Chapter 5: “The two of…us?”

It’s Sunday morning again. Liam said Momma wants us to visit. I must prepare my ears. I’m sure Momma will-

“Waaaaahhh! Guys! Am I needed to come? My head hurts!”

“Zy, don’t try to escape. Aunt Momma wants you to come. You’re just making lame excuses”

*Disappointed*

-in Zy’s mind-

“How can they be so heartless, Tim called me lame! Tsk!”

“Come on Zy, we’re here! Are you scared of Aunt Momma?”

“How can he be not scared, last time Aunt Momma scold him, she made a gross pumpkin plum for Zy to eat. HAHAHAHAHHA! You should see your face back there. You look awf-“

/They arrived at the Ghalie Villa, the house of Zy's parents./

*open gate*

/At the entrance, Momma were impatiently waiting for his stubborn son to step on the floor of the house. Zy doesn’t want to get off the car, but Liam drag him out/

“Aunt Momma! Hi! It’s so good to see you! You’re still as fresh as a newly picked red rose.”

“Hey! Liam! Are you planning on courting my mom?”

/There was a deep silence inside the house but gladly, Peter, father of Zy arrived at the very moment/

“What is going on here? Liam? After all this time, you still didn’t change! I will tell your dad about this to have him arrange a marriage for you!”

“Uncle Peter! Haha! Please don’t tell dad. I won’t stole Aunt Momma to you, probably Zy will kill me.”

“Haha! Better be. I’m going sweetie! Take care okay?”

*Zy looked at Liam with murderous eyes*

Dad gave mom a kiss before he leaves. Where is he going this time? But he always says it’s not my business. *pout* whatever! I’m hungry.

“Okay that’s enough! I didn’t call you here to play around! I heard th-“

*stomach crumbled*

“Fine! Let’s eat breakfast first!”

/Momma doesn’t have any choice since she can’t resist the boy's cute faces begging her to serve food for them/

-after breakfast-

/Momma resume her lecture to the four idiots. She scold and scold. Especially to Zy/

“Zy, I assumed you knew half the truth but how could you pick a fight to your brothers huh?! (referring to his best friends). Their parents were abroad and they trusted me to look after them and you!”

Mom’s mad at me every time that I’m fighting with my friends. We’re like brothers and for Momma, we are her sons.

“Zy, my baby, you know I never meddle your businesses especially if it’s too personal for you. But I can not just sit here if I know something’s wrong.”

Right, my parents and friends doesn’t have the habit to interfere, but if one is in trouble, they will move.

“If my dear Dan is a girl, no such problem should have happened! That stupid doctor! He said Paty's baby is a girl! I’m still mad about it until now!!”

Mom seems to be talking about Aunt Paty. Aunt Paty is Mom’s best friend and Dan’s mom. That’s all I know for now thanks to my amnesia.

/Well, well, seems like our ml doesn’t know the story that their mother always talks about when they were little. So Momma will tell a story./

“Aunt Momma? What are you saying? Am I supposed to be a girl?”

“Well dear Dan, I’ll tell you. Such a very good coincidence. Don’t you know Me, Paty, Mila ( Tim’s mom) and Heidy (Liam’s mom) were best friend!”

“And not just that! Your fathers and my husband were best friends too!”

*shocked again*

“ Fortunately, Paty gave birth first before me. The doctor says it’s a girl so we made a deal that when you grow, you will get married to each other”

-Dan and Zy’s mind seems lose at the moment-

“Damn that doctor! Now I feel disappointed again! I better call Paty!”

What the! What does mom thinking? Marry? Wait…what? Dan! I’m still confused right now.

“Aunt Momma? May I ask you?”

“Yes, my dear Tim, what is it?”

I don’t have a good feeling about this! Every time Tim asked, it will be part of his boredom’s pill.

“If Dan is a girl…what would be his name?”

/Dan suddenly feels weird, he hates the idea but he likes to be a girl./

“Why are you laughing at it! Huh? Stop now Liam and Tim! Even you Zy!”

*Dan is trying hard to hold his laugh*

“Alright! Stop teasing Dan now!”

“We’ve been thinking about this but I don’t know if you want it.”

“What is it Aunt Momma?”

Now I feel so nervous.

“A plane ticket???”

“Who’s going to use this Momma?”

“It’s for the four of you! You’re going to Yany's Resort in Canada”

Wow. This is new. I’ve never been in such place.

“Wow! Aunt Momma, is this a vacation? I’m so excited! Maybe there are a lot of ladies th-“

“No! You’re not going there for vacation you idiots! You are going there for business matters. You will graduate soon and will handle the business which all you fathers have built.”

Liam and Tim seems excited again. All they know is to chase girls but never been in a serious relationship.

“Your flight will be this afternoon. So get ready.”

“Why all of a sudden Mom? What about our class tomorrow?”

Wait…I don’t know but I really don’t want to go to school either. Even though I’m they’re president, I’m sick of school events and activities.

“You don’t have to worry about that! Even if you fail at school, surely, you will have a future.”

My mother has a point.

/After discussing, The four boys have packed their things. Momma is pretty worried about how things will be after they will arrive but she knows they can handle it./

-1:00 pm-

/They got on board and arrive at the Canada Airlines./

*screaming girls*

“Waaahh! Oh my gosh! They are so hot!”

At this moment, I want to kill Tim and Liam! They are too embarrassing. I don’t know them. I don’t know them. I don’t know them. I don’t know them.

/Dan seems quite since his history got revealed. A moment later they have realized that they don’t know where to go or where is the Yany's Resort. So they spend their 2 hours at the airport./

I was quite for a bit but I’m upset too!

“Relax Liam! Momma sent me an email. She said there will a lady to fetch us.”

