Chapter 5 cinq

Jimin decided he never wanted to kiss anyone who wasn’t Jeongguk. Not for the rest of his life.

He found himself staring one too many times at the alpha’s lips, like now. He was lying on his tummy on Jeongguk’s huge bed, watching as he paced around the room. Jeongguk was on the phone, trying to explain to his personal assistant why he was going to work from home today too, and the assistant was obviously not impressed with his motifs.

Jimin had heard about Namjoon before. As well as being his assistant he was one of Jeongguk’s closest friends, so the omega could understand why he had so many questions. Jimin had told the alpha that he should go back to work, but the man had told him that there was no hurry, and that he trusted his team to take care of everything.

Jeongguk was too kind for his own good, but Jimin knew that the main reason why he refused to go back was because he wanted to spend more time with him, and keep him company through this strange, scary phase, he was going through.

“I’m sure you can figure something out –” Jeongguk’s sentence was suddenly interrupted and his eyebrows furrowed as he listened to his interlocutor’s voice. “I’m sure you can take care of that on your own. If you feel overwhelmed you can always ask Yoongi for advice.”

There was another long pause and Jimin tried not to giggle because Namjoon sounded like he was freaking out over the alpha’s absence.

“Look, I can’t come to work today. There’s no chance for that to happen but I’ll look over the files you’ve sent –” Jeongguk sighed. “Tomorrow.”

It sounded like a forced promise, and a long sigh followed before Jeongguk ended the call with an almost-annoyed good-bye. It was clear that he’d been talked into something he didn’t necessarily want to do and he was pouting when his eyes met Jimin’s mischievous ones.

“So today is the last day of our honeymoon,” the omega concluded teasingly, and rolled over so he could see Jeongguk upside down. The alpha’s moodiness dissipated in seconds at the sight, and he walked closer to the bed, bending down immediately to place a chaste kiss on the other’s plump lips.

“No, I just have to go back to work.” Another kiss was placed, this time on top of Jimin’s button nose.

Jimin hummed in approval and grabbed a fistful of the other’s shirt, moving so they could both sit on the bed. He climbed onto a familiar lap, resting his head against Jeongguk’s strong chest, and enjoyed the sweet aroma surrounding him. Jeongguk had learned over the past few days that there were many sides to Jimin – he would turn from shy to playful in a second, combining his toned down childishness with a type of sensuality the alpha has never encountered before. He was like a breath of fresh air and Jeongguk had to admit that he was completely charmed.

“I’ll go home too.”

“You could stay here,” the alpha whispered and caressed the smaller boy’s arms. He wouldn’t have minded coming back home to someone for once. He would kiss Jimin as soon as he walked through the door and then they’d have dinner together. For the first time in his twenty-nine years, Jeongguk believed he could find happiness in domesticity.

A part of him was also worried about Jimin leaving his sight. The day before had been difficult. As much as he wouldn’t have wanted their first time making love to be eclipsed by the confession that followed, Jeongguk decided it was better to make himself clear when it came to his thoughts on the matter. The omega had a hard time comprehending the idea that Jeongguk was brought up in a non-judgemental family, that he was taught to empathize and accept the people surrounding him. The discussion ended in tears, but with the help of encouraging whispers and soft kisses, Jimin’s smile came back to brighten the atmosphere.

Jeongguk found it obvious whenever Jimin slipped in that particular headspace and as much as he wanted to encourage the boy not to suppress the way he was feeling, it was also clear that the latter had no idea how to act. The alpha was still searching for a way in which he could trigger that behavior because he wanted to take Jimin’s pressure and worries upon himself.

“I still haven’t figured anything out,” the omega whispered.

“And you need some you time?” Jeongguk tried to guess, his scent changing slightly because of the sadness he was trying to hide. He felt like four days wasn’t enough time to be considered a break after everything that happened to Jimin. They’d gone through a rollercoaster of emotions and something told Jeongguk that they weren’t ready to face reality yet. “I’m afraid you will change your mind once you step out the door.”

