Episode 4

A few days had already passed and neither of them had talked with each other. Dorian decides to give the both of them some space coz sometimes distance can make a relationship stronger, even if they didn't really have one, afterall he did catch her trying to seek his attention a few times afterwards.

"Dorian, was it?" Finally she was the first person to strike the conversation." Yes it's Dorian. What do you want Tem?" " Well I want to talk to you about something and I hope that you'll keep it a secret for me," he found it rather unusual that a girl like Temari would come to seek help from a guy like him.

"Tem, are you in trouble?" Just asking that question made her cry. Dorian found it hard to believe that he actually saw Temari cry. He could see tears cascade down her cheeks, that is when he realized that whatever the case was, it wasn't something simple.

Slowly, he directed her to a peaceful and quiet place to talk coz the matter didn't seem simple, especially not when Temari was crying in front of him." We are clear now Tem, tell me what's wrong," he was so concerned about her that he didn't even realize that he was holding her but for some reason she seemed glad that he was , he could tell from the way she looked at him.

She started crying even louder and that automatically made him hug her and he didn't hesitate to hold her tight in his arms. She, on the other hand didn't reject his embrace but rather took advantage of another person's care. " I'm sorry Dorian, I know we aren't even friends but your the only person who can help me at a situation like this, please help me." Dorian's mind was so confused, he couldn't bring himself to think that she would ask for his help, it was all like a dream to him but he wasn't sure why she wanted his help, afterall they barely know each other in the present.

"But how can I help you, I mean you don't even know me. Why do you think I can help you?" Although he was happy that she turned to him at a time when she desperately needed someone, something about her asking his help seemed off and not right.

She was thinking about what he'd said but she still hasn't let go of his embrace, something about him made her feel at ease and made her feel like she could do anything as long as he was there. " Look Dorian I know it's hard for you to believe that I'll seek help from you after I rejected you before, but please your the only person I know who can help me." Finally letting him go she raised her tiny head and looked  directly into his dark brown eyes. Her looking at him that way kinda made his heart flutter a bit but he had to shake away the feeling for a moment.

"Ok fine, I'll help you but....that does mean we are friends right?" He knew it wasn't really the right time to ask about it  but he just simply couldn't help himself. Temari gave a light laugh, "well, yes that makes us friends." Dorian felt happy and contempt coz she laughed because of him even if it was a light laugh.

"Honestly..." she went on," I wanted to be friends with you from the moment you talked to me, but you see I'm pretty careful with whom I make friends with and I couldn't just let myself make friends with you, sorry." She wasn't looking him in the eye anymore, she was rather looking down and spoke in a guilty tone.

"So does that mean you did a background check on me?" Obviously Dorian was only trying to make her smile a bit but he didn't really expect the answer he received afterwards, "I didn't really do any background checks but.....I have been.... observing you and I found out that ...your a...descent guy."

Well it seemed like he wasn't the only person who was a 'stalker'. He couldn't believe she'd actually do that, " you stalker!" " Hey don't get me wrong I just wanted to know you better before making friends with you, ok." She seemed somewhat offended but in a good way. "Ok ok , I'm just joking!" This was the most natural conversation that he'd had with her from the moment he woke up to this world.

" So ,tell me Tem, what do you need my help for?" when he asked that question, her mood changed drastically. He could tell just by looking at her that she was afraid. That was all he had to see to know what was coming was not very simple.