Wow! Who is this lady? She seems young and I think she’s at my mom’s age. No! We’re here for business. Not to mind other’s businesses.

/The woman just stared and laughed at them./

“HAHAHAHA! I’m one of best friend’s mom but you called me young lady!”

/It was then, Dan is too late to realize that it was Paty, his mom./

/He was suppose to hug her Mom but he was hit by Liam and Tim./

*Angry*

“How could you not recognized your mom huh? You little brat!”

Liam seems pretty upset and embarrassed since he called Dan’s mom a young lady. How could Dan not recognized his own mom?!

“Aunt Paty. Why are you here?”

I just got curious why she was the one who will fetch us.

“Wait until we get to Yany’s Resort. But let’s eat first, I know you’re hungry my darlings.”

Dan’s mom is sweet and charming. She knows how to talk to us. After we ate, she drove all the way to the resort. It was 7:00 pm when we get there because Tim got a diarrhea. He can’t leave the comfort room and pharmacies are far so we have to wait until his stomach is okay. It was a mess.

/It was a family meeting held at the VIP section. Zy, Dan, Tim and Liam doesn’t know that their fathers are part of it./

*opens the door*

“Good evening Masters!”

The butlers seems familiar to me but I can’t remember where and when I met them.

“Zy!”

Says a man called my name in a corner, in his hand is a glass of champagne, wearing a white business attire looking elegant but simple. And it was …

“Dad!!”

/The four of them shouted “Dad” the moment they saw their fathers on the same place./

“Why do you looked surprise huh? I’m in Canada for almost a year and yet you don’t know it?”

“Dad! Mother never told us about you all being in here.”

I forgot to mention that my dad is a CEO at our company. I don’t even know that we have a company, thanks to my amnesia. Now the situation will be, truly …

“Exciting! Hey! Liam! Let’s talk to that lady over there! She’s so hot!”

Tim's eyes are shining with excitement every time he sees a girl. This night will be fun now that my Dad and his friends are all here. But I hope Liam and Tim wouldn’t be an embarrassment for us this night. I would totally pretend that I don’t know them if it happens.

“Ehem! Guys we’re here for business. Don’t do anything embarrassing. Wait until this meeting is over.”

“You are just like your father Zy!”

Another man is approaching to our direction.

“Uncle Louise! Hi!”

“You’ve grown a lot Zy- *whisper* how is Dan’s doing?”

Uncle Louise is Dan’s father. I don’t know but they are not that close as father and son.

“Don’t worry Uncle! He’s doing just fine.”

“Tell me if he does something to you okay?”

Wow. I’m confused about Uncle Louise. He knows something for sure. Or maybe he does really care about Dan but he’s not showing it.

“what are you guys talking about? You didn’t forget that I’m still here right?”

I thought Dad already leave but he’s still standing at our center.

“Dad, Unc-“

“Peter, my lovely sweetie! Honey pie!”

I want to laugh at this very moment but I’m holding back.

He’s my father, I must not laugh at him.

*Tim, Dan and Liam laughed*

“You are still embarrassing Louise! Please don’t call me that. It’s gross!”

“Oh come on! I miss our old times now that I see our sons. We are at their age before. So much for that, I really miss you my darling! Can I kiss you?”

“Kiss my *ss you pervert!”

Now that I think about it, Dan must have inherited this trait from Uncle Louise and as well as I am to my dad. I hope that until the end, our friendship will last forever. I can’t stop smiling while watching this sight from them. A very strong friendship.

“Hey! Tim! Do you see what I see?”

*looked to the direction of Liam’s eyes*

“Aha! I see that!”

/Well, unfortunately, since Tim and Liam has this kind of attitude, I assumed you already know what their fathers are doing./

*Disappointed* *stress*

“Our Dads are choosing ladies over us as their son, I can’t believe they are talking to hot ladies! I can’t lose! I’ll show my dad that I’m better than him!”

“Let’s go!”

I really want to drag them out of here, they are too embarrassing.

/A little info about Tim and Liam’s mother, they died when they are giving birth to them. Though it was the situation, their father never blamed them. They raise and supported their son. Their fathers are flirtatious but they never love anyone else except their wives whom they married./

“Liam! Tim! Do flirting later!”

The meeting is too tiring but I have spend precious times with Dad and everyone else. It ended well except for Liam and Tim. They didn’t get the chance to talk to the ladies at the meeting earlier since their fathers are much better at socializing. Now they look depressed.

*at the hotel*

“I’m tired!”

“Sleep then.”

Dan doesn’t look tired at all. He didn’t even say much words at the meeting. I’m off to bed but while walking, Dan suddenly back-hug me. It’s creepy.

“Ah-Dan? What are you doing?”

“Just a moment. Stay like this. Zy, you think my father likes me?”

Could it be that he is jealous? I mean, I’m closer to Uncle Louise than him.

“What are you talking about? Are you drunk Dan?”

“You know I don’t drink. How am I supposed to get drunk?”

Right. I forgot. None of us likes drinking or smoking.

“Wh-why are you asking that question? Of course he likes you!”

I have this feeling that Dan is sad about the fact that he’s not close to his father like we do.

“That’s all, go to sleep. Sorry for interrupting you.”

He let go of me finally. He was about to leave when I suddenly hold his arm like I don’t want him to go.

-in Zy’s mind-

“What am I doing?!”

I looked at Dan’s eyes, he is crying..?

At the second time, I hug him tight. My body is acting on it’s own. I don’t even know what I’m doing. But all I want is to comfort Dan at least. He hug me back and cried.

“What is this feeling? I feel like I’m hurt just by seeing Dan acting like this. My heart skips a bit. I’m a weirdo. But I can feel Dan’s heart. It beats faster. Is this possible?...The two of…us?