“I won’t.” Jimin assured him. He wanted to try to live another type of life. If that meant having Jeongguk around all the time, but that also meant completely changing his life, that was fine. He still had doubts about the fact that the alpha cared for him as much as he was insinuating but he tried to keep his mind open to the new. Even if it wasn’t going to be his happy ever after, he wanted to know what being in a relationship with someone and falling in love was like.

“I’ll be gone pretty much all day tomorrow.” It was clear what the alpha was implying so Jimin grinned and looked into chocolate brown orbs.

“Are you really that whipped for me, alpha?”

“I thought I’ve already made it clear,” Jeongguk replied, leaning in so their lips could meet gently.

He had truly never been interested in the idea of love. He had always known that one day he would have to marry as he took the role of their company’s chaebol, but he had never spent too much time thinking about it. He’d believed he could have compromised – marrying someone his mother had set up him with, making pups - because that was the norm, and would have lived the rest of his life just like that. Everything in his life had been so bland since his father passed away and he thought it was going to be like that until the end.

But then he met Jimin.

“Will you take me on a second date, Jeonggukie?”

Their lips were still touching so the alpha took advantage of that in order to initiate another kiss, this one deeper. His fingers intertwined on the small of Jimin’s back before he replied, “Of course I will, baby.”

The omega cuddled closer, hiding his face in the crook of Jeongguk’s neck.

“I’ll take you on as many dates as you want.”

“Can we have our next date here?”

“Inside my apartment?” Jeongguk chuckled. “That doesn’t sound interesting enough, I think you deserve way better.” He could already imagine the pout caused by his words so he kissed the top of the blond hair in front of him.

“We should sign a contract too.” Jimin’s voice was small but it took the other by surprise. It took him a few seconds before he realized that should have been for the ddlb side of their relationship – it was BDSM after all and they had to be cautious. Some kind of heat began gathering in the pit of his stomach at the idea of going through a list of kinks and seeing what the omega was interested in.

“I can do the research.” Jeongguk offered and earned a peck on the base of his throat instead of a thank you. Jimin’s lips moved until they reached his scent gland and bit the place gently before rubbing his nose against it.

They decided to meet on Friday because the alpha needed a few days to look over the things that happened in the company while he was gone. Even though they couldn’t meet until Friday, Jeongguk still had Jimin on his mind constantly. He thought heavily about how they haven’t touched each other in a sexual manner since that first time and decided it was the best to keep it like that, not wanting to hurry into anything the omega might regret later.

While they were still together there had been some sort of attraction binding them that had made it hard to say goodbye, but Jimin had gathered all his strength and left first thing in the morning. It was six AM when he kissed Jeongguk goodbye while still in bed, and called a cab to take him home.

The silence inside his apartment was dreadful so Jimin turned on the TV to some gossip channel, and proceeded to make himself some coffee. He planned to take a long, lukewarm, shower and then clean up the mess he’d made the night he left, but he felt the burning need to spend some time in little space. His was trying to find the cause of the sudden urge when the host of the morning special on tv said something that caught his attention. Jimin had thought he was imagining things at first, but then turned towards the TV and saw the title was: TOP 10 SEXIEST BACHELORS OF SEOUL. As soon as a picture of Jeongguk stepping out of the car was plastered on the screen, Jimin felt a shiver running down his spine. The alpha was the number one on the list.

A lot of influential people used to ask for his services – from political figures, to actors, and businessmen. Jimin had never been intimidated by them, on the contrary, he’d found it amusing how weak they became when he started satisfying their kinks. But this was different, because Jeongguk was not a client anymore. He was a potential boyfriend. Jimin knew that he and Jeongguk were coming from two different worlds, but it didn’t help that the TV host kept reminding him of that as she went on about all the things he owned, about his charity work, and about his relationships with business partners.

Jimin felt lonely.

“Namjoon, what could cause change in one’s behavior?”

Jeongguk’s question had the other alpha lowering the paper he’d been going over. He arched his brows in surprise at the sudden, obviously unrelated-to-work inquisition and sighed. He was definitely curious about what was going on in his friend’s life.

