped by these unknown soldiers.

" Good morning, Yusuri-san." Captain Lensz said.

" Wait a minute. How can I hear you? Usually, we cannot hear people talking in helicopters." Yamano said.

" This helicopter is different from the human world's helicopter." Captain Lensz.

" Human World? This is getting weird." Yamano said.

" I've seen worse." Captain Lensz.

" So, where are you taking me? You're not going to put me in jail, right?" Yamano asked.

" Of course not. You are our VIP now. We just save you from hanging yourself on the fan. Yes, I can see a noose in your room." Darren said.

Yamano starting to close his eyes.

" So, you knew it." Yamano said.

" Yusuri-san, there still a lot of things to discover. You can't just end your life there." Captain Lensz said.

" Easy for you to say. I just got fired, my girlfriend dumped me for another rich boyfriend and already late to pay my electric bill, water bill and the rent yet I used my final paycheck to buy a cake. Look how sad it is. I'm a sad loner who lost everything and hoping for a dream that will never become true after all." Yamano sad.

" Mind if I ask you this one very question? What is your dream?" Captain Lensz asked.

" To have a family so I won't be lonely anymore. Laugh all you want. It's a pointless dream." Yamano said.

" So, it's true after all. We can continue to proceeded with our mission." Captain Lensz said.

" What mission? I'm so confused right now?" Yamano said.

" Take a look. You're going to live a happy life after this." Captain Lensz said.

When Yamano look outside, he saw a huge, beautiful, futuristic complex. At first glanced, he can see a luxurious hotel, a variety of shopping mall and an modernised office.

Yamano was amazed.

" What kind of place is this??" Yamano asked.

" This is The Headquarters. A place where human and monster-girl cooperates among themselves. They can do all sorts of activity here. In this place too, we focused on helping monster-girl to live together with human so they can live in a harmonious life." Captain Lensz said.

" Wait!! Monster-girl??" Yamano suprised.

" Yes. Monster-girl are not human. They are non-human creature despite of their looks. They look like human but they have additional body parts such as wings, animal tails, animal ears and many more." Captain Lensz said.

As the helicopters landed on the helicopter spaces, Captain Lensz opens the door and both of them walks out from the helicopter.

" Let's go. We're going to meet someone. She dying to see you. Help me find her. It's kinda hard to find her sometimes. Look for a long haired woman that wears white labcoat." Captain Lensz asked.

" Whatever you said, Captain." Yamano sarcastically said.

" There's no need for sarcasm. I have a name, you know." Captain Lensz.

As both of them searching for this "woman in a labcoat", Yamano can hear everyone whispered about him.

" Is that Yamano Yusuri. Wow, he look so handsome." One of the bystanders said.

" We finally found him after so many years." the bystanders whispered.

" Okay. Run along now but tell the others that Yamano Yusuri is here." Captain Lensz.

Suddenly, they can hear someone is calling them both.

" Both of you. Over here. Hellooooo~~~" Someone called Yamano and Captain Lensz.

Yamano turn his head around. He look everywhere for a woman in a labcoat but she nowhere to be seen. When Yamano look infront, a little girl standing infront of him. She have to raise her head high just to look at Yamano's face. Yamano slowly kneels right infront of her.

" What can I help you, little girl??" Yamano said.

The little girl suddenly caressed Yamano's cheeck.

" Oh, I really hope that it's not an insult." the little girl said in a matured voice.

Yamano was suprised as he sit on the floor.

" Woah. Woah. Woah." Yamano was suprised.

" I usually hit anyone that called me "little girl" but this is the first time you met me so, I'm going to make an exception for this." the little girl told

" That's what she said." Captain Lensz jokingly added.

" Enough, Darren. I'm going to beat you after this. Just you wait." the little girl said.

" Your name is Darren??" Yamano said.

" Yes, I totally forgot to introduce myself properly. My name is Darren Lensz. I'm a Level-3 Coordinator and may I introduce you to Dr.Sarah Lensz, one of the greatest doctor in The Headquarters." Darren said.

Yamano was suprised that both of them are related.

" So, you guys are siblings, right??" Yamano asked.

" Yes. Darren and I are siblings. Darren can be quite an idiotic little brother sometimes but he still my little brother." Sarah said.

This one really left Yamano in quite a shocking state.

" Wait. Wait. Wait. Dr.Sarah is your big sister?? How old are you, Darren??" Yamano asked.

