My brain stopped working and heart pounded.

So I took the only option my panicked brain was providing. I grabbed my bag, scrambled to my feet and ran like my life depended on it... for all I know... it did. I arrived at my apartment soaking, disheveled and panting hard.

Hannah : Had that really happened? Was I going crazy? Maybe I had just been a victim of an elaborate prank?

My mind tried to rationalize it while my body went through the motions of showering. I wasn't sure how long I spent wracking my brain. But eventually I teetered on the edge of exhaustion. After finishing my shower, I laid down on my fluffy matters. Sure I'd be plagued by questions, but instead I feel into one of the deepest slumbers I'd ever had.

As soon as I closed my eyes.. I fell asleep...

I awoke with a yawn that almost cracked my jaw. Shaking my head, I looked around, my mind sloughing up my sleepiness. However...

I SCREAMED, and scrambled to cover myself with the blankets.

My eyes flicked over to my bag, which had spilled open, there was the amulet and scroll inside.

...Was u still dreaming? Was that possible? It didn't seem like it.

Hannah : Y-you guys real?

Both of them : Of course we are! What's the matter with you, woman? You act like you've never seen a Djinni before.

Hannah : That's because I haven't!

The Sliver One : You've never seen a Djinni? But we're everyw--... What year is it?

Hannah : Twenty Twenty. Your display said you were from thousands of years ago.

The Sliver One : Thousands of years? I...I think we have asleep a very long time, Jungkook.

Jungkook : I don't believe it. Our summoner is obviously delusional. Or perhaps a witch herself. I've never seen a Pink-eyed human.

Hannah : it's called lenses, thank you so much. And you two are mystical begins that invaded my bedroom, and shouldn't exist. But you want to doubt my perspective?

The Sliver One : She does have a point. it feels... different here, doesn't it? Dry. Magicless even.

Jungkook : Hupf, perhaps it is possible, Taehyung, but what does that mean for us?

Hannah : Um, hello, I think this is more of a what-does-this-mean-for-me? This is my apartment, and my life. If you guys wouldn't mind leaving to whatever you magical sirs like to go, that'd be just peachy.

Taehyung : I apologise for any inconvenience. But if you did not want the Power of Djinni, Why did you summon us?

Hannah : I didn't! I mean, I don't think I did. I heard a voice, and I thought it was the tour guide, and the next thing I knew... You guys were POOF-ing in front of me.

Jungkook : A voice? that's it?

Taehyung : Interesting.

Hannah : That perhaps the most underwhelming way to describe it, yeah.

Jungkook : Enough parsing of words. Jungkook the Mighty does not stay where he is not wanted. Let me grant your request, and I'll be more than happy to roam the earth again. Apparently it's been a while.

Hannah : Request? What do you mean? Like a wish?

Jungkook : You think Jungkook the Mighty is a lowly wish Djinni? No, mortal. I am the embodiment of power and war! Summon me, and I will lay your enemies low! Conquer their lands! No one has defeated Jungkook, and none ever shall!

Hannah : ...That was incredibly overdramatic. and I don't really have enemies.

Jungkook : You... no enemies! What kind of kingdom is this?

Taehyung : Obviously the world has changed quite a bit.

Hannah : And what's your shtick? You make armies, or something?

Taehyung : No, of course not! I am a Healer! can close wounds, mend bones. I stave off infection and bless the birth of the next generation.

Hannah : Can you cure cancer?

Taehyung : Can... what?

Hannah : Of course. Welp, I have no use for either of you, so you can just go now.

Jungkook : That's not how it works, little witch girl! As we said, we're bound to you! We cannot leave your side until we fulfill our duty to you!

Taehyung : Jungkook... this must be a shock to her-

Jungkook : Be quiet. Your diplomacy will get us nowhere. You witch girl, make a request!

Ever since these two had erupted from their vessels, I had been terrified. But I had been bullied too much as a kid, and Jungkook's tone rubbed me wrong. I stood on my mattress, dropping the covers as we stood face to face.

Hannah : Now listen here, you red-tinged bully! This is my place, and you will not speak to me or silver boy like that! You understood?

To my surprise, the confident Djinni wouldn't meet my gaze. A blush covered his cheeks. I looked over to Taehyung, to see that he had turned around completely.

Suddenly, I felt self-conscious.

Hannah : ...Was it something I said?

The two were quiet for a moment, and the awkwardness seemed to hand in the air.

Finally, Jungkook cleared his throat and tried to look my way, but ended up staring just above me.