“Hm –” Namjoon found it funny how detached Jeongguk wanted to seem, because such a curiosity definitely didn’t fall into the “casual conversation” category. “External factors, I’d say.”

“External factors?”

“For example, let’s say you’re having a great day and you’re all dandy but then someone acts like an asshole towards you. Wouldn’t that make you mad?”

Jeongguk hummed in approval and grabbed the pencil he forgot about, trying to reread the contract in his hand. He couldn’t concentrate on the words on the paper because he was overanalyzing his friend’s words, wondering if an external factor could indeed trigger “little space” in Jimin’s case. He thought about all the instances when the omega had been little and figured out that indeed, he had always been stimulated in one way or another – whether it was receiving a toy or being fed.

Jeongguk had big plans for their second date, so on Friday he left work around three in the afternoon and headed to the closest supermarket where he bought all the things he believed he needed. After managing to casually ask Jimin his favorite food earlier that week, Jeongguk has decided to make Kimchi stew. He used to cook a lot when he was in college, but that was more than five years ago. So Jeongguk found himself facing some difficulty as soon as he was done marinating the pork belly. He didn’t have the patience to follow a Youtube tutorial so he called his mother instead.

“Why haven’t you told me you were craving Kimchi stew? I would have cooked some for you.” He could understand why his mom was surprised, he wasn’t famous for the time spent in the kitchen.

“It’s not for me, actually,” Jeongguk replied casually as he waited for the Kimchi to turn soft. He hadn’t realized what he’d said until his mother gasped dramatically, making his heart drop. ****.

“Oh my God, Jeonggukie!” His mom screamed, and Jeongguk knew he was a lost cause as soon as he heard the over enthusiasm through the phone. “Are you seeing someone?”

He dated other people when he was younger, but it had been brief. He’d never introduced any of them to his parents, because he didn’t believe it was a practical thing to do – to bring home people you weren’t seriously dating for a long time, but he knew that now he was never going to hear the end of it. Since his father has passed away, his mother had hinted continuously that she would love for him to have a mate.

“I guess,” Jeongguk didn’t want to give too much information because he knew that everything he said could be used against him. His mother was a goddamn detective when she wanted to be. “It’s only the second date so you can put away your wedding planner,” the alpha joked, earning a chuckle.

“Do I know…?”

“Him. No, I don’t think you do.”

The cooking continued and they talked about all sorts of things that were unrelated to the date. Jeongguk knew he was lucky to have the possibility to be so close to his mother, he knew most people his age cut the ties almost completely. He promised he was going to be at her place on Sunday, as usual and was about to hang up when he heard his name being called.

“You better show that young man a good time.”

He rolled his eyes, but smiled nevertheless before blaming her for not trusting her own son. He cared about Jimin, he wanted nothing more than to make their second date perfect.

When the omega knocked on his door a few minutes before the dish was done, Jeongguk invited him in and kissed his lips hurriedly before running back to the kitchen, trying to explain vaguely that he didn’t want to burn the place down. Jimin giggled before taking his shoes off, and following him, his mouth beginning to water as soon as the smell of Kimchi stew filled his nostrils.

“You didn’t!” The omega said and hurried to the electric stove to look at the delicious-looking outcome. “It looks so good I could cry.”

Jeongguk chuckled, and wrapped his arms around the other’s waist, pulling him closer so he could place a kiss on the crown of his head. “Please don’t, you might cry when you taste it though.”

“I bet it’s delicious.” Jimin furrowed his brows seriously. “And even if it’s not, I’ll still eat it.”

“Are you really that whipped for me, little one?” Jeongguk said, and the omega pretended he didn’t hear the teasing remark. His lips pressed together into a thin line, in a futile attempt to suppress a smile. He was definitely not going to answer that question so he kept the façade even when Jeongguk chuckled and kissed him again.

It was cute to see the great alpha, the great chaebol and wanted bachelor Jeon Jeongguk struggling to plate the food and make it aesthetically pleasing. He was actually frowning while dividing up the kimchi stew, and Jimin wondered what the people working for Jeongguk would say if they saw him like that. Jimin got confused when the plates and spoons were placed on a wooden tray and he was asked to follow the other towards the… bedroom? And he didn’t have the opportunity to voice the question dwelling on his mind because Jeongguk opened the door, allowing him to see inside and his mouth dropped open comically.