" I'm 19 years old. Yes, I know that you're older than me but you don't want to know my big sister's age. She's so old, she can be older than your grandmother, if you have one." Darren said.

Sarah suddenly hit Darren's stomach. Sarah has small hands so Darren didn't feel anything.

" This is what you get for calling me " a grandmother", Darren-kun." Sarah hit Darren.

" Aww.. That's cute." Darren laughed at Sarah.

Yamano really can see Sarah and Darren's sibling relationship. Yamano smiled when looking at them arguing.

" Oh, I'm sorry for my little brother's idiotic quips but we really need to go now." Sarah said.

Darren grabbed his walkie-talkie and communicate with it.

" Hello. Can we get a mobile cart here? We have a VIP guest here with us." Darren said.

A few minutes later, a cart arrived with a driver. The driver took Yamano, Darren and Sarah to the main entrance of the Headquarters. When they entered the main entrance, they saw a golden statue in the middle of the building. Yamano, Sarah and Darren walking towards the statue.

" They just put it this morning. It look so beautiful." Sarah said.

" Yamano, take a look at the wall. There's a letter in it." Darren said.

Yamano quickly read the plate.

...^^^" THIS STATUE IS DEDICATED TO OUR BELOVED HERO, YAMANO YUSURI, FOR PROTECTING MONSTER-GIRL RACES FROM THE EVIL ORDER. MAY GOD BLESSED HIS ANGELIC SOULS" ^^^...

Yamano was suprised. His name is on the wall.

" My name?? How can my name written in this wall??" Yamano asked.

" Didn't you remember anything about " The Mamono Village incident"?? You are a hero back then. You really did a number on the evil Order. You're the only one that able to make The Order retreated to their fortress." Darren said.

" You said it like I have a past life in this dimension. I ensure you, this is all a mistake. This isn't me. I'm no hero. Just a sympathetic loser." Yamano said.

Sarah suddenly whispered something to Darren.

" Woah, he's totally forgot about all of this. We need to reunite him with you know who. That might jog his memory." Sarah said.

" She's better be ready." Darren replied.

" What are you guys talking about??" Yamano asked.

" Nothing. Don't mind us." Sarah said.

" Come on, let's go to your very own room." Darren cut the conversation.

Darren and Sarah escorting Yamano to the hotel section of the Headquarters.

" Here we are. Your very own hotel room." Sarah said.

Sarah opens the door. When Yamano look at his room, he didn't think that his room has a large space and modern interior designs. They got everything in there.

" Wait. You can fit an entire house in this room.This is too expensive for me. Darren, you know that I don't have enough money for all of this." Yamano said.

" This room is yours. Make yourself at home. Don't worry, this is a gift from us to you." Sarah said.

Yamano slowly smiled as he got a new home to stay but he need to adjust slowly because he needs time to make himself at home.

" That's the smile. We probably should go now. Make yourself at home but meet me tomorrow at the food court." Sarah said.

" I don't know what to say. Thank you for giving me a new home. Darren, I'm glad that you saved my life." Yamano said.

" It's okay, Yamano-kun. Go get some rest. You need it." Darren said.

" Let's go, Darren-chan." Sarah teased Darren.

" Stop calling me that." Darren mad.

" You know that I won't stop teasing you, right??" Sarah hold Darren's hand.

Both of them walked away from Yamano's room. Yamano closed the door slowly and walked around the room. He entered a leisure room where he saw a free-for-all vending machine, three arcade machine, a massage chair, a gaming laptop and so much more.

" Wait, I know that I love to play games but for me, this is too much." Yamano said.

When he entered the bathroom, he can see a large bathtub, a temperature-control shower and many more.

" There's no need for a bathtub. One shower is enough for me." Yamano said.

Then, Yamano walked towards the bedroom, he saw a large closet. There's a lot of cloth for Yamano but he noticed half of the closet is empty. Yamano turn his attention to the bed. He noticed that the bed is a queen size bed with two pillow and one huge blankets.

" And again, this is too much for me." Yamano sighed.

Finally, Yamano undressed himself so he can take a shower. After that, he wore a bath robe and went to the vending machine. There's a variety of food, snacks and drinks in there. Yamano has to push the button of what he wants to eat. Among all the delicious food, he chose a loaf of potato bread that he loves to eat.

He ate it in front of the huge television but didn't turn it on. Yamano loves the quiet surroundings.

He finally laid down on the bed and try to close his eyes.

" There's still hope after all. Thank for this opportunity."

Finally, Yamano close his eyes and entered the world of dreams.