There was a huge fort in the middle of the room, so big that the bed could not be seen behind it. The blankets were so colorful that Jimin knew right away that they couldn’t have been in Jeongguk’s apartment before– he probably bought them for the occasion. Fairy lights were attached on the inside, most of them star-shaped, casting their own little universe on the many pillows covering the floor. By the way it looked, the omega could tell that a lot of thought had been put into building it.

“Oh,” was the only thing Jimin could say. “It’s –” He bit on his lower lip, deciding right away that he didn’t want to share the fact that he had never been inside one of these before. “It’s so pretty, Ggukie.” And so colorful. He couldn’t wait to get inside of it.

“I’m glad you like it,” Jeongguk replied and entered the fort first, placing the tray on the floor and crossed his legs so he wouldn’t take up a lot of space. Jimin followed, stepping inside almost shyly, his eyes following the many rows of lights decorating the “walls” of the fort. “I hope this will qualify as a nice second date.”

“I’m sure it will,” Jimin whispered and mirrored the other’s position, crossing his legs. He felt so dazzled by the effort that he couldn’t even think of eating, his heart making a loop inside his chest at the thought that the alpha most likely spent hours doing all of this for him. He felt special, and that was a strange thing to begin with.

Jimin felt a little pressure while eating because he didn’t want to make a mess and destroy any of the pillows the tray was placed on, but he took his time to praise the cook. It was probably the best Kimchi stew he had eaten in years, and he was thinking of that, realizing he was slipping into that headspace he always tried to avoid when he accidentally dropped his spoon and splashed sauce on the tray. It didn’t get on any of the pillows, but until he made sure of that, he felt his hand beginning to tremble, his cheeks flushing in embarrassment.

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to.” His voice was tiny, and Jeongguk wiped his own mouth with a napkin before deciding to step in. He didn’t like to see the omega so tense.

“It’s okay,” he promised, and grabbed Jimin’s hand. “It was just an accident, wasn’t it?” The boy nodded, his eyes avoiding Jeongguk’s stare and the latter squeezed his fingers. “Accidents happen all the time, baby.”

“I know but you were so careful.” If Jimin wouldn’t have been so upset, the alpha would have cooed at the cute pout put on display.

“Pups are messy all the time.” Jeongguk’s words were hesitant, as if he was stepping on mined grounds. It was probably because he felt like it – he wanted to bet on the fact that Jimin was close to slipping, probably not even realizing what was going on. It must have been the fort and the calm atmosphere that made Jimin feel that way, and he wanted to help feel comfortable enough to slip completely. Jimin flinched as soon as he heard pups and finally looked at him with big eyes. “That’s what I’m here for,” Jeongguk dared. “To take care of you.”

“I’m not a pup.” The statement was barely audible, and the alpha could tell that Jimin wasn’t believing what he was saying because of how hard he bit on his lower lip after he spoke. He knew there was a constant battle between Jimin and his little self and that it was most likely governed by the fear of being rejected.

“Oh?” Jeongguk faked being surprised. “I thought you were my pup.”

Those words combined with the gentle touch of the alpha’s hand engulfing his little one made Jimin’s walls crumble.

“I want to.” He said, aggravated by the possibility of losing the chance. “I really want to, Daddy. I want to be your good boy!” The last words were almost shouted so Jeongguk brought his hand to his lips in order to kiss it.

“Okay, little one.”

It was the second time Jimin was calling him Daddy and it felt good. It felt good because he knew he’d earned the title and along with it, the omega’s trust. He grabbed the dropped spoon and fed the boy until his share was gone. Jimin’s bambi eyes never leaving his own, it was so adorable Jeongguk wanted to kiss him silly.

They talked about what happened during the time that they were apart and soon enough the food was gone, so Jeongguk took the tray to the kitchen before coming back for cuddles. The omega had made himself into a ball in the meantime, his cheeks still pink so the alpha’s first instinct was to pull him into his arms. It was almost shocking how the confidence with which Jimin had first presented himself with melted into the cute shyness he was currently portraying. Jimin hid his face into the crook of Jeongguk’s neck as soon as he had the opportunity to do so.

“I know you’re having a hard time being little around me,” the alpha admitted and started rocking the boy back and forth in a calming attempt. “I’ve seen the way you’re trying to snap out of it sometimes and I know you’ve been ashamed that you allowed yourself to be little that whole afternoon, that you called me Daddy.” He was sure that it was scary to let go of yourself and trust someone to look after you and well-being and he imagined it was a thousand times more terrifying for someone like Jimin, who didn’t trust people. “But I promise you that I like little Min just as much as I like big Min.”

“It’s weird,” the omega whispered, his voice barely audible.

“It’s not,” Jeongguk repeated, accentuating every word. “I enjoy it too, I like babying you.”

“Promise?”

The alpha raised his hand so his pinky could wrap around Jimin’s.

“I promise.” Jeongguk smiled when he saw Jimin’s cheeks were coloring further and cupped his face gently before pressing his lips against plush ones. The little one let out a small sigh as soon as they parted so Jeongguk kissed his forehead. “I’ll be right back,” he said and tried to place the boy on the pillows but arms wrapped around his middle, clinging onto him like a baby koala. “It will only be a minute.”

“No,” Jimin protested and tightened the grasp, making the alpha chuckle.

“Okay then.”

Jeongguk had carried him before, so when he suddenly got up, sustaining all his weight, the blond started to giggle in delight, hurrying to wrap his legs around the small waist in front of him. He loved that Jeongguk was always finding a way to grant his wishes, that he never laughed at his childishness. It was, as predicted, a short trip to the alpha’s study where Jeongguk retrieved a black plastic folder before heading back to the fort.

“What’s in there?” Jimin asked as he was laid down on the pillows, Jeongguk moving on top of him and his answer came in the form of a kiss first. Jimin closed his eyes, his hands letting go of the man’s waist in order to run up his back and finally bury into his dark strands. Tugging on it made sweet memories flood his brain, his underwear getting wetter with each brush of Jeongguk’s tongue against his. The alpha pulled away when Jimin moaned against his lips and gathered him in his arms, placing him in between his legs and offered him the folder.

“Why don’t you open it?”

Jimin didn’t need to be told twice, his fingers hooked onto the little elastic band, tugging it until he could open the file. There were colorful paper sheets inside – each one a different pastel color so he briefly looked through them before reading the big title written on the first page:

Daddy/Little Contract

*glitter pens, markers and crayons welcomed in this document

Jimin giggled at the second line and turned around to look Jeongguk in the eye, as if he was making sure that he truly meant it. The alpha kissed his lips chastely and then the tip of his nose.

“I think there’s no better proof of how much I want this too,” Jeongguk whispered and pulled him closer, so Jimin’s back was flush against his front. He never thought about signing contracts with his romantic partners, God knows he was tired of paperwork, but he believed that was the best way to convince Jimin not to hold back from feeling little.

He took his time to put the contract together – he found a lot of sources but personalized everything accordingly, trying to make it look cute and inviting at the same time.

“And I can really call you Daddy all the time after we sign this?”

“Mhmm,” Jeongguk hummed and kissed the spot behind his ear. “I’ll be officially your Daddy. I think you should go over the questionnaire first and then we can come back to the contract.” The questionnaire held all types of general questions – most of them of sexual nature – that Jeongguk believed would be important for him to know.

“It says here that I should use stickers,” Jimin furrowed his brows in confusion until the alpha told him to search through the papers once again. He found bugs stickers and gasped in surprise because they were so many and so pretty, some of them even glittery. He didn’t know with which one to start.

“I think you should use different ones for each rubric.”

“I’ll start with dragonflies,” the omega said seriously and grabbed the purple sticker sheet.

Jeongguk watched closely as he placed the dragonfly beside “little” answer to “I identify as:” and added some more to the paths of submission he was interested in: D/s, pet, pleasure slave. He hesitated when it came to “masochist” so the alpha rubbed his nose against the base of his neck, trying to get him to relax. His hands were shaking pretty badly.

“I don’t know if I really like this one but I’d like to try.”

“Why don’t you pick a bug for the things you think you’d like to explore but you’re not sure about?” It was a good idea so Jimin grabbed a smiley beetle and stuck it next to the word.

Jeongguk had no idea what to expect when it came to the list of kinks he wrote and kept himself from commenting anything as the boy looked through them. There were only a few things Jimin was not into and wasn’t willing to explore and most of them were on the harsher side of the spectrum – from wooden paddles to choking and humiliation. He could tell that nothing turned on the boy more than compliments, he saw how his body reacted to sweet words. There have been a few beetles too but they were almost insignificant in number compared to the dragonflies.

He wondered if Jimin experienced these before with clients but didn’t dare to ask because he didn’t want to ruin the mood.

“Could I add something else?”

“Of course, baby. There are glittery pencils somewhere inside the folder too.”

Jimin grabbed the pink one and added “breeding kink” under the list, his face turning a deep shade of red. He didn’t seem embarrassed, he seemed absolutely mortified, and as soon as Jeongguk saw that his cinnamon eyes became glassy he wrapped his arms around the boy, trapping him in a bear hug.

“It’s pathetic, isn’t it?” The omega whispered, his lower lip quivering. He just wanted to feel normal, wanted to be talked to like normal, fertile omegas were talked to. He wanted that illusion, even if it lasted only a couple of seconds.

“It’s not,” Jeongguk promised. He couldn’t think of a smarter comeback so he simply held Jimin, rocking him slowly like with a child, waiting for the sadness to subside. He could understand why that kink was important to the omega.

Jimin managed to pull himself together and slowly detached himself from the tight hug in order to continue, smiling sincerely at the following lines. They were about allergies and mental conditions and for some reason the idea of Jeongguk being interested in those topics made his heart flutter. He used bees as his sticker in the “fears” rubric and stuck them next to anxiety, depression, fear of enclosed spaces, fear of humiliation, fear of thunderstorm and fear of the dark. He put two bees next to fear of abandonment and flipped the page immediately, trying not to think too much about it.

The third part of the questionnaire was titled “Little Space Preferences” and it was supposed to hold information about favorite snacks and favorite shows to watch in little space, favorite plushies and so on. The questions were all very sweet but Jimin couldn’t fathom the answer to most of them.

“I don’t know what to write,” the omega finally admitted, lowering the glittery pen. He was so new to all of this that he couldn’t tell “favorites” and he didn’t want those things to be invalid in a few weeks from them on.

“We can always come back to this,” Jeongguk said and kissed the side of his head.

They completed the contract together – Jimin using pink and Jeongguk purple – from the name preferences to hard and soft limits. The little chose “Bugs Bunny” as the safe word and they’ve decided on the rules together, the alpha wanting to understand exactly what he had the freedom to do and decide for the both of them. He was sure that the pieces were going to fall together naturally over time but he wanted to make sure that Jimin knew that he could safe-word anytime. He didn’t want to take advantage of his role.

They signed the contract without a second thought and Jimin placed butterflies all over their signatures, smiling widely at his handiwork as soon as he was done.

“I think it looks really pretty,” Jeongguk said and kissed the side of the omega’s neck, taking in the sweet freesia scent. He loved how tiny Jimin felt in his arms, how he could engulf him whole with a simple embrace. “That reminds me that we should get started with the dessert.”

“Dessert?” As soon as the boy repeated the word, his stomach began making grumbling noises so he hurried to hide his face in Jeongguk’s neck.

“I thought cupcakes sounded like a good pick, but we have to make them first,” the alpha muttered against blond boy’s hair. “I realized they wouldn’t be sweet enough without your help.” The last sentence peaked Jimin’s interest so he slowly pulled away in order to look Jeongguk in the eye.

“Because I’m your sweet boy?” His voice was small and his lips remained parted, probably waiting for a kiss that didn’t wait to be delivered.

“Because you’re my sweet boy.”
